Tisca emerged and scanned the area for danger. Chester Quavers bounded out after her.
Cloud Catcher remained below, curled up by Splash.

Pamela emerges and stretches at the entrance.

Puzzle wakes up and comes outside the burrow. Alethia is still sleeping inside.

Bahiya came above ground, she was very nervous. She was the first of many females due to have pups soon. She had doubts that her litter would survive.

Jupiter was still asleep as well, curled up next to Karma.

Topaz was slowly awaking, yawning.

Karma emerges in a slightly irritable mood. Her pregnancy is approaching it's final stages and her mood swings have become more unpredictable and random but she's trying her best to hold back her more aggressive mood swings so as to not get herself into Morning Glory's bad books. She'll be the third female to give birth and worries that either she or another pregnant female could terminate any chances of a litters' survival.

Alethia wakes up and yawns before coming outside. She sees her half-brother Puzzle and goes over to him. They greet each other warmly and begin to groom each other.

Karma drowns out her irritablilty with happiness and greets the Tiny Kat members who are already up with good morning chirps. She stands next to Alethia and Puzzle and starts to sun herself.

Pamela looks at Bahiya and Karma. She hopes their pregnances won't get the better of them.

Karma looks at Bahiya. She's due to give birth before her and hopes that her instincts to want to kill her litter don't kick in but if they do she'll fight them off the best she can. She refuses to let her instincts ruin their friendship and trust.

Tisca looks at her friends sadly. She was hoping that nothing happened to either of their litters.

Pamela grooms herself, trying to calm her worries.

Karma moves over to Tisca and starts to groom her to soothe her nerves. She chirps in her grooming reassuring Tisca that everyone's litters will be fine at least she hopes they will be.

Puzzle pauses from grooming Alethia and looks around. He's still a little nervous, but Alethia comforts him.

Karma pauses and sighs. In truth she doesn't exactly know what'll happen once the pregnant females start giving birth but the bad feeling in her stomach is telling her that things may get nasty.

Jupiter walks out of the burrow, stretching out. Almost quickly, she could sense something was wrong... She looked around, confused.

Karma peeps a morning greeting to Jupiter. She tries to hide her anxiety so as to not get her excited.

Pamela smiles at Jupiter, but seeing she looks concerned she tilts her head.

Tisca sees Jupiter and smiles.

Jupiter frowned, confused at how some of the females looked concerned/worried. She looked at their bellies. Was their litters due soon? She wasn't sure since she wasn't around long enough to be fully aware.

Karma looks down at her large belly and starts to groom it. She smiles in her grooming excited about being a mother but worries that she may not get a chance to watch her pups grow up.

Morning Glory arose from the burrow and sat quietly next to Stratus. Her belly was growing larger every day and the fears of a large litter lurked in the back of her mind. If she had more pups than Bahiya chances are that her litter would be seen as the threat and may not survive their first few hours. However with pregnant Karma looking to deliver shortly as well, chances for pup survival could possibly get slimmer.
Nudging at her mate, the dominant female rested her head against his shoulder knowing she clearly had to face a dilemma. Either evict the three pregnant females and leave her litter with very few adults to support them or leave the fate of the newborns in the paws of the subordinate females. Neither felt particularly a kind choice but that was life in the Kalahari.

Karma sees Morning Glory emerge and swallows hard. She can see that she's struggling with having to make a choice and she has a feeling it involves thinking about evicting her along with the other pregnant females. With their litters due within a close handful of days of each other, someone is bound to snap and the choice of someone getting evicted is looking inevidible.

Alethia and Puzzle see Morning Glory, and they both peep a hello

Chirping a good morning in return, Morning Glory was glad the new members were settling in well but not so pleased to see her sister waddling out the burrow behind them bearing the tell tale signs that she too was carrying another litter.
