Roleplay - 29th of October

Sandy churred softly and tried to return the grooming. When she grew up, grooming would be a good way to get close to other meerkats.

Carnation looks up and observes her surroundings. She doesn't see the burrow anywhere and starts to get worried. Infact she doesn't recognize this area of the Oreo's territory at all. She bites her lower lip hard. If the Oreos return to find her and Sandy gone, she could be facing serious consequences for her irresonsibility.

Sandy snuggled up to Carnation's fur. She was lost, but she knew she could count on Carnation to keep her safe.

Mellow Yellow and Smudge continue to watch the meerkats, wondering what to do next.

Carnation wraps her arms around Sandy in a protective hug then nuzzles her. No matter what happens she'll do what ever it takes to keep Sandy safe even lay down her life. She looks around. They'll figure out a way to get home...some how.

Sandy looked around. Where exactly were they? She was curious.

Carnation growls in frustration to herself. She has forgotten to leave a trail which would've been able to help them get home. She sighs feeling guilty for exposing Sandy to danger. She could've been killed. She looks around unsure of which direction will lead them back to the burrow.

Sandy sighed. She had learned a lesson. This place can be facinating, but the next thing you know the desert becomes awfully harsh.

Carnation gets up and peeps. They're going to have to take a geuss on which direction to take to get home. She looks to the west. She doesn't know whether it'll lead her and Sandy home or not but decides to take the risk. She keeps Sandy close. They are in unknown territory and there's no telling what perils could lay ahead.

Sandy followed uncertainly, glancing around as if a rival gang would burst out of nowhere and charge at them any moment.

Carnation takes occassional brief breaks to check for any signs of danger or a rival group that could be occupying this area. So far luck seems to be on their side.

Sandy lgazed into the distance. It was good that there was no danger, but were they anywhere near the burrow? If not, they were in trouble.

Panic surges through Carnation's body as everywhere she looks the burrow is no where in sight. They couldn't have wondered too from the burrow... or did they? Carnation peeps disoriented.

PK looks at Smudge and Yellow Mellow, waiting to see what the leaders will do.

Joey had just noticed the presence of the two new members. He chirped a welcome to them and climbed down from his sentry post.

Sandy peeped nervously. Were they heading in the direction of the burrow, or the direction of ememy territory?

Carnation looks around. They could see the large boabab tree not too far from the burrow, they couldn't be that far from home. Carnation's instincts are telling her to continue west. Unsure of where it could lead them, Carnation chooses to listen to her instincts and keeps on walking.

Sandy continues to follow Carnation's lead. Her instincts tell her to trust Carnation's instincts. (lol)

Carnation looks behind her to make sure Sandy is staying close. She peeps reassuring her that they'll be home soon. Her instincts are telling her that the burrow in this direction.

Sandy picked uo her pace, but remained close to Carnation. She sensed that the burrow was near.

Carnation is relieved when she recognizes a few landmarks that means they're close to the burrow!

Sandy churred in relief and began to trott alongside her babysitter.

Carnation suddenly sees the burrow not too far ahead of them. She sighs in relief. This harrowing experiance has sure taught her a lesson about how dangerous it can be to take pups away from the burrow.

Sandy looked at Carnation. They had both learned a lesson in that small journey. Sandy ran to the burrow and stretched out in front of the entrace and rolled in the sand, churring happily.

Carnation nods to Sandy. Next time when she's babysitting pups she'll remember not to take them out on a walk that could end in tragedy.
