Roleplay - 23rd of September

Karma notices Antabellum's sad expression and chirps softly(Hey what's the matter? Have you lost someone too?)

Pamela looks at Antebellum.

Splash glances over as well.

As not to arouse suspicion Va lay down on the sand with her head still overlooking the hole with young Sanders at the bottom trying to scamper up the slope.

Having ignored Va’s first comment Sanders stopped climbing and panted, losing his footing he tumbled back to the bottom.

Pity..Va snorted mockingly with gleaming eyes as she watched Sanders recover from his tumble. I’d give up now if I were you, weak things belong curled up in a dark corner or even better...Va paused without finishing her growl, she didn’t want to reveal the word dead or her intentions just yet.

Naively, Sanders took the bait and barked back at Va.. I’m stronger than my sister and I’m going to find Badru!!. Gritting his tiny teeth determinedly, he began to climb the slope once again.

Grinning from ear to ear, how the wicked plot developed in Va’s mind.. maybe she could take him to the Blizzards and get him brought up like Cyanide. Then he'd be perfect to join the worthy cause for the great lord of the desert.

Antabellum watched Va.

Faeya saw Va, the Sanders. She ran over to the pup, picked Sanders up, and brought it to the other side of the burrow and began to groom him.

Nimbus watched the action unfold.

Seeing Faeya intervene, Va cursed to herself with a growl..Beetles! and quickly got up and skitted away into the grass. It was still early days for her scheming plan.

Sanders wriggled as Faeya began to groom him.

Antabellum sat up, prepared to fight Va.

Morning Glory rolled her eyes as Va disappeared out of sight she could catch up with the group if she wanted to. Standing on her hind legs she began to issue lead calls to announce to the group that they were moving out to start the day’s foraging.

Antabellum followed Morning Glory.

Splash followed slowly.

Bahiya followed Morning Glory.

Antabellum began to dig slowly.

Karma follows eagerly ready to take on what the day may bring.

Pamela follows quickly.

Nimbus follows, leaving Faeya behind to watch the pups.

Splash decides to instead stay home again.

Hearing Morning Glory’s lead calls, Va remained ignorant and continued to stalk the baby ground squirrels that were feeding in the open. Cautiously, she slinked closer until one of them had its back to her.. Seeing the threat, one of the adult ground squirrels squealed an alert call and for Va the chase was on.

Stratus followed close behind Morning Glory not noticing Va's hunting attempt.

Faeya walks over to Splash and begins to groom her. It was the two of them today.

Having been left as Faeya went to groom Splash; Sanders stood up on his little legs and wandered around underground hoping to find another way out of the burrow complex.

Karma follows close behind Morning Glory, unaware of Va's hunting attempt.

Splash glanced around nervously.

Pamela is unaware of Va trying to attack the ground squirrel and keeps following.

Snarling as she pounced, Va pinned the young ground squirrel to the ground and held its tiny neck between her jaws listening to it squeal for mercy. Exhausted from crying the ground squirrel went limp in the meerkat’s jaws and began to pant hard, feeling the strength slowly slip away from the creature Va dropped it to the floor and walked away..it was lucky it hadn’t met the Great Lord, he wouldn’t have hesitated. Death would have been the only outcome.

Disappointed by her own actions, Va padded back to the territory around the burrow and watched the outline of Faeya grooming Splash in front of the main entrance. With the suspicious eyes all out foraging maybe now was her chance to nab the young pup.

Away from the burrow, Morning Glory continued to lead the group to an unused patch of foraging ground on the edge of their territory. It was further north than she had remembered but at least it was away from any of the other larger mobs in the research area.
