Roleplay - 23rd of September

Akina poked her head out of the burrow, with all the strange new meerkats around, she thought it would be nice to have another one that she doesn't feel on edge around. She peeped to.

Carnation smiles at Akina and peeps softly, not knowing that she's the pup her and Mikeyal had agreed to search for.

Suddenly Akina noticed that her sister was nowhere to be seen. She looked around and chirped calling out for Mikeyal hoping that she was nearby, Mikeyal, Mikeyal, Mikeyal! She looked around nervously and ran over to Hershey and peeped, where is Mikeyal? She hadn't seen her since the burrow raid and hoped that the group didn't put an end to her like they did her brother.

Starburst accepts Carnation by lightly hipslamming her before glancing at Akina. She.. she isn't here. We don't know what happened to her.

Carnation flinches as she is lightly hipslammed then calms down realizing no one harmed her. She sighs then smiles. She's faced her fear of meeting new meerkats but it'll take a while before she fully feels comfortable around them. Carnation peeps softly thanking Starburst for letting her into the group. Carnation notices Akina panicing and running around the group calling for Mikeyal. She looks at the pup confused.

Starburst chrrs sadly to Carnation. Akina's sister Mikeyal along with Ussul, disappeared shortly after Akina and Guuko did.

Carnation whimpers and lowers her head(Ohno. I hope they're ok. Then this pup who was running around, is she Akina? If so how'd she find her way back here?) She eyes the pup curiously.

Starburst shook her head. Akina was taken in a burrow raid, Guuko went after her.. I don't know how Akina came back, or what happened to Guuko. We don't know what happened to Ussul and Mikeyal.

Akina stopped and sat down feeling panicked, but knew to stay calm, but she couldn't help it, she thought to herself, No! It's happened again! She lied down. Had she lost another sibling?

Carnation pads over to Akina and grooms her to try to calm her nerves. She reassuringly chirps(It's ok. I'm sure your siblings are alive and well out there some where. I know we'll find them soon)

Akina shook her head, no, Mikeyal is my only sibling in this group, and I witnessed my brother killed at our former mob, I just hope she didn't end in a similar way.

Kal smirks when he sees how jumpy Carnation is.

Carnation whimpers hearing Akina's sad story then lowers her head in guilt(Oh that's so sad. I really do hope Mikeyal's ok. This is all my fault. I had agreed to help her look for you a few days back but I let my fear take over me and backed out. Because of that she's out there all alone and vulnerable. I'm so sorry)

Akina looked down and peeped, it's not your fault, besides, I'm kinda getting used to this feeling.

Joey just glanced at the sky. He felt that even though he and Starburst had mated, she didn't have feeling for him, she just wanted to be with Luke. He knew he was going ungroomed this morning.

Akina looked to Joey noticing how ditessed he looked, she decided it was time to bring out her now somewhat famed heart-warming. She padded over to Joey and chrrd to him softly, what's the matter? She smiled sweetly and innocently at him.

Joey sat down in the sand.

Not getting an answer Akina tilted her head. (she doesn't know it, but it makes her look really cute X3)

Carnation smiles at Akina relieved to know she wasnt upset about her backing out on her sister but becomes determined to help her find her sister Mikeyal. This time she's determined to not let her fear get the best of her. She notices Joey looking up sadly at the sky and looks at him, her heart suddenly heavy.

Flare lies down and yawns looking over to the dominant male looking kinda down, she narrowed her eyes slightly, he shouldn't be so upseat, he had anything a male could meerkat could ask for, dominance, a family, a mate, what could possibly make him feel so down.

Turahn nodded, agreeing and understanding his sister's comments.

PK sits next to Turahn and Flare and also nods in agreement with Flare.

Joey looked at Akina, a small smile on his face. It's Starburst. Yes, we mated, but I think she would rather have Luke and... Joey trailed off. Why was he telling this to a pup?

Akina looked to the sand, she didn't understand why Starburst would want Luke. Sure, he was a nice meerkat, but Joey had given a lot to the group, and to Starburst. For the first time, she found herself not knowing how to cheer him up. She just smiled sweetly, and peeped, I'm sure she wants you more than any other meerkat, besides, it's the dominant female who chooses whether she mates with a certain male or not right? And she chose you, so I think you have good chances. She felt confident that might work.

Carnation pads over to Joey. She looks to Flare Turahn and Akina. They're true about Joey's possition in the group so he shouldnt have anything to be unhappy about. Carnation looks back to Joey with a reassuring appearance in her eyes.
