Roleplay - 29th of October

Seeing Dominic head off, Springer snatched his chance to be with Arrow. The two of them slink off into the undergrowth together.

ooc: Dominic's only like three yards away.

Running Star continues to make contact calls but has noticed the contact calls she was recieving have stopped. She pauses waiting to hear them start up again but after several minutes, she assumes that the calls are no longer in her hearing range. She drops to her haunches exhausted and feeling hopeless.

Dominic continues to call again, unaware of the plot.

ooc: Oh.

bic: Springer watched Dominic with a deadly glare, Springer had been well known for being stubborn and very aggressive. He wasn't going to let something like a lovesick dominant male keep him from being with Arrow.

Arrow was staying as far away from Dominic as she could, she looked up and saw Springer climbing to the top of a dune not too far away. He looked back to her.

She quickly glanced at Dominic and then raced off to follow Springer away.

ooc: It's okay though. Are they leaving the group?

Unaware of Arrow and Springer jostling for dominance, Running Star refuses to give up her search for the Zippers. Confident that she heard the contact calls come from the north, she limps off in that direction whilst sticking to the cover of trees and bushes for protection from predators. She stops occassionally to listen for more contact calls.

Dominic makes one loud bark.

ooc: No, they are just going a short distance so Springer wouldn't get caught.

ooc: Okay- but Dominic would most likely be able to smell him on Arrow when they head back in the evening.

ooc: Yeah but by then there would not much he could do about Arrow being pregnant.

Yeah.

Running Star picks up Dominic's bark. It sounded closer than the contact calls. Relieved that she may have pinpointed on where her group is, Running Star limps through the vegetation sounding loud contact calls hoping to meet up with the Zippers.

Faith watches Dominic, hoping his calls hadn't been unheared.

Alfonso looks into the distance with concern. He hopes Running Star has heard Dominic's contact calls and will appear on the horizon line soon.

Faith hopes for the same outcome, but not having seen her for a few days, her hopes are fading.

Dominic barks again.

Alfonso sighs feeling hopeless. By now Running Star is probably dead.

Less than a football length from the Zippers, Running Star has heard Dominic's bark and is becoming more hopeful that she will soon be reunited with her group.

Faith looks at Alfonso. She wanted to make him feel better about the situation, but she felt helpless this time.

Running Star starts up her contact calls again. Her instincts are telling her that her mob is very close.

Alfonso perks up hearing the contact calls. He looks to Faith with his eyes wide. Could that be Running Star? He looks into the horizon, now hopeful.

Faith hears the call too. She looks at Alfonso and replies. It could be her. Hope fills her again.

Alfonso watches and waits to see if Running Star appears. As her calls become more louder and clearer, he starts to recognize them as definately being Running Star's calls.

dominic barked and called, he could hear his mate now. She was close!

Running Star hears her mate perfectly and clearly just over a thicket of bushes. She squeals in excitement. Her battle to survive on her own is over.

Alfonso perks up as he thinks he saw something through the thicket of bushes. Could it be Running Star?

Arrow and Springer return from the shrubs and Arrow hears Running Star. She snarled, if she was back, she'd have to fight for her place. (Things will go bad for Arrow from there.)

Springer didn't seem to care and stood sentry.

Sugar watched curiously, she recognized the call of Running Star but she still had to be cautious.
