Roleplay- 3rd of December

Triscuit takes the lesson in like a sponge. She heeds Ashtail's lesson to not rebel against someone more supirior and seeing what the result was for the new female, etches it in her mind what the consequences could be. She presses into Ashtail's fur, trusting she won't pull anything that reckless again.

Lancaster also takes up sentry duty. He faces his back to Azarya's. Working together on surveying all directions of the landscape for danger will insure everyone's safty at the burrow.

Ashtail nods at Triscuit, glad she was taking this lesson seriously. It was best that these pups learned these kind of lessons, to better ensure of their future, and possibly prepare them if something like this should ever happen. She doubt anyone would even try to steal dominance from Buckeye, and Ashtail knew she could never make herself do such a thing, not after being accepted into the Willows. Not after being given this second chance. Fate was showing mercy to her at long last, after her harsh struggles in the past. All that was gone now.

Mozart is cold and cuddles up to Ashtail

Azarya spots a Meerkat and bobs his head

Rio is still asleep unaware of the meerkat nearby

Conrade watches the group , he keeps low he is bored with roving and wants to join a group one thing is stopping him Steel a bigger male looks like he also wants to join

Steel slinks closer remaining submissive

Triscuit grunts as she moves her broken leg. It still hurts alot and moving it a certain way irritates the injury. She starts to feel chilled also and sandwitches herself between Mozart and Ashtail.

Lancaster spots Conrade and Steel and bobs his head in curiosity. Seeing them acting submssive assures him they're not here to rove or cause other problems. He remains cautious though incase their submission does turn out to be a trick.

Azarya moves closer cautiously

Rio wakes up and appraoches

Mozart smiles and cuddles Triscuit

Conrade snarls he runs closer than Steel but remains submissive

Steel slinks cllser

Ashtail feels comfortable with Mozart and Triscuit, and the body heat being shared felt very nice as well. She laid her head back down, still needing much rest to fully recover her strength. Now she was in a mob, she could heal easier. She frowns as she watched Triscuit drag her broken leg. She carefully groomed the injury, hoping to ease some of the pain, while ignoring her own. At least her own injuries would heal... Triscuit's leg however, looked as if it would never heal correctly. Whatever happened that caused her leg to be in such shape... Ashtail swore she would help Triscuit in anyway she could.

Bravo watches Ashtail tend to Triscuit's injury and looks away. Too many bad memories.

Triscuit churrs in content. The warmth radiating around her created by Ashtail and Mozart helped to relax her and ease some of the pain in her leg. She winced slightly as she felt someone touch her broken leg, but soon after, the pain faded. She allows Ashtail to tend to her leg which will never be like an average meerkat's. Thanks to Linda, she'll be left with a complication that will put her at risk for predation and falling behind once she begins foraging with the group.

Lancaster watches Steel and Conrade a little amused. He found their competitiveness towards each other entertaining.

Ashtail soon stops when she saw Triscuit relax from the grooming and went back to relaxing herself. Some day, she hoped to learn what caused Triscuit's injury. All she knew was that it had to of been a horrible experience, especially at Triscuit's young age. Her leg would make her life slightly harder, and more vulnerable to predators. Ashtail twitches her tail a bit, refusing to allow any kind of danger to befall Triscuit in the future. No pup deserved what poor Triscuit was currently going through.

Triscuit rests her head on her front right arm and sighs. She's angry that she may have to live with a disability that could slow her down for the rest of her life. She was at a helpless stage when she was attacked, deaf and blind, and to this day, doesn't know who did this to her or why. She hopes to find out someday. She doesn't plan on seeking vegence but would want to find out why this particular meerkat targetted her, Snicker and Carmella. She shifts feeling disturbed. Instincts tell her the attacker was someone from inside the group but who?

Bravo starts to forage again.

Snicker stays by Triscuit, Ashtail and Mozart. He didn't know who injured him and didn't wish to. It could scare him away.

Lancaster is on edge as he scans the landscape. The series of predator scares have made him feel disturbed and paranoid. Every time his eyes meet a tree, he flinches thinking a bird of prey may fly out.

Triscuit snuggles up to her brother Snicker. She sighs. Perhaps it's best if she doesn't find out who attacked her. It could distroy her feeling of security being in the Willows group.

Ashtail feels her stomach growling a bit. Sighing, she wished she at least could forge. But getting into the burrow from the hawk attack before took whatever strength she had left. She just tries to ignore her hunger for the time being.

The warmth surrounding Triscuit created by the 2 adult females at her sides begins to lull her into a relaxed drowsy state. her eyes begin to droop, feeling the onset of tiredness.

Bravo notices Ashtail seems to be struggling a little and peeps, asking what's wrong. He's happy to help, as it will give him something to do and distract him from thoughts about his sister.

Lancaster doesn't notice Ashtail struggling as he is extremely fixated on looking out for the pups' and babysitters' safty. He's particularily fixated on a certain camel thorn tree off in the distance, the same one he was observing earlier. He's paranoid that there could be a bird of prey nesting in it.

Ashtail looked at Bravo, peeping that she was a little hungry. She didn't have the energy to really go out and forge. She was just going to tough it out for the time being.

Triscuit slips into a light sleep, unaware of Ashtail's struggles.

Lancaster narrows his eyes at the distant camel thorn tree. He shakes his head. He's being paranoid, it looks like nothing is there so he should stop worrying.

Bravo digs up a beetle and offers it to Ashtail.

Ashtail accepts the beetle and devours it happily, glad to at least have something in her stomach. She peeps a thank you to Bravo.

((OOC: This is utterly random Meyerm, but is Bravo named after Johnny Bravo? Every time I see his name, I remember that silly cartoon series. xD))

ooc- No. I was stuck on a name and starting thinking of anything that sounded like one. I chose Bravo at random.

ic- Bravo smiles faintly with a hint of grief and resumes foraging.

Azarya narrows his eyes on a distant camel thorn tree its the same one Lancaster was watching , he snarls he is certain something is in there

Mozart rolls on her back feeling relaxed her leg is healing well but is still sore from the attack

Rio starts chasing her tail shes a strange meerkat

Conrade mans up and rolls on his back in front of Azarya

Steel rolls on his back in front of Lancaster

occ : lol , they dont have to be accepted i dont care but i would prefer if Conrade was

Snicker also falls to sleep, snuggling up to his sister Triscuit and Mozart.

Lancaster peeps, assuring Azarya that nothing is in the camel thorn tree. He had closely examined the foliage and branches but didn't see anything of concern that he could see. Perhaps there still could be something to worry about he may not know is there. He shuffles his feet, feeling paranoid again. Lancaster looks over at Steel and Conrade. He accepts their prescense for now but it's not his say on whether they can stay or not.
