Longer signatures?

I think it'd be cool to allow more characters regarding signatures. I've wanted to make my characters' names clickable, which would take the clicker to their bio, but its impossible because it makes the signature too long. I don't mean it to sound like I want it done for my own reasons- I'd like it to be of use to the other members as well, of course. Can this possibly be considered?

I'm afraid the 1000 character signature limit is a constraint that cannot be changed and is a given for Forumotion. You may find you will need to reformat your signature to cut down on the huge spaces as they may contribute. But the click links do work as I have just tested it.
