Rolepay - 15th of September

Karma remains in a deep sleep undisturbed by the Tiny Kat members entering the burrow 1 by one but shifts herself again and unknowingly moves her against Splash.

Splash nearly jumped out of her skin as Karma rubbed against her side. Still not quite used to living in the unfamilier family, she panics, and bolts out.

Unaware that she spooked Splash, Karma remains asleep.

Stratus's head jerked up when he saw Splash bolt out of the burrow.

Bahiya saw Splash and slowly got up and followed curiously.

Feeling like crying, Splash looks up at the starry sky, trying to stop the tears from falling. (I do that sometimes...)

Stratus shakes his head sadly, poor thing, she must really not like us, he sighed and layed his head down.

Bahiya heard Splash struggling to hold back tears and frowned feeling sorry for Splash, she let out a small, barely audible peep to Splash, so she wouldn't startle her.

Karma suddenly spooks herself awake with a loud snore and realizes Splash is not in the burrow. She chirps (Hey where's Splash? She hasnt come below ground yet?). Karma decides to go above ground to check on Splash but when she emerges she finds Splash with Bahiya, crying and looking up at the sky. Karma approaches Splash and chirps (Hey what's the matter?)

Bahiya shot Karma a glare.

Karma frowned and peeped (What'd i do?)

Bahiya peeped back, you know she doesn't trust us, you'll scare her!

Karma suddenly felt guilty. She must've done something to Splash that spooked her when she was sleeping. Karma lowered her head feeling sad for Splash and peeped softly (I'm so sorry that I scared you I didnt mean too really)

Bahiya still didn't know that Splash wasn't born into the Tiny Kats, she gently and sweetly peeped to Splash, tell us, please, tell us why you're so sad, you're killing us with this, please, we only want to help, keeping it all locked up inside you won't help the least bit.

Splash glanced at Karma. She nodded slowly. It wasn't your fault... Slwoly she made her way back to the burrow.

As Bahiya asked the question, Splash turned around. I am not from here. I have no family left. I was once a Willow. But, I was left for dead. So now I stay, in a place where I am practically a stranger.

ooc: You should know that Splash's family was practically slaughtered. That's where most of her nervousness comes from.

Bahiya gave Splash a sad, yet deeply caring look, she quietly peeped to her, I see now why you are so timid, I know how you feel, I just joined this group, and I may end up kicked out before I really got a chance to know the group because... well, the point is, I felt more comfortable when I saught a friend, one I could trust, like Karma, I found a good friend in her and I just met her, you should at least try to do the same.

Karma wants to also help Splash break out of her little bubble but to do so she'll have to be patient and careful about how she acts around her. Karma smiles as Splash accepted her appology. She over hears Splash's story about why she's slow to warm up to other meerkats and frowns (aww poor thing no wonder why she's so scared)

Splash wanted to try to trust them, but it was harder for her than the may have thought. She trusted one above the others, and that was Cloud Catcher.

But Bahiya's approach was extremely comforting, and Splash felt she had another she could trust. (maybe adoption is an option? x3)

Bahiya noticed she might possibly be getting through to Splash and smiled warmly, she made sure her voice only said one thing, "you don't have to be afraid of me, I would never hurt you, not ever." She showed every sign of honesty.

Karma sees that Splash is starting to trust Bahiya more and hopes she'll soon gain her trust too and hopes she gains trust of the rest of the group. Like Bahiya, Karma had been outcasted by her group but she easily trusts other meerkats but knows how Splash must feel. Karma was also left to fend for herself knowing she'd be facing certain death. It suddenly brought back memories of her ruthless sister Jade and her ex-group. She growls (I'll never forgive her again)

Bahiya heared Karma growl, and ignored it, she wasn't taking any risks when it came to the possibility of gaining Splash's trust, to her Splash's trust would be like the ulimate acomplishment in her time at the Tiny Kats so far.

Karma abruptly stops her growl knowing that it could spook splash. She glances at Splash and gives her a reassuring smile(I'll do my best to try to help you feel more comfortable. Hurting you would be the last thing I'd ever want to do. I would never forgive myself)

Splash nodded, she knew that she was rather safe, it was more her discomfort and the unfamiliarities that made her so nervous.

Bahiya smiled and peeped, come on, it's late, you're a growing pup, you need your rest, she gently stepped toward the entrance stepping passed Splash.

Karma yawns and decides to head back below ground to sleep.

Bahiya gestured her head to signal Splash to follow as she stepped in after Karma.

Splash nodded and followed.
