| I really like all of the rules- they make great sense to me. But since I'm still new and trying to assure I understand everything, what you're saying is, when we decide we wish to create a character, you first PM the administrator and have him/her approve it, correct? |

| No. All you do is post the character's biography in the board of the mob you want them to join, and wait for a staff member to post an approval in the thread. Any users with blue usernames are moderators. You can look at bios already present in the broards as examples (preferably the ones titled after the name of the characters. The ones titled "hey can I please join" and such are from people who were just as new at this as you are now when they wrote those.) | |

| I had a question that I wanted to put forward to the rest of the site. As the list of characters is nearly reaching 500 should we make an addition to the rule list to keep signature lists clear and up to date with members characters. I know most if not all do this already but the list of questionable temporary dispered characters is still quite high.
Signatures are a great and fast way to communicate this information and would make roll calling much easier if we have a definite yes or no to a character being in a mob.

| I think we should go through with this rule. It would be really helpful and make things much easier when it comes to updating the character list.
I was also thinking since the group numbers are high as well, when a rover visits, the chances of them getting lucky with a female drops the higher the mob numbers.

| Nice idea Yoshkat, maybe we can come up with a simple equation. Rovers chances would certainly go down with high numbers of male subordinates. | |

| Yup. We try to keep things realistic on this site but we can also get a little creative X3 There are meerkats on here with black fur and red or green eyes. There's also a few with white fur as well, but that's as far as we're allowed to go with unrealistic X3
Thanks :3 I like the idea. I was also thinking maybe there can be a character limit for each user. I've noticed a huge amount of characters will get introduced by one person, then half of them end up getting neglected or not introduced at all after their bio is written up.

| The charector limit is fine with me since I'll probably be only able to rp 5 charectors at once in each group so in my case if I want to to introduce a new charector I'll have to put one of my charectors up for adoption or I'll have to make them get killed, or evicted or make them leave the manor or make them go off roving and disappear into the unknown. |

| Yeah, I plan to move some of my characters to a less active site in the future. I'm sticking with what I have now for the time being, current characters and soon to be introduced characters, so I don't over whelm myself XD | |

| A realistic character limit is acceptable, some people can handle a lot, some may just be able to find the time with only one. I think anymore than 5 or 6 per group could start getting out of hand and causing problems if the member has to go away for an amount of time. (It's not definite and is not aimed at anyone if that they have that many characters already) | |

| That sounds fine to me I'm sticking to at lease 1-3 characters per group as that's the amount I can handle. I feel the need to offer this as a suggestion. With the sudden influx of new users and frustrations of hyperposting on the rise as well, maybe some kind of posting rule could be imposed? | |

| Maybe not a character limit, but a limit for how many characters you can have in each mob? There used to be a group or so that over a quarter of the members were RPed by the same person. Not that it was a bad thing.
We might also need a bit more rule enforcing- some meerkat sites almost got burned to the ground because of a perverted member. Our site's getting fairly large- maybe a new moderator? And I love DW. I don't want to see us get kicked off the web because of a pervert. (I know of a site that was removed three times before because of all the pervs and spammers that got on it. D:)

| I think that's a better idea Stormy So far, DW seems to have non-perverted members. But yeah, I feel the site could use some more rules and another moderator. Also we could use another admin to help Dipsy out with the site. If a spamperve, like the one on Midnight Holidays, registers and wreaks havock while she's offline, we'd be able to ban them after their first post with an admin on from a different time zone. I don't wanna see DW get kicked off the search engines either. It, along with Linklu and Kalahari Manor, are the only active meerkat RP sites left alive that I know of D: | |

| Is that what happened on MH? :O That's terrible. Maybe we have been lucky on DW with our infequent spammers.
Yeah it was a mob character limit we were discussing not an overall one but you could probabaly work out that they could be the same thing once you multipied the first by the numbers of mobs.

| Yup. They had their characters rape and murder ours DX That person was sadistic. Ironically, it was alot less active than here and the site was just new too. | |

| :O That's really shocking. Which is such a shame there are people out there that come onto a site to do that. I'm not sure our members would feel trusted if you were new and had to join on a trial basis for X number of weeks before you were acccepted.
Maybe it's harder to just drop in on a highly active site like this. Has it happened on Linklu or Ozzkat's Kalahari site?
Maybe having reserved names in a list in the signature box as well could be useful, I'm trying to work my way down the old posts and list and there is so many names.

| Well, there was one person named LolaPunkZappa who was banned from Linklu. She didn't rape anyone's character but she had them act invincible when attacked, had them ignore attacks and come out of a fight acting as if no injuries were inflicted. She had one of her charries rip another's eye out without permission, which resulted in her permenant bannishment. There were also a few users who PMed pornographic sites there, they were banned as well. I dunno about Ozzkat's site. I haven't been there that long. | |

| Not really..But we should be. We can't wrap the site up away from the things that are out there on the internet but we can at least try and make sure that our members who want to correctly RP here feel they can do and there is some protection that we have eyes to spot the spammers and offenders.

| That's true. Every time a new user registers, I check their profile or IP adress for any site links that may raise red flags. So far, everyone who's joined has been clean. The user who spammed on Stormy's site had the same IP adress as her. Either she was using a computer in the same area, or she managed to hack into her IP adress. | |

| Maybe, we should have an email address monitored by all staff members where users can send emails warning of spampervs and godmoders while the staff are offline? Or, just add a few more moderators? | |

| I like both ideas. Then we could catch spamperves by surprise by banning them without letting them knowing about it. | |

| I like the idea of a limitation to how many meerkats you can have in a mob; it's a good plan to prevent an overload of characters. When you have too many, that'll sometimes result in them becoming un-RPed, in the cases I've seen.
I really don't like pointing fingers to anyone, but I remember LPZ; I've RPed with her before, and that didn't last long... she was a very unfair role-player. It's sick, seeing the autohitters and role-play rapists... it's sick. :/ As for the question about KM, thank goodness, Kalahari Manor hasn't had any spammers/rapists yet. There was once when an ex-member claimed she "stalked people there", and we're oblivious to whethershe was joking or not. But either way, stalking is nothing to joke about... this is actually part of the reason that on KM, you have to join before you can see any threads or posts- for the site's protection. I don't know how much say I have considering I'm so new, but I think the moderator idea is good- spammers or perverts can join at any time, and with more moderators capable of banning, that will assure they don't stay here long when an admin is offline. |

| Ozzy, you're a valued admin of an active meerkat RP site. You have just as much input as the rest of us. | |
