Appearance: An large and healthy male none the less, he is of pretty average height but holds more muscular prowess and build upon him than others, making him quite the sight as the sinewy muscles under his pelt wriggle at every one of his slick movements. What coats this seemingly thick muscle, is that wonderful and unique pelt of his; silver well not silver but an exotic silver bluish not something one sees around a Kalahari Meerkat. His eyes are an deep and an powerful amber, the color matching the very sun of the Kalahari desert. Like most Meerkats Varjack holds his stripes; his stripes being much darker in coloration than most Meerkats. Like quite a lot of Meerkats he keeps an sort of collar in his neck, put into him by two legged creatures.

Personality: Varjack's a independent Meerkat. An master at the art of keeping secrets to himself, he thinks behind an cunning and calculating mind, making him of Dominant Male material. Often composed and calm, emotions are known to never get the better of this Meerkat giving him more of an edge within certain scenarios and the ideal attitude towards leadership. Unpredictable yet mysterious and Intelligent. It comes down to the fact that claws and jaws prove potentially murderous and even merciless when it comes to power, and will stop at nothing to obtain his goals making him an very ambitious and determined individual; going as far as to killing others if it has to go that far; with the history he has held he has learned that there is no limitations to what something an Dominant Male like himself wants making him slightly egotistic; making him think himself above others as one of higher power in society and also making him an very confident creature. Of course these darker parts of himself are never seen after all he is an Meerkat of disguise, more positive traits to his unique personality is the fact that Varjack is a fair leader, and never wishes to treat his members poorly, sometimes even seen as an 'gentle giant' in the eyes of others. Aside from his conflicting imagery, Varjack is also known to hold a rather charming, or flirtatious demeanor towards females he finds appealing, yet never starting a relationship between the female liking to be the ever constant shadow that disappears. This charisma flows with his lying and deception making him somewhat of an ghost or fake leader; he is not above manipulating his people just so he can get the best for and from them; also making him an rather skilled person when coming to politics.

History:

Varjack was born into a wild mob of the dominants. When he was around a year and a half Angelus killed all but six members of the group- him and three of his brothers, and two unrelated females. Holly took over alongside Julius, his older brother. When Varjack was two Julius was predated, leaving him for next top contender. He took his brother's place and him and Holly ruled until the dry season, when Holly and their second litter all perished. He led the group for several months alone, refusing to take a new mate in grief. Tam took over next, but it just wasn't the same, he knew it when their pups were born. His younger brother attempted to overthrow him, but Varjack didn't want to win. It just didn't feel the same, so he submitted and was banished from the group. He believes he's ready to make a connection with someone again, but he has yet to find someone who was as devious, hot-headed, snarky, but incredibly loyal and determined meerkat as Holly was.
