Roleplay- 3rd of December

Lancaster sounds warning calls to the merrkats who have remained in the burrow, alerting them that danger is above ground.

Triscuit shivers at her uncle's warning calls. Good thing she remained in the burrow. She plans to just stick inside for the rest of the day.

Mozart is still in the burrow from the last attack she pushes herself to the front and sits with Lancaster and Ashtail .

Lancaster plants himself beside Mozart and Ashtail. He looks out the burrow entrance and warily watches the hawk circle the sky just above the burrow.

Triscuit mews in fear. She cuddles close to the adults gaurding the entrance. She hopes the hawk doesn't try to pry them from out of the burrow.

ooc- Sorry for not posting. I just have writers block right now. Pancake isn't posting in the Comets either.

ooc: It's ok. I've been having the same problem today as well. I've been taking my time with thinking of what to post. Plus and am also sort of lacking the motivation to postXD

Ashtail watches the hawk, eyes narrowed.

Lancaster sees the hawk land in a tree close to the burrow. He sighs, irritated. It looks like once again they'll be spending a while inside the burrow.

Triscuit peeps at the sound of her uncle sighing in irritation. She can't see that the hawk had landed in a nearby tree and looks at the adults warily inquired.

Snicker sits next to his sister, shaking.

Bravo stays underground with the pups.

Ariel has had her fill at the foraging party, and resting next to Tank.

Triscuit wraps her arms around Snicker in a hug, frightened. She cuddles with her brother for comfort.

Lancaster narrows his eyes and bares his teeth in frustration. The hawk doesn't appear to want to leave any time soon.

Snicker hugs his sister back, also terrified.

Jackie, Snowflake and Buckeye are completely unaware and are scanning the area at the foraging group.

Meg is relaxing in the shade also oblivious.

Ashtail swished her tail in irritation. The dumb bird... Why doesn't it go pick on something else?

Triscuit tucks her head into her brother's fur and shivers. seeing the hawk perched in the tree outside makes her think it's going to get them.

Lancaster lashes his tail and grumbles. He wants the bird to leave now so the babysitters and pups can resume their activities in peace.

Luna laid back and allowed her pups to suckle.

Bravo is in the same chamber as Luna, waiting until it's safe to emerge.

Lancaster narrows his eyes and rests his head on his paws whilst sounding an agitated sigh. The stubborn hawk won't leave!

Triscuit cuddles with Snicker to provide comfort for the both of them.

Snicker shivers and hugs his sister back.

Triscuit looks over at the burrow entrance, shivering from adrenaline and fear.

Lancaster twitches his tail getting impatient and even more agrivated.

Ashtail was growing impatient as well. If it weren't for her condition, she'd easily go out and create a distraction. But she sadly couldn't do it.

Finally, the hawk flies it's coop. Lancaster swishes his tail as if reacting with annoyed relief. He looks over his shoulder and sounds a cautious all clear call.

Triscuit relaxes when she hears that the hawk left.

Carmella acts emotionless.

Mozart sits in the burrow she looks around for her mate Azarya

Azarya emerges from a bolt hole he looks around and seeing the cost is clear runs back to the burrow his mate is in

Lancaster plucks up the courage to leave the burrow and check to see if the hawk has definately left the area. He steps out of the burrow, sniffing at the air, checking for anymore dangers that could've surfaced during the hawk's presence. He walks up the burrow slope then rises up on his hind legs and looks around warily.

Snicker calms down as well.

Jackie, Snowflake and Meg are at the foraging group, resting in the shade. Jackie still scans the area from her position.

Buckeye also remains on lookout.

Triscuit is tempted to leave the burrow but seeing her uncle scanning the area warily outside through the burrow entrance makes her feel cautious and she hesitates. It may not be 100% safe the leave the burrow yet.
