Roleplay - 23rd of September

Bommer stands up and calls. I'm no threat!

Akina saw him and suddenly jumped back with surprise and ducked behind Carnation.

Carnation felt something against her and saw Akina huddling close to her looking anxious. She sat up and looked down at Akina chirping questioningly then picks up the strange scent. Her heart starts pounding but she refuses to let her anxiety boil over. She stands up on her hind legs and scans the area staying stern. After seeing Akina's nervous reaction, she spots Boomer and growls.( Ok don't back down. There's pups to protect and I'll protect them fiercely if I have to even if I'm scared!) Carnation stands with her shoulders up, chest fluffed out and narrows her eyes at Boomer.

Boomer smiles. Want some help? I'd be honored.

Akina narrowed her eyes at Boomer, she didn't trust anyone who snuck up on them and growled nervously.

Boomer hung his head. Sorry, I guess i'll be going.

Carnation snorts (Yeah like I'm going to believe that one). Carnation is slow to trust meerkats in her new group let alone a stranger and simply refuses to approach Boomer. There's pups to protect and she vows that she'll put her life on the line to keep them safe. If Boomer puts one paw foward, she'll attack.

Boomer just walks off and leaves. He's true to his word.

Akina watched him then started to feel bad, he didn't seem very threatening, he actually seemed rather nice. She peeped to Boomer, as if she was sad to see him go.

Boomer looked back. He nooded. He wanted to come back, but the babysitter seemed against it.

Carnation lowers her gaurd as she watches Boomer sulkingly walking off. Maybe he really meant what he said. She peeped to him softly but cautiously (If you wanna help out you can but make sure the dominants don't catch you hanging around here when they return)

Boomer nodded and skipped over. He stood high on a tree, keeping a lookout.

Akina smiled to Boomer, he was definatly enthusiastic. She liked that in a meerkat.

Carnation also smiles at Boomer. His help is greatly appreciated and Carnation finds herself trusting him quickly. He seems like a very reliable meerkat.

ooc: I want Boomer to join the mob. Is that okay?

Hershey returns above ground to find Boomer there. Unsure of him, she growls and bears her teeth. This was a babysitting burrow.

Carnation peeps to Hershey reassuring her that Boomer means no harm and saw that they could use more help with babysitting.

Turahn stumbled above ground with an effort. He had spent more time helping out than trying to recover from lack of nourishment she he hadn't improved at all. He narrowed his eyes at Boomer for a moment. He was far from trusting any newcomer male. That was what had began to destroy his family...

ooc: Hopefully you see how dedicated he is. He's rather die protecting his loved ones than anything else...

Carnation sees Turahn emerge in a weakend state and her nurturing nature immediately kicks in. She frowns and softly churrs sadden to see him in a such a weakened condition and pads over to him. She offers some caring grooming.

Boomer, seeing the meerkat's condition, does his job even harder. He knows that a weak meerkat wouldn't stand a chance in a fight unless there was an early warning, so he would have time to get away.

Carnation lets out a somber churr as she noticed Turahn is undernurished and skinny. She offers to nurture him back to health and starts off by helping to find to food for him. Carnation forages around the burrow and finds a big juicy beetle larvae. She picks it up in her mouth, brings it over to Turahn and drops it on the ground in front of him then looks up at him caringly. The beetle larvae should help him to gain his strength.

Hershey calms down, and turns her attention to Turahn.

Turahn shook his head. The mob came first...

PK eats a beetle.

Kal eats a scorpion.

Carnation churred then nudged the beetle larvae closer to Turahn. She looks at him with a coaxing smile(Trust me you'll need it)
