Roleplay - 23rd of September

Snowflake digs up a bombador beetle and quickly kills it and eats it before it shoots out it's burning gas defense.

Jackie finishes drinking and gets back to foraging.

Tank stands sentry near Maylene.

Buckeye relaxes in the shae and watches her family enjoy the trough.

Miley begins to forage agin, unaware of roving eyes. Crash is nearby, but he is too busy grooming other family members to notice.

Verniece begins to lap up some water as Hutch takes a cat nap next to Buckeye and Keeko.

Glade enjoys the play time. She chirps for Josephine to lead her a little further away from the burrow.

Maylene began to wonded off but idn't go too far but was unknowningly nearing some rovers that were coming her way.

Tank follows Maylene. If any rovers appear he'll defend her fiercely.

Maylene then unnoticed by the group and Tank jumped into some bushes and began to travel even further.

Tank continues to follow maylene. He stands on his hind legs and notices they've ventured quite far from the group. If they venture any further, they could end up getting lost leaving them exposed to predators or they could find themselves in a rival group's territory. Tank barks to Maylene warning her that she's venturing dangerously far from the group.

Linda rotated every few minutes so she could get a 360-degree view of the landscape. She was focusing on finding predators now, but if a rover came in her sights she will surely spot him.

Maylene hears Tank's calls and decides to head back a little but stays hidden in the bushes. She also makes sure that Tank doesn't see her or watch her.

Jackie is unaware of Tank's and Maylene's absence and chows down a beetle.

Snowflake goes to an ant nest and starts eating the ants that come out.

Linda barked to the others saying that she was leaving sentry post. She went over towards the others and began foraging. She dug up a millipede and rubbed the slime off. She then ate it at leisure to savor the flavour.

Jackie hears Linda and decides to stand sentry in her place. She goes over to a termite mound and stands on it.

Snowflake watches Jackie and follows her, ants still biting his ankles.

Maylene then snuck back into the group and came back unnotied by everyone. She was a little irritated by Tank and was trying to avoid him a little.

Snowflake also climbs up the mound and sits next to Jackie.

Jackie smiles and nuzzles Snowflake.

Maylene decides to stay on the edges of the group and also lets Tank know that she's not interested in his company at the moment.

Standing to her feet and wobbling to shake the sand out of her fur, Josephine looked back at Glade and called out to Lancaster. Did he want to join them and bring the other pups or stay behind?

Enjoying his freedom in the morning’s sunshine Dusk wanders through the grass and sniffs out a scorpion for quick breakfast snack.

Buckeye grabs a quick bite as her family foragers around her.

Glade looks to Lancaster for his answer.

Maylene then having had gone to the other side of the group she jumps into some bushes and then continued walking off, slowly of course.

Linda layed down after having her fill and rested for a little bit. She then got up and began exploring. She started wondering away from the rest and explored around. She stood and looked around every so often just to be safe.

Lancaster gets on to all 4s and peeps back to Josephine, willing to join her, Glade and the pups.

Tank has followed Maylene even further from the group. He pauses and stands on his hind legs to check to see if the Willows are still in sight but this time when he looks back, they're no where in sight. He chirps worriedly and scans the area. They've ventured into uncharted territory. He peeps to Maylene. It seems they've gotten themselves lost.

Josephine chirped excitedly and headed out in front to lead the mini adventure with her tail held high. Taking a few steps she looked back over her shoulder and called to the young pups hoping they were following. Catching a glimpse of Lancaster she smiled.

Lancaster follows behind Josephine with a feeling of excitement flowing through his body. It brought back memories of his puphood when Tank would lead him and their littermates on mini adventures. He smiles back at Josephine then looks back at the burrow chirping reassuringly to coax the pups to follow.

ooc- Maylene is nowhere near Tank now and is actually close to the group

Glade followed, calling for her brothers and sisters to follow.

Buckeye began to make lead calls. She wanted to move them to a new area. She chirped, making sure they all stayed together.

Verniece and Hutch stayed close by, keeping an eye out for the missing Willows and predators.

Miley and Crash also followed.

Tank notices Maylene up on a bush then sees the group through some tall grass. He sighs realizing that he was following Maylene in a circle around the group. Tank hears Buckeye's lead calls and pads through the tall grass heading back to the group.
