| Name:Bellatrix
Gender:Female
Age: 4 1/2 months
Appearance
Bellatrix is a unique lightish grey that's rarely seen in the desert with black stripes that are somewhat swirly and cover her eyes like a mask you would see on classic super hero comics (lol). Her front paws/legs are black.
She has long claws and fangs and doesn't hesitate to use them when she's upset.
History Born to a wild group, Bellatrix was in a litter of five until starvation hit and she lost her parents and siblings. She's been forced to grow up fast and has never been seen begging for food or needing assistance. Perhaps it was her quick maturity that was able to help her find a new home.
PersonalityIn the beginning she had kept to herself and learned from each member. Her dark cleverness helped her find out that if she sticks close to the most dominant female, she'll get everything she needs and probably a bit more. With this new technique she sometimes nips at the other members without much consequence but with the new group growing, her exact future remains unknown but she does her best to keep it positively sealed. She's clever, quick thinking, and always does what she can to give herself the better odds.

| Well, the Nightingales are being formed by a group split, started and led by Lucille. You could say, if you want, that she accidentally ended up following the wrong group when the mob split into two. c:
Lucille isn't really the type to baby her kids though and I'm not exactly sure if she would adopt someone else's in a hurry either... hmm, idk
Also we are trying to be a bit more realistic so you might wanna change her fur color a bit. owo However, we may want to ask the others about that too, as I'm only one staff member.

| Maybe make her just a tad older so perhaps Lucille wouldn't need to adopt her? | |

| Hm, maybe. I don't think Luci has any pups under a year though...
Also, in addition to the appearance, she'll need an actual bio too owo

| Oops I'm too use to Linklu. I'll just make her dark grey with normal meerkat stripes. With Greenish eyes. (Can't remember if that was okay)
I'll make her an age that seems best. I don't know what you guys have decided yet.

| I feel that having gray or light gray fur would be better considering that there's actually grey colored meerkats but not dark grey.
Just a suggestion though.

| Yeah, well... meerkats in the Kalahari typically aren't gray. They can't blend in very well.
To be honest I'd like to have our rules on fur color be more strict than it is, but... it's a bit late for that isn't it?
Would grayish-brown work better?
Eye color and markings are fine though.

| Well some meerkats on other parts of the world have gray fur though, ever seen the Irchel mob? they're pretty gray for meerkats.
But since we're on the Kalahari i guess having a grey meerkat wouldn't fit well.

| If you really wanted a solid age for her, I'd suggest anywhere between 6-9 months(: that way she's still under a year old, but she's also old enough to be more independent than other pups.
"...considered as pups until they're 3 months of age, as juveniles until they're 6 months old, and as sub-adults until they're 12 months old."
