Roleplay - 6th of September

Alex also begins to forage, and so does Luke. Luke has a little more luck than Alex does, and soon catches a large scorpion.

Starburst eats her millipede.

At the burrow Akina is thankful that she survived the encounter with these strangers. Even though she is hungry she decides not to pester Hershey for food. She was lucky enough to be alive, she thought it was best if she didn't push it.

Joey sees no sign of the eagle.

Akina lies on her stomach, trying to ignore the hunger. She looks around, she is used to having littermates there to play with her, now she is not only really hungry, but really bored.

Alex eventually caught himself a millipede.
Luke looked up and froze. He thought that he had just seen something, but upon further inspection he decided that his mind was playing tricks on him.

Joey climbs down after a while and nods to Luke. Your turn. Then he starts digging and finds a millipede. after rolling it in the sand, he eats it.

Akina eventually falls asleep. In her dream she saw a memory. A memory that she will never forget, it took place only a week ago. She was in a burrow with three other pups and the babysitter. She could hear growls and chatters, it was a burrow raid. The other group was also wild and was attacking her family burrow. They suddenly pulled out one of her littermates, and killed him. Akina woke up with a squeal of fear. She breathed heavily and layed her head in the sand, it was just a dream.

Unaware of the going ons at home, Starburst continued foraging.

Hershey had taken a cat nap when she was startled by Akina's squeak. She reassured her with some tender grooming, then led her above ground. Hershey went around the burrow, and then found a millipeded. She cut it up and have half to the starving pup.

Akina sniffed the millipede then slowly took a bite. She liked the taste and continued eating her half.

Starburst decided that they should head home soon, but would wait a little longer.

Luke nodded and climbed ontop of the bush.
Alex sat up, feeling a little uneasy. He shook it off and continued to forage.

Starburst decided it was time and made lead calls.

Luke jumped down and followed Starburst.
Alex also followed.

Starburst headed out. It was up to the others to follow.

Joey followed Starburst.

Luke and Alex follow Starburst.

Joey chirped to the rest of the group just in case they didn't hear Starburst.

Starburst eventually reached the burrow, whether the others had followed or not.

Akina looked up at the adults and chirped a Hello.

Joey chirped back to Akina.

Starburst didn't pay attention to the pup.

Hershey chirped to the returning family. She then began to nurse Akina. Being pregnant had its advantages. Soon, Akina would have many pups to play with.

Starburst nods to Hershey. Since they were low in numbers and with so many pups due, eviction was not an option.
