Roleplay - 28th of August, 2009

Ages of those under one year:
Lewa ....... 7 months and 23 days.

Due Dates:
Stripe and Vardi's litter....... Due 1st of September.
Running Star's and Wagner's litter........ due 1st of September.

Stripe emerged. She looked a bit awkward, her stomach was large and it was making her unbalanced. She sat down, and watched the horizon.

Streak woke up. The injury in his leg had subsided, but it was still swollen. He rose himself out of teh burrow and dropped lazily onto the cool morning sand.

Stripe waddled over to where Streak lay. She chirped, and lay down.

Running Star exited the burrow, and stood up. She almost lost her balance, but managed to keep herself upright. She was eager to get out foraging, but waited for the others to be ready.

Stripe chirped to Running Star. She was ready.

ooc: Do you mind me asking how many pups there will be in Running Star's litter?

ooc: Four

Running Star started off from the burrow. She was hungry, but could only go so fast. She was very cautious to scan every so often to be sure that there was no danger. She saw nothing remarkable.

ooc: Cool thanks.

bic: Stripe followed, eager to get foraging. She was very hungry.
Lewa also followed, bounding along happily.

Lewa stops bounding with the group and bounds ahead, laughing loudly in a meerkat way, his bright green eyes gleaming.

Stripe chirped to Lewa. Don't wonder off!

Lewa turned around and tilted his head.

Stripe chrred. It was dangerous for a young pup to be out on his own.

Lewa runs back, his eyes gleaming.

Streak, his protective side outshining his injury, runs over to Lewu and protects him. he leads him to the rest of the group. The injury in his leg was subsiding, and Streak could resume daily group duties.

Lewa looks up at Streak with a smile.

Stripe watches Streak and Lewa with a smile. She was starving, though, and started to forage. She soon caught a millipede which she ate hungrily.

Streak chirps to Lewu and smiles to Stripe. He was hungry too.

Stripe smiled, and continued foraging. But every now and then, her digging would stop so she could look at the skies, which gave enough time for her prey to escape.

Running Star's hunger made her dig ferociously. She caught a millipede, and ate it without pausing. She then caught a scorpion, and ate it. She cast a worried glance at Lewu, knowing that once the pups arrived, he would need to help out more.

Stripe caught a small grub, but instead of eating it, she placed at Lewas's feet.

Streak stood on his bad leg. He thught he heard chriping not so far away.

Stripe looked up at Streak. Was everything alright?

Lewa peeps a thanks and eats the grub... He glances at Running Star and tilted his head.

Streak climbed up on a tree and looked into the distance. There, he saw the Twizzlers foraging. He chired to his family.

Stripe looked up. She chrred nervously, and looked over to Running Star. What should they do?

Running Star looked at the Twizzlers, then decided to try to sneak home before they were seen. She chirped softly, but urgently, to the others to get them to follow her. The extra weight from her pregnancy made it difficult to go fast, so she kept hidden as much as she could.
