Linda watches with concern. She growls slightly at the thought that the Midnights may have succeeded in killing more. Weren't Little Boy and two of her own pups enough?

Seeing Aliya wince in her peripheral vision, Ninji ceases inspecting Ouija and looks over at the dominant female, tipping her head to the left with curiousity. As she saw Aliya gremace, she naturally feels worried for her. What's wrong with Aliya? Why is she in so much agony? She looks to Mischka for answers.

Noticing Ninji looking at him out of the corner of his right eye, Mischka glances down at her, noticing a worried expression cast on her face. She must be worried about Aliya. He bends down, nuzzling her to reassure her Aliya will be fine. Not wanting to frighten Ninji, he tells her Aliya just has a bad stomach ache. It'll pass. He does his best to hide his fear for Aliya's unborn litter, not wanting to upset the little one. He returns his worried gaze to Aliya, his heart pounding against his chest. He desperatly prays those pains aren't a terrible forewarning that her litter is going to die and hopes they turn out to be just false labor pains. There's a feeling of helplessness among the group. There's nothing anyone can do for Aliya but to comfort her and wait and hope. Hopefully Fate will show mercy and Aliya's litter will be given the chance to experience the world outside Aliya's womb.

Ninji nods, believing Mischka's explaination. Guess she ate something that just didn't agree with her. As Mischka looked away displaying an expression of deep concern on his face though, Ninji's worry intensifies. If all of the adults are distressed about Aliya's condition, it has to be something more serious than a simple stomach ache. She suddenly develops a forboding feeling. Something isn't right here.

Kinkajou looked at Ouija, he'd only just joined and was already comforting the dominant female. She smiled gratefully at him.

ooc: It's funny what can happen in a few hours here. T_T This is getting really annoying. I may just stop roleplaying in this mob altogether.

ooc: It's only getting more active it seems but I'm trying not to post as much here. (using it as a worried face)

Ponda falls asleep...

Comet glances at the dominant female with worry...

In the burrow, Ninja is sprawled out beside his seriously wounded son, the side of his head gently rested against him as a way of trying to comfort him. Every few minutes, he'd delicately groom Ponda's wounds, cleaning out loose sand and dirt from the wound openings and doing his best to ease his burning pain. He's going to do the best he can to make sure his son pulls through this terrible ordeal.

Another wave of pain courses through the female dominant and Aliya almost falls over once again. She grits her teeth, one eye still shut from the pain. She... she had to go and lay down. She could hardly keep her balance in her current condition. The sun was starting to go down anyhow, so, the mob would have to head inside soon enough.

John whines softly as he witnessed Aliya becoming more unstable with her balance. The pain was that intense? He wished that something, anything, would bring Aliya comfort. She... she didn't deserve to go through the agony she was enduring. No one did. He hopes she'll feel better soon.

Root cringed a little as Aliya becomes uneasy with her paws. Then he growls angrily under his breath. Those accursed Midnights! They possibly got away with taking more lives. But going as much as destroying unborn lives?! He trembles with rage. He'll slaughter those Midnights if anything else goes wrong with Aliya and her litter!

Petal whimpered as Aliya almost fell. It was hard to watch the compassionate Jumaa dominant female be in so much agony. And there was nothing anyone could do for her, other than attempt to comfort her. She buries her face into Root's shoulder, not wanting to watch Aliya suffer.

Ouija whined in pity. This didn't appear just at all... the female sovereign of Jumaas clearly was seen with such utmost respect and love, yet she was obviously in much physical torment. He sat down, watching her with sympathetic eyes. Well... eye, considering he was blind in one.

Comet glances at Ouija... Noticing now that he only has one eye... At least he hasn't the only one here with a physical hindrance.

Mischka emits a soft whimper of sympathy as he witnessed Aliya become debilitated by another episode of intense pain. Her condition seems to be rapidly deteriorating. It breaks his heart to watch her endure this undeserved suffering. A sense of helplessness develops inside of him, knowing there's nothing anyone can do for her but to provide her with comfort and hope she and her unborn litter will come out of this ok. It's all the damn Midnights' fault she's going through this awful ordeal! There's a possibility their dominant female, Teetsie's blow to Aliya's stomach may have resulted in claiming more Jumaa lives. If she had succeeded in murdering the pups, he'll make sure her mob gets served fatal justice.

Ninji is deeply worried for the compassionate Jumaa female leader as she witnessed her condition take a horrifying turn for the worse. What's happening to her? This CAN'T be a stomach ache. It's gotta be something much more serious. She has a nagging feeling that something is seriously wrong. She emits a dispaired whine, wishing something could be done to cure what is ailing the gregarious female dominant.

Chocolatine watches Aliya's brave struggle, her heart wracked with worry and fear for the dominant female who showed so much compassion towards Chocolatine and let her join the mob. Her face betrays her intense emotions, clearly clouded by sympathy and worry. She wants to go help her, but has no idea how, so instead stays rooted to one spot, watching Aliya closely but with grave concern.

