Roleplay-24th of December

Ninja looks his mate in the eyes, giving her a gratitudeful expression, thankful for her help. He pushes forward, ignoring his throbbing wounds. He succeeded living to this day so he's determined to witness his childrens' first emergance.

Ninji bounds after her brother, excited about leaving the burrow for the very first time. She wonders what the outside world looks like. She and her siblings are about to find that out very soon.

Conker's little sniffer twitches a mile a minute, picking up his pace as the stranger's scent gradually intensifies as he advances towards the east. After a few more minutes of searching, he meets up with Root, making eye contact with the source of the outsider smell. It's a meerkat. He quickly notices Comet is in terrible shape. He eyes the male sympathetically. He looks so...unheathy. It makes him realize it's easy to take living in a group for granted. That male has no one to keep him safe, help him forage or groom him. Looks like he hasn't had that luxury for a very long time. He slowly inches towards Comet, bobing his head in curiosity as he noticed his deformed leg. Like a typical child, he stares, curious as to how it ended up like that.

Aliya watches Ninja emerging, nervously. She understood why he wanted to emerge, but knew he had to be careful. Straining himself could make his wounds worse. Aliya had all but forgotten her fight with Teetsie and the bite in the stomach she had received.

Suri and Emzio also watch Ninja. They both also have concerned expressions on their faces.

Comet notices Root and Conker and freezes... He doesn't feel like running, but isn't sure of their intentions... He immediately lies down, submissive, exposing his belly... Desperate at this point.

John watched as Ninja and Linda's pups eagerly joined their parents. They were finally gonna see the world outside of the burrow for the first time. He couldn't help but smile a little. They were going to get to explore today. But... one could not be unintuitive. One false move and the pups could suffer harshly.

Root examined Comet once he was close. The poor male was covered in ticks. He felt more pity. This male had it more than rough... And his ribs was visible. Frowning, Root got to work removing the little pests that covered poor Comet. No meerkat deserved this kind of treatment.

Petal watched Ninja, hoping he wouldn't fall over.

Mischka curls his lip in concern. He worries if Ninja strains himself too hard, it may just kill him, that is if a deadly predator doesn't detect the scent of his blood and kill him first. Why is he taking a gamble with his life by wanting to expose himself to the outside dangers today? Suddenly, he remembers. Today, Linda and Ninja's pups will be making their first debute above ground. Now he understands why Ninja is so desperate to be outside. He's determined to witness his childrens' first emergance. He can't blame him for wanting to see his children emerge. It isn't an event you get to see very often and there's no garuntee Ninja will survive. This may be his last chance to witness this exciting event. For today, he'll allow Ninja to get away with being mobile, but if he needs any assistance at all through out the day, he'd be glad to help in providing him with anything he may need.

Saffron trots after Ninja incase he needs any more assistance. She just remembered today his children will be emerging, so understands his urgancy to get motivated. She won't stop him from wanting to witness his children meet their first exciting mile stone.

Conker tilts his head, more curious about Comet than wanting to inflict harm or feeling threatened by him. It's obvious he isn't a threat so there's no reason to be hostile towards him. The poor male is desperately in need of nurishment, being cleaned up, companionship, protection and a group. Wanting to help Comet, Conker approaches him in a non threatening fashion, letting the male know he won't hurt him and just wants to help.

Comet glances at Conker and chrrs softly... He's beginning to sense that they mean him no harm... He accepts Root's kind gesture but isn't quite confident enough at the moment to return the favor with grooming...

((OOC: I'd be interested in adopting one of the pups from Kumi. :3))

Phoebe nervously joins her siblings and parents going toward the burrow entrance. She was more nervous than her siblings. What was she to except? She shivers a little and continued to follow.

ooc: As I said, I'd like to as well... :3

Conker feels better knowing he and Root have gained Comet's trust. He helps relieve him of those pesky ticks which must've been latched onto him for who knows how long.

Ninji's heart rate elevates as they get closer to the burrow entrance. What will be waiting for them out there? The thrill of knowing is what makes it more exciting.

*Velmarie watched as Ninja and Linda's pups came into the daylight for the first time! It was surely a sight for them. Well here was something good that happened to the mob today already.*

ooc- The pups didn't come up yet.

ooc: At the moment, they're being led up towards the entrance.

OOC: ......

ooc: It's ok. Things happen fast in this mob. It can be hard to keep up with what's going on.

((OOC: Indeed. The Jumaa are the most active mob on the site... Then I think the Willows, Phantoms, or the Comets are the second most active.))

((OOC: Basically, everyone is waking up and such. Root and Conker have found a stranger by the name of Comet and are tending to him. Ninja and Linda are going outside with their pups, who will be emerging for the first time... I took over Kamaria for a little bit for you on the last roleplay day. She had been evicted for her crime against Kumi and I had it she took shelter in a bolthole before nightfall. Where she is now is up to you obviously.))

Kamara lay huddled in a bolthole. She was sure she was going to loose her pups.

Meanwhile, Dellie yawns and decides to emerge. She's become a ball of energy. She sees her mom and Dad and bounces around their paws, elated.

Tamiya emerges and sits on her haunches.

Phoebe watches her siblings, seeing how excited they were. She sighed. She seemed to be the only one out of her siblings to be nervous. She wasn't adventurous like her brother Tyson, a thrill seeker like her sister Ninji, and certainly not a ball of endless energy like her sister Dellie. She was the timid one. However, she knew if she stayed by her parents, she'll be safe.

Adrenaline floods Ninji's blood stream. She's pumped and excited about this moment. They've been waiting 3 long weeks for their emergance and it's finally here! She can't wait to explore what lays beyond the Jumaa's home.

Linda comes above ground and looks around to make sure it's safe, and confident it is, she comes back down and waits for the pups to come towards the entrance. She'll help them out.

Tyson gets excited as the bright, mysterious entrance comes into view. He has no idea how vast it is outside.

occ: Wayyyyyyy to much posts guys! D:

Kinkajou emerged slowly and solemnly, her eyes and expression were blank. She looked at Mischka and snuffled slightly.

Mistymae emerged and bounced around happily.

occ: Anyone want to cover Sunbeam?

ooc: Ack! Ignore my first post guys... I didn't check how old the pups were. xD

*Velmarie waited for the pups to emerge.*

Ninja carefully climbs up the burrow slope, digging his claws into the incline and delecately inching himself closer to the top, doing his best to avoid straining himself. Once he reaches the top, he squints his eyes, not used to the brightness of the outside after spending a week in the dark. Eventually, his eyes become adjusted to the change in light, so, he pins his focus on making sure it's safe before allowing his and Linda's pups to get a taste of the beautiful landscape that surrounds their home. Satisfied to see there's no danger in the vicinity, Ninja lowers himself down to the burrow entrance, ignoring the burning pain his movement generates. He's eager to help his mate escort their children into the outside world despite the amount of discomfort he's in.

Ninji squeals in excitement as the distance between her litter and the bright entrance shortens. Almost there! She picks up the pace, eager to be the first to see what lies beyond the mysterious light.

Saffron follows at the back of the excited litter, assigning herself to the task of helping any pup that ends up having trouble conqouring the steep burrow slope alone.

Mischka hurries to the entrance, carefully squeezing past the litter so as to not step on them and inflict unintentional injury. Once he emerges, he surveys the area, making sure the atmosphere around the burrow is pup friendly. Happy to see it is, despite the tranquility, he assigns himself as a setinal, positioning himself a mere foot from the entrance. He'll make sure the pups remain safe during their exciting emergance.
