Roleplay- 23rd October

Running Star leads her group in the direction of the Zippers/Oreos border. With most of their territorial food supply running low the Zippers may have to risk plundering through other groups' food supplies to get enough prey to keep them strong through the winter. Now that she's pregnant with a litter she's willing to take that risk if that's what it's going to take to be able to support her litter.

Alfonso is enthralled with his playfight with Faith to notice any signs of the Zippers gradually leaving the burrow. He rolls around on his back churring with excitement as Faith paws him.

Peachy gradually moves away from her bolthole as she keeps her nose to the ground trying to detect any prey that may be close to the surface. So far she isn't having any luck. She pauses and stands up on her hind legs looking back at her bolthole. She's desperately tempted to move further away from the bolthole but is also hesistant to. If a predator attacks and she ends up somewhere that has no boltholes she could find herself in serious danger.

Dominic is wary, he can smell the scent of Oreos, and he isn't that happy to have another fight just after four days.

ooc: A oreos and Zippers fight would be interesting though... xP

Running Star is aware of the risks of invading another rivals land, especially so soon after what happened in Midnights territory 4 days ago. but with food supplies nearly depleted in their own territory they may have no choice but to raid someone's food supply. After stealing land from the Midnights, Running Star's confidence level is high and she's aiming for expanding Zippers territory even further.

Dominic follows Running Star loyally, but is unsure of the rival group's strength.
Jay follows eagerly, his first real fight!

Faith smiles at Alfonso, still pawing at him.

ooc: When will we cross over?

Streak and Flurry follow, eager for land and victory.

Running Star leads her group to the Zippers/Oreos border. She sniffs at the air throughly. The Zippers scent has faded and the Oreos scent has taken over. Running Star smirks poised to take more land and to run another group further to edge of their land. She glances over her shoulder to make sure everyone is present before just storming across the border. She realizes 2 of her warriors are missing, Faith and Alfonso. She snarls in slight frustration as she is 2 Zippers down. They're going to need everyone present if they are to succeed in winning another battle and stealing more land. Running Star decides not worry about. They're here at the border and her choice has been made. Without further hesistation Running Star charges into Oreo's territory.

Unaware of the Zippers heading into Oreos territory, Alfonso rolls back and forth on his back churring with delight. He's enjoying spending time with Faith.

Peachy has ventured far from her bolthole. She's now in the middle of Zippers territory digging into the ground furiously under a bush. Her luck with finding food hasn't been very good and she's starting to become paranoid and flustered. She glances up frequently to scan the area for predators. She worries at the end of every minute she could find herself in the claws or jaws of a predator.

ooc: We can continue in Oreos territory now

ooc: Okay.

Faith loses track of time from all the fun she's had. She never had the chance to play like this when she was a pup.

Alfonso squeals with joy. He's having too much fun to care about what the Zippers are doing.

Faith grins, but then realizes there's no other sounds. She looks around warily, still wanting to play, but nervous.

Alfonso also picks up on the quiet atmosphere but isn't concerned and continues playing.

Faith decides to put her nerves aside and keeps pawing at Alfonso. If they'd been left behind it wasn't the end of the world.

Alfonso didn't care if they've been left behind. There will always be another day to join the foraging party. He churrs with excitement and paws back at Faith.

Faith smiles.

Unaware of the Zipper's humiliating defeat in Oreos territory, Alfonso has tired himself out from playfighting and is snuggled up to Faith about to take a nap.

Faith smiles and lies down next to Alfonso.

Alfonso yawns and dozes off.

Meanwhile on the other side of Zippers territory, Peachy continues to struggle to keep herself and her unborn pups alive. She's taking a risk by foraging out in the open but she's so desperate she's willing to take the risk if it means getting lucky with finding food. She's traveled to a part of the Zippers territory where the ground is a bit softer and easier to dig into. Peachy furiously claws into the ground determined to find and eat any edible morsels she comes across. As she spends more time keeping her head low she's leaving herself open to a predator attack.

DOminic barks as he notices Jay is missing.

Running Star makes it into Zipper territory. She takes a break and sits on her haunches to check to see if the Oreos are still following her and to gather her strength. Luckily the Oreos haven't followed her across the border but she isn't out of the woods. She has become seperated from her group. Badly injured and alone, she stands little chance of survival and to make things worse, her life isn't the only life hanging by a thread. The injuries sustained to her stomach could've caused serious damage to her unborn litter. As she sits there in weakened condition and in shock from both losing the battle and sustaining serious injuries, she unaware that she's not the only missing Zipper.

ooc: What should happen to the pup Pancake adopted and never named?

Springer snarled as he saw Jay was missing, he believed it was most likely that he was killed by an adult Oreos member in battle, pups shouldn't be allowed to fight as far as he saw it.

Unaware of 2 members missing from the returning Zippers group, Alfonso is safe and comfortable below ground enjoying his nap and snuggling up to Faith. He is also unaware of his mother Peachy's crisis on the other side of Zipper's territory.

Peachy suddenly hears a screech coming from above. She shoots up from foraging and realizes she's in danger when she spots a martial eagle soring the skies. She starts to panic. It appears there aren't any boltholes in the area so she'll have make do with the cover of a bush. She dashes for the bush that's several feet away from her. It feels like a dream where running is in slow motion as she makes the frantic run for the bush but she makes it to cover just in time. She's lucky that the martial hasn't spotted her. She eyes the bird of prey warily as it looks to not be leaving any time soon.

Faith rests her head on her paws and also decides to take a nap.

Peachy sounds anxious peeps as the martial eagle keeps up its relentless aerial search for food and to make things worse, it's starting to get late. Peachy needs to search for shelter and soon or she could be facing a harrowing search in the dark for a bolthole.

Running Star looks up at the sky realizing that it's getting late. She struggles to her feet. She must keep going if she's going to make it home before dark.