Phoebe's eyes sting with tears as she watched Aliya almost fall over. Despite not knowing what was causing the dominant's suffering, the shy pup instinctively knew it was something terrible. She whines, a few tears escaping and dripping onto the sand. She buries her face into Linda's stomach, whining and sobbing. She couldn't bare to watch Aliya suffer.

Linda peeps calmingly to her daughter in attempts to calm her down. However, she's having trouble staying calm herself. The possibility of Aliya's litter being still born or born premature is a very real threat. There was a lot of emotional distress during her pregnancy with the litter she has now, but she was lucky enough to avoid serious injury to the litter. She can't imagine the distress Aliya may feel right now. With the rest of the mob caring for Aliya, she focuses on just keeping her own pups from having a panic attack.

Tyson hides behind his mother.

Duke chirps, feeling it's best if Aliya was to rest inside. Only fate can decide what happens now.

Aliya nods slowly, agreeing with her mate. She unsteadily walks toward the burrow, being careful with her steps. She didn't want to fall over and cause possibly further injury to her litter. Every step felt like she was walking on fire. She gritted her teeth in an attempt to keep herself from crying out. She didn't want to further worry her mob.

John braced himself, watching Aliya, ready to aid her if she was to fall. He trembled, but not in fear, but in rage. Those Midnights were behind this! He clearly remembered helping Aliya fight Teetsie... Maybe if he had been more wary, maybe he could of prevented Teetsie from biting Aliya's stomach... He shook his head. No... He couldn't blame himself. It would of been unavoidable no matter what.

Root and Petal worriedly watch Aliya, fearing she would fall over at any given moment. She was so unsteady, it felt like that. Root still trembled with rage, almost seeing red. If Aliya and the litter didn't survive this ordeal, he'll go to the Midnights territory himself and personally slaughter that mob! Petal attempted to control her emotions. She had to be strong for Aliya... Tears would do nothing to comfort the female dominant.

Mischka watches, muscles tensed and heart pounding against his chest, as Aliya unsteadily makes her way to the burrow entrance. The moment he sees her lose her balance, he won't hesitate to swiftly come to her aid. If she falls, it could inflict irreversable damage to her already imperiled unborn pups. He cringes as if it looked like she was about to collapse but relaxes as she pushes on bravely. Poor Aliya. She did nothing to deserve this. He casts an angry glance down at the ground, scraping his claws through the loose sand with rage as he imagines himself slicing into a Midnight member's stomach. The next time they see the Midnights....he then traces a claw through the sand in a fashion that looks as if he's slitting a throat....pay back!

Ninji watches, trembling with fear, as Aliya unsteadily makes her way to the burrow entrance. She can't bare to watch Aliya's suffering anymore and runs to her mother and siblings for comfort. She worries the female leader may die.

Duke helps escort his mate into the burrow, using his own body to support some of the weight if she needs help.

Linda watches Duke escort Aliya inside, and remembering her own mate tending to Ponda, heads in as well to find Ninja.

Tyson follows his mom.

Saffron Sits Down then Follows Aliya

Ninji decends into the burrow after her mother and siblings, wanting to huddle with her family for comfort.

Linda navigates through the chambers and finds the one Ninja and Ponda are in. She enters, wanting to see Ponda's condition.

Ouija remained by the yawned mouth of the burrow, sitting on his haunches in the beige sand. He clearly wished to assist his new fellow Jumaa members and help Aliya, but wasn't quite sure what to do... his heart was heavy with sorrow- everyone clearly owned metaphoric lacerations to their hearts.

Kinkajou sat next to Ouija, sighing softly. She also wanted to help Aliya, but wasn't quite sure what to do and decided to leave it to Duke. She yawned softly and looked at Ouija, smiling weakly.

Ouija glanced over to Kinkajou, having no alternative but to turn his head to the side to be eligible of seeing her; having only a single working eye could be a nuisance... He returned her smile, though his portrayal was much more hesitant and shy. After a quick contemplation, he began to groom her; in challenging times such as these, he could at least offer his new family solace.

Kinkajou smiled and churred at Ouija. She groomed him back, both of them needed comfort at the moment. But the worries still drifted over her mind.. Would Aliya be okay? What would happen to her unborn litter? And would they ever get revenge on Teetsie? Kinkajou shivered, and groomed Ouija, wanting to get the thoughts out of her head.

As he heard someone enter the chamber, Ninja looks up to see his mate standing approximately 1 foot in front of him, looking to have a worried expression cast on her face. He emits a soft peep, assuring her Ponda is stable. For now, he's resting soundly.

Mischka's rage is rapidly replaced with sorrow. He had gotten a good look at those gashes in Aliya's stomach the day of the fight. They appeared to be pretty deep. The chances of her unborn litter having recieved catostrophic damage is undoubtedly high. He fears the litter will either be still-born or will be aborted some time during the night. At the thought of this, he bends the upper half of his body down, tucking his head in between his haunches, feeling totally distraught and helpless. It's up to fate whether Aliya's unborn litter survives or dies.
