I was thinking maybe a different catagory, called 'mobs of the afterlife' and seperate forums for the two.

I need a good name for the catagory. I was thinking something alomg the lines of 'Valley of Desert Souls' or something...

You could call it 'the Afterlife,' but I like your idea better.

Can we also have characters from the Stargazers RP who died on there? I'm planning on putting and afterlife for them on the Stargazers site to, but I'm thinking that when they are looking over meerkats in the Desert Warriors RP, they can cross over like the living do. I already have a character in the afterlife thing, Akina's littermate Akida.

I don't see why not.
We will have to make up a mini plot, just to give us something to roleplay.

Well, I have Akida, and if she wants to still play him, StormyMeerkat has Chris. What about other pups like Akida that died?

Well, there's a bit going on with Turahn... I'm bringing in Blazer (and renaming him) as Turahn's father from Linklu.

I thought that maybe an idea to keep things simple for new pup arrivals was maybe to do something similar as we do for living pups:
Take date of mating + 53 days and if the pup died during very early infancy or was stillborn they can automatically transfer over to the 'Spirit Sands' group of owners choice.
But for aborted litters, they would still have been given a theoretical due date and so could possibly wait in limbo? until they appear in the afterlife (techinally what MG's litter have done until their birthdate which is the 19th sept)
Make sense?

Well, I think once they die they should go right to the afterlife. They are already alive in the mother and an abortion means of course that they have died, due dates simply ditermine whether or not they are fully developed and ready to live outside the mother, I don't think due dates should really affect how soon the pups go to the afterlife.

Yeah, I agree with Kusuma. If they die, then they should just go straight to the afterlife.

But if they were aborted, then would they need to find an adoptive mother in the afterlife? ...Would they even age, or would they be stuck as pups forever?

I think that those who die as pups, remain as pups.
If the pups who are aborted/killed going up for adoption, could I maybe take Psycho's pup?
