Roleplay - 10th of October

ooc: No problem, starting out with so many characters, I'd get confused to.

bic: Starburst saw he wasn't a rover, so she didn't do anything, if he wanted to join, he'd have to be accepted by the new "dominant male."

Carnation forages under the safe refuge of a thick bush. She believes she should be safe from aerial predators if she stays under the dark shadows of foliage hanging above her. Feeling a burst of energy come to her, Carnation furiously digs into the ground and finds herself a millipede. She slowly drags it across the ground then eats it slowly.

Having been a long while since Akina has had someone to play with akina decides to play with an adult. She sees her adoptive father Alex, she bounds over, playfully running around him while he forages.

Carnation leaves the shelter of the thick bush and ventures into a small patch of tall grass to forage safely in. She catches a cricket in her mouth and eats it quicker than the other morsels she's been eating.

Back at the burrow Erevu was feeling bored. He also decided to have fun with an adult.

He looked at Flare and pounced on her playfully.

Flare wasn't really interested in playing, she was too busy keeping lookout.

Erevu's shoulders sagged. He looked at Skittles and bounded over, wondering if she wanted to play.

OOC: who is the dominant male right now?

ooc: Iron Wood.

Suddenly a bird shaped shadow casts over Carnation. She gasps and looks up at the sky. A martial eagle! A meerkat's arch flying enemy. She whimpers afraid to leave the shelter of the tall grass. If she takes a risk to leap out into the open to make a mad dash for the burrow, the large bird of prey could spot her and would have no problem plucking her tiny fragile body off the ground. Plus she's afraid that she may not be able make it in time to the burrow fast enough.

Zeth glanced around the mob and grinned, oh yes, this was his new home.

Seeing a martial eagle in the distance, Flare makes an alarm bark and rushes the pups below ground as a precaution.

erevu does as Flare says and goes below.

Carnation keeps her eyes locked on the martial eagle as it sores high above looking for unwary or weak prey. She's tempted to make a run for the burrow but is frozen in fear and fears she may not make it.

PK watches the eagle. He realises Carnation isn't there. He looks for her, willing to risk his life for another member.

Kal watches Zeth. He looks over at Iron Wood to see what he'll do.

Sacha also watches Zeth with interest.

Oria watches the eagle with narrowed eyes.

Zeth glared at the eagle as if he was already a member of the mob.

Carnation sees her chance to dash for the burrow when the martial eagle sores in another direction. With it's vigilant eyes off her location, she bolts, running as fast as she can to the burrow but when she's a meer 5 ft away she slips and falls, sliding across the ground. Sliding along the hot burning sand stings her wounds and the excruiciating pain stuns her. She lets out a groan as the pain shoots through her wounds. She is in too much pain to make it into the burrow.

Confused and taken back by the swift change in leadership and the affect of meerkat politics, Hershey resorted to helping feed the pups. She stayed close to Alex, not wanting to lose him.

Despite her body being racked with pain, Carnation hurries to her feet and dashes into the burrow. She breaths a sigh of relief as she managed to get to shelter without the martial eagle noticing her in her fragile state.

Starburst saw that it was getting late and made lead calls and headed back toward the burrow.

Akina glanced over her shoulder at the others before following.

Flare was watching the martial eagle intensly.

Erevu was feeling tired to he soon dozed off in a dark part of the burrow.

PK dives into the burrow and watches the eagle from inside the entrance.

Sacha follows Starburst.

Kal also follows.

ooc: WOAH WOAH WOAH Hey, AllysonIsBella, I hope you know we already had a new DM planned out. LUKE. Check the other thread. Just since Dispy isn't here doesn't mean that our plot means nothing anymore. So, if you don't beleive me, check the other thread. Because Dispy, Kusuma, yoshkat, and I agreed on Luke being the DM.
Sorry for the freak out, but well, it pisses me off when people ignore plans set in stone.

ooc: Maybe she can have Iron Wood fight Luke for top spot and loose to him?

ooc: Oh no, that won't happen, I talked to Pancake and I know what will happen... PM you about it.

Feeling her pain subside, Carnation plucks up the courage to check to see if the martial eagle is no longer in the area. She struggles to her feet, almost falling over a few times but manages to find the strength to stay up on her legs. She limps up towards the burrow entrance, using the tunnel wall as her support. She reaches the burrow entrance and peeks her head out of the burrow. She nervously scans the sky while shaking uncontrollably from pain and fear. She sees no sign of the martial eagle and her heart rate starts to slow down. Carnation chirps an all clear to the babysitters and pups below ground.

PK follows Carnation and sighs of relief.

ooc: Heh heh... Sorry guys... I might be able to roleplay a little now but I'll have to go gradually... Starting with Grovyle of course... ^^'

Maybe a couple others here and there but mainly Grovyle...
