I'm creating a unique map for the mobs... Researching the Kalahari to do so~

Erm, help would be nice xD I would like to choose mobs that would be interesting for plots and involvement, just so we can keep it going.
I have all these ideas for the map but not sure how to organize them. ^^'

As soon as I get my feet back on the ground here and get a better internet service provider I'd be glad to help in any way I can.

The things I want to add...
There's actually vegetation variation in the Kalahari... Some places have denser plant matter, like grasses and shrubs, I would like that on the map...
I want to add some sort of dune... KMP talks about that in their area.
There are dry riverbeds... Ancient rivers that now serve as places where lakes form in the wet season...
There are forests in the Kalahari... That might be cool.
I would like to add a ravine...
There are roads in the Kalahari... Maybe a railroad and a road that's relatively busy...
I want a mountain... Other terrain modifications I would like is hills and a sort of flat plain with a small cliff at its edge...
This may be a surprise, but there are towns in the Kalahari. I want a small town and some farmland for plants and livestock on part of the territory...
I would like much of the area in a protected game reserve...

This is a nightmare.
The power went out. Now I am heating my last living egg with hot water bottles. Lazy workers don't want to fix it until morning... -.-
So I'm gonna be up all night or whatever...
Stupid car, running into a powerline (and completely destroying it too)

The chick has started to pip at least... It'll be easier once it hatches to keep it warm... Warm water only lasts so long...

Due to my own stupidity, the only chick that survived died due to the yolk sac not being fully absorbed.

I'm finding it difficult to live with myself right now, much less post, sorry guys...

I've been working on a map for Kalahari Central.
Here's a WIP:

As you can see, it needs more work, but it's getting there.  This map covers more area than it appears to, lots of room for mobs.
There are a lot of things we don't usually deal with in meerkat roleplay...
Like roads... And it's on the edge of a small town... Tiny town...
Then there's large groups of trees.  Not exactly forests, but close.
There's one other dry body of water but it covers a lot of ground and therefore is hard to label.  ^^'

Rules for the forum are almost done though~

I've been working on the forum and it's almost ready. Now I'm adding cat clans, so I gotta work on that. X3

We have our mobs though!

Well i see this has been gathering dust for a long time and i think it's time to clean the dust off so we can have a way to chat with each other .

Yeah, I wouldn't mind restoring this topic. The chatbox can be a bit annoying at times since it kicks you off if you're too idle. XP

We could make a topic where we could talk about all sorts of stuff in the Role play discussion board. If it's about plots, though, it'd go in the Plots board. :3

I watched Jurassic World today.

Not with my Mom's Cousin or her daughter like i expected it to be but rather with my Grandma like originally planned, she watched the movie with my stupid Aunt, Uncle in law and 2 cousins but she got a free pass using senior citizen stuff that only works on Monday and Tuesdays bit it's limited to like 250 uses which would take years to take down considering we rarely watch movies unless its a REALLY good movie that everyone is talking about or a franchise that we're familiar with, even then it's only really once in a blue moon mainly because it cost 200+ pesos to watch a movie that isn't made in the Philippines (Which where i live). Still expensive however.

That aside i'l try to give my thoughts about it with very little to no spoilers.

It was AWESOME definitely something i recommend everyone to watch especially if you're a big fan of dinosaurs and Jurassic Park.

It acts like a direct sequel to the first Jurassic Park movie thus The Lost World have no place in this canon, to be fair nobody likes The Lost World anyway, better off it being forgotten.

The opening sequence of the movie where the camera pans over the entire park really got me, in fact i nearly shed a tear easily one of the most memorable scenes in the movie.

The characters are pretty solid too and they got some pretty interesting character development throughout the movie.

The movie had really cool subtle reference to the first Jurassic Park, i really like it since it wasn't "In yo face" kind of references.

The movie was missing a particular iconic being however....

That's all i would say for now otherwise i might spoil too much by geeking out about it here.

I saw it on Friday Moonbacon! We made a family event out of it too, lol. I really enjoyed it, a few things bugged me but you don't think about those until the movie's over.

But all the dead dinosaurs were quite upsetting.

Yea it sucks and rather saddening.

I have nagging feeling that there might be a sequel because some of the scenes near the end suggest otherwise.

Either way the next movie on the list is the new Terminator even though i have never watched a terminator movie in my life but i will still watch it.
