| Today, our kitten came home!  Unfortuantly, we were unable to take home the cat we had originally adopted, Lewis. Though me and my brother both loved the fiesty kitten, he had cat flu, and put our other cat Bruno at risk, as Bruno is very old and unvacinated. To take Lewis home, we would have to confine him to the bathroom for six weeks, continually wash our hands, clothes and everything else, as soon as we left the bathroom. Feeling that it would be too hard to keep up, and unwilling to put Bruno at risk, we adopted another kitten. Her name is Miss Boots, which is because of her little white paws. She wasn't acutally named by us; she was named Miss Boots by the Cat Haven, but the name kinda stuck and we were unwilling to change it. I really liked the name anyway, so I'm glad it didn't change ^.^ She is very different to Lewis, who was meowing the whole time we were there. She is very quiet and shy, and was unwilling to leave the carry cage at first. She is also very gentle; she doesn't scratch if I pick her up, and doesn't use her claws when attacking my finger. Instead of posting pictures here, I will post links. The pictures are probably too big for the forum anyway. | Thank you I know I previously said she was shy, but now that she's gotten used to the house and us she's a bit of a livewire Lewis should be okay. I don't think he was ever at any risk, and the Cat Haven said there was another family interseted in him. | |
