Roleplay - 23rd of September

Pamela heads off nervously and starts peeping for Morning Glory.

Karma continues her contact calls even though her throat is starting to get sore.

Noticing the calls were getting louder, Morning Glory dashed a few paces towards the sound and stood tall again. Answering the contact calls with several small barks she waits for a reply.

Tired from calling, Tisca rubbed her paw against her nose and sneezed.

Karma pauses her contact calls and listens intently for a response from Morning Glory. She catches wind of her faint barks and peeps in excited relief then chirps to the meerkats in the search party(I think it's her it has to be!) Karma pads a few steps foward and tries to make more contact calls but all that comes out are raspy sounding churrs. Her throat is burning and she can't call anymore.

Antabellum tries to stand up. A searing pai rips through her paw. She wobbles, then falls back in the sand.

Pamela hears Morning Glory's reply and starts running in the direction of her calls, peeping loudly in response.

Faeya grooms Antebellum. Nimbus follows Pamela and calls as lous as he can for Morning Glory.

Karma looks back at Antabellum and frowns in concern. she wants to look for Morning Glory but refuses to leave Antabellum to fend for herself. She pads back over to Antabellum and loyally stands gaurd over her waiting for Pamela to lead Morning Glory to the search party.

Pamela is relieved to see Nimbus is there and keeps calling.

Karma scans the area and skies on edge knowing that an injured meerkat could attract a predator at any moment.

Splash is confused and frightened.

Nimbus continues to call out, hearing the faintest replies in the distance.

Bahiya pads over to Splash and grooms her.

Stratus stands and makes contact calls for Morning Glory.

Following her ears, Morning Glory worked her way through the scrub towards the sound of the contact calls stopping occasionally to check the skies.

Bored back at the burrow, Va slinked away into the grass looking for the ground squirrels to torment.

As she keeps a look out for danger near Antabellum, Karma starts up her contact calls again feeling that her throat has gotten a little bit better.

Becoming even more concerned about the growing situation, Tisca sniffed Antabellum and trotted several steps into the scrub before returning to stand guard.

Karma looks down at Antabellum and whimpers. She nudges her trying to get her to stand up.

Pamela keeps calling for Morning Glory.

Nimbus spots movememnt in the grass ahead. He alerts the group.

Stratus looked around hearing Nimbus's alert.

Antabellum tries to stand up again. She falls, smacking her jaw against a rock. Antabellum screams in pain, but is relived when she doesn't hear the crack of her bones breaking.

Splash whimpers beside Antebellum with sympathy.

Bahiya rushed over with hereyes wide she chirped, are you alright?

Antabellum shook her head weakly. Chris, where ever you are, help me!


ooc: Antabellum was DF with Chris before Cheyenne, she had two litters, her second being very large, and while she was recovering cheyenne overthrew her. Cheyenne had three litters with Chris before the one she's currently carrying, which out of six only two survived in the first, all four in the second, and three out of seven in the last. Cheyenne had her litters over very long periods of time, usually six months or so apart. So, when Cheyenne became pregnant shortly after the seven litter, Aspen, Antabellum's eldest daught overthrew her, leading with a rover named Drew from a fictinal mob of mine.

Splash's eyes are clouded with fear, once again thinking of her past. She thinks this female is going to die.
