Ponda falls into unconsciousness... Still alive and breathing though.

Conker whimpers with worry as he watched Ponda slip into unconciousness. The Jumaa are now a mere 50 feet from the burrow. Ponda needs to hang in there, he just HAS to! Ninja would have a mental break down if he has to go through losing another child. Conker knows the proud father wouldn't be able to bare it. He'd just....cease to want to continue his own fight for survival. For his father and half siblings, Ponda needs to stay strong and pull through.

Mischka is unaware Ponda had slipped into unconciousness and is diligently scanning the area for predators, making sure they don't try to launch a preemptive attack on the mob.

At the burrow, Ninja is unaware of the Jumaa returning, as his back is turned to them, and is keeping a close watch on his children as they investigate the vegetation surrounding the burrow.

Ninji sniffs curiously at a plant root. What's this strange looking thing? She nibbles on it, curious to know what it tastes like. As she gags, it's an indication that it doesn't taste good. Yuck! She gags again, spitting dirt from her mouth.

Linda stays close, eyeing her "step son" carefully as they move.

Tyson by now has lost interest in the graves, and inspects a beetle.

Duke stays at the front.

*Velmarie sped up, sensing there was tension in the group, which could mean trouble.*

Aliya kept going. She doesn't notice Ponda slip into unconsciousness. She was more focused on getting back to the burrow. They were so close! She could faintly see the babysitters at the burrow grounds. She began to speed up, wanting to get Ponda tended ASAP.

John notices Aliya speeding up, but keeps his pace with Romeo. He couldn't let him or Ponda get hurt, not without a fight. He hopes to reach the burrow soon.

Root goes back to his sentry duty.

Petal moves away from the graves and sighs.

Conker moves briskly, desperate to get to the burrow before Ponda's condition deteriorates further and before the scent of his blood lures a predator to the Jumaa's location. Just a few more yards....He desperately hopes Ponda pulls through his awful ordeal.

Mischka is trotting behind Romeo, still diligently survailing the foreground and skies. He won't allow a predator to get their claws or jaws into Ponda or anyone else in the group. He'd give his life to ensure his fellow mob mates would survive.

Like his friend whose currently body gaurding Romeo and Ponda, Ninja is diligently scanning the burrow surroundings, making sure his children are protected at all times as they continue to explore.

Ninji tips her head to the side with curiousity at the plant root. Since she can't eat it, maybe she can play with it some how. She clamps her jaws on the root and begins pulling it, as if playng a game of tug o' war with the ground.

Phoebe was still playing with Fly, now playfully gnawing on the older pup's tail. She missed out on Root's explaination about the graves and that two belonged to two siblings she never got to see.

*Velmarie walked next to John to help guard Ponda, helping to strenthen the protective circle around the pup.*

Mischka feels more comfortable when Velmarie fills in the gap of the protective circle. Now that all sides of Romeo and Ponda are completely gaurded, there's no way a predator could get their claws or jaws in them now.

Conker looks over at Ponda every 5 seconds, fearful of the possibility he could die right before everyone's eyes at any minute.

They soon crossed the burrow grounds and Aliya felt at ease. Now they were back home, Ponda could be treated for his injuries. She just prays they weren't too late.

John feels relieved as they came onto the burrow grounds.

Root notices the forging group and looks surprised. They were home early? He gets a bad feeling and walks over to see what's going on.

Petal follows her brother, also curious of why the forging group was home early.

*Velmarie chattered to Root and Petal that Ponda was hurt, and they all needed to work together to make sure he got better.*

Fly glances over... She's immediately worried... Why are the Jumaa home so early...?

Ponda is still passed out...

Comet lies down near the entrance.

Sunbeam stays near her mother.

Mischka exhales a sigh of relief as the Jumaa arrive at the burrow. The trek back home felt like it was taking several hours instead of several minutes. His tensed muscles relax, feeling more at ease now that the mob is no longer treading across potentially dangerous ground. His thoughts about predators instantly change to Ponda's status. He glances over at the mangled pup. He's still unconcious, but still breathing. That's a relief. But there's a possibility he may not survive the night.

A feeling of relief envelops Conker as the Jumaa reach burrow grounds. Home safe at last. He sighs, relieved. But his relief is rapidly replaced with worry. Were they too late? He shifts his eyes over to Ponda, fearing the worst, but is relieved to see the young pup is still hanging in there. He's still alive! His eyes light up with joy, but he knows Ponda isn't out of the woods yet....far from it. His wounds will need to be sanitized constantly in order to prevent infection from developing. They could be looking at days of watching the poor pup fight for his life, that is, if he's strong enough to pull through his ordeal tonight.

Hearing the sound of many footsteps rapidly growing louder around the burrow, Ninja looks over to see the Jumaa returning home from foraging early. He blinks, surprised. He didn't expect them to come home until sunset. Wondering why they came back this early, he heads over to investigate.

Ninji ceases her game of tug o' war when she hears the sound of footsteps echoing in the air around burrow grounds. She discovers the souce to be the Jumaa mob. Getting to experience being out in the day light for the first time, she doesn't yet know the routine of them leaving in the morning and returning in the evening so thinks it's nothing out of the ordinary. She resumes her tug o war game.

*Velmarie looked at poor Ponda, wondering if he needed grooming, or if it would be too painful.*

Saffron walks over to ponda and sits down

ooc: Yup, that's pretty much what's occuring. Gugh, I've been lacking the motivation to post here lately. I'm getting kinda tired of RPing 4 characters in this group.

Occ-Then why dont you just just rp one in every post

ooc: It's kind of hard to do if they're all involved in a situation, such as what's occuring now in the group. I'm thinking of keeping my character limit between 1-3 for each mob.

((OOC: Smart idea. I can control a lot of characters at once because I'm used to it. But it'll also help in not getting tired and loosing motivation at the same time. x3))

ooc: I'm thinking of putting Conker up for adoption. I'm losing interest in playing him anyway. I'll have Ninji be the one to be kidnapped by a phychotic meerkat. It's crossed my mind to have that meerkat be Michael Myers. I was planning for him to attempt to kill her but someone will rescue her before he can place a claw on her. I like that idea so I'm going with that. It'll happen when she starts foraging with the group. Wow I plan for her to get into so many perilous situations O.o
