Roleplay - 19th September

Morning Glory padded beside Stratus and nuzzled him caringly after his kind thoughts about Chris. Her sandy fur around her face and upper body was covered with scarlet patches likely to be the transfer of Chris’s blood from Cyan. Feeling guilty that she was responsible for not sticking to the Blizzard’s dominant female during the fight, Morning Glory padded away from the group knowing she would constantly be reminded of her mistake by the misshapen structure that was all that was left of her right ear.

Nobody felt more guilty then Nimbus. He had let the monster kill Chris. He would get revenge. He turned his head, hiding the tears.

Karma stares at Chris' body with a sad gaze then looks down at her belly. She's carrying Chris' pups and his legacy shall live on in them.

Catching a glimpse of Nimbus’s sad eyes Morning Glory followed him hoping to provide him some comfort and an opportunity for them both to share their grief.

Hearing the sound of Cyan’s lead calls, Va chirped and stood on her small back legs before looking back at the elder meerkat beside her and dropping back on all fours. I’m doing my best father she begged chattering and acting submissive.
If there was any meerkat she held a decent amount of respect for, it was for Gahdok.

Before leaving, Gahdok nodded and ran off, smiling inside at the sight of his nasty daughter.

Stratus saw morning Glory going over to his brother, he turned back to the body of Chris, his road truely had come to an end.

Bahiya moved closer to Karma and started to groom her comfortingly.

Karma had seen the contact between Va and Gahdok and eyes Va curiously. Does she know that meerkat? She decides not to think about it. She accepts the comfort grooming from Bahiya and grooms her back trying to hold back tears as she glanced at Chris' dead body.

Seeing Gahdok run off into the grass, Va dropped her head and headed back towards the direction of the burrow.

Bahiya thought about what Cheyenne would think if she found out about what happened to Chris, she tried not to think about that.

Pamela looks at Karma sadly. Losing someone you love can be the most painful of things.

Nimbus nuzzled with Morning Glory, thankful for the comfort. But they needed to move on. It wasn't safe here and it was getting late.

Karma looks back at Pamela whimpering(I had just started to have feelings for him and now he's gone. It's terrible. Why did Chris have to die so soon?) She lowers head then suddenly remembers Cheyenne. How will she react when/if she finds out Chris is dead? She pads over to a nearby bush to do some thinking.

Pamela lowers her head. Sometimes things happen that we have no control over. I wish I could change things for you.

Morning Glory gentle groomed Nimbus and agreed that maybe going back to the burrow was the best idea. Not wanting to see the remains of Chris’s beaten body; she called out to the group letting them know she was leading the group home.

Stratus followed, his head held low.

Bahiya truges slowly following Morning Glory's calls.

Karma mews softly (That's true what happened, happened and it can't be reversed. We'll just have to move on eventually) Karma hears Morning Glory's lead calls and follows her with her head and tail low in a somber mood. She forces herself not to look back at Chris' dead body.

Nimbus takes one last look at the fallen soldier, bows his head, and follows Morning Glory.

Morning Glory continued to slowly walk in the direction of the burrow with her head held low. They’d get their revenge on the Blizzards when the group was back up to full strength.

Va followed the lead calls and eventually came across the body of Chris. It was a shock at first to the small meerkat but she had seen and heard stories that ended much worse from working in the service of the Great Makuta.
Bobbing her head, she signalled a goodbye and trotted away. That was the just the harsh nature of living in the desert.

Back near the entrance of the burrow, Sanders softly mewed to himself as his stomach rumbled. Determined to make it up the slope he tried again, half walking and half shuffles.

Splash followed Sanders slowly.

Peeping triumphantly, Sanders reached the top of the slope and looked out at the unfamiliar world around him. So bright..and so warm.

Splash chirped worryingly. She would never had been so brave. You shouldn't be up here, you'll incinerate.

Tentatively, Sanders lifted one of his small paws and went to place it down in front of him but heard Splash’s warning. But Badru is.. he squeaked stopping short to pant feeling the heat

Splash closed her eyes and looked away. Badru... Badru is gone.

Sanders looked back at Splash with wide concerned eyes..She wouldn’t lie to him but he couldn’t quite bring himself to believe that his brother was gone for good.
