Roleplay - 29th of October

Starburst saw the new meerkats and sniffed them. She scent marked them to show they had been accepted. She smiled, it wouldn't be long before they would be able to attack the Reapers and get their pups back.

Joey smiled and went back to his sentry duty. He was glad they would be able to win the pups back soon.

ooc: Kusuma, maybe you should update the DW Info site again?

ooc: Right, I had just been thinking about that. I've just been extremely busy lately, I'll get to it as soon as I can.

bic: Akina ran over to the newcomers and peeped a hello to each of them.

ooc: I could help out a little...

ooc: Thank you.

ooc: What do you need me to do?

Carnation makes it back to the burrow and collapses from exhaustion. Her limbs shake uncontrollably from the adrenaline that's pumping through her body. She's never done something that bold and potentially foolish and is surprised by herself for making that risky choice to venture away from the burrow.

ooc: Do you think you could get the number of meerkats in all of the mobs for me?

ooc: They haven't been updated in forever... I could try. Maybe I could right a new summaries for the groups- getting the numbers would be tricky.

Carnation closes her eyes. A good long nap sounds good about now.

PK gets back to foraging, his nerves gone.

Kal watches Smudge and Yellow Mellow, briefly before also getting back to foraging.

Sacha also starts foraging again.

Carnation drifts off to sleep. The exciting adventure away from the burrow has drained her of her energy.

Acacia finally arives in the area, and quickly spots Smudge and Mellow Yellow with the Oreos. At least the pups seem to be accepted which means they'll stand a better chance of survival, but she wants to be with them. She keeps her distance, standing on her hind legs, wondering if she should risk approaching the group.

Sandy yawned and headed into the burrow for a nap. She wanted to be underground because she didn't want to sleep in broad daylight.

Carnation is in a deep sleep. She's aware that she's taking a risk by napping out in the open but feels secure knowing that the burrow entrance is less than a foot from her. She's a pretty light sleeper so she'll know if danger rears its ugly head.

Sandy had a nightmare about the boabab tree. She dreamed that a large cat lunged at them, opening it's jaws, showing it's sharp, deadly teeth...

Carnation churrs as she starts to dream. She's dreaming about her and Luke spending a romantic time together foraging on a brightly gorgeous sunny day.

PK decides to stand sentry, full. There could be threats out there.

Kal keeps digging.

Sacha eats a small scorpion.

Sunny sighed and laid down in the sand.

Acacia sees that the Oreos haven't spotted her yet, but she's still wary about approaching them and decides to keep her distance for a little while longer. Smudge and Mellow Yellow playfight together in the sand.

Unaware of another mystery meerkat hanging around the foraging party, Carnation is sound asleep and enjoying evey moment of her dream about Luke.

In Sandy's dream, the cat's terrible jaws were closing in, ready to crush Sandy's skull. She shrieked in fear and jolted awake.

Carnation is awoken out of her dream when she hears a screech. Thinking Sandy may be in trouble, she hurries into the burrow to check on her.

Little did she know, Sandy wasn't awoken by the dream. She was awoken by a smell. It smelled wrong... very wrong indeed...

Carnation arrives to Sandy's aid. She checks her over to make sure something didn't harm her and sighs in relief seeing that she's fine. She peeps curious to know what scared her. Suddenly Carnation picks up the strange scent. It sends a chill down her spine.
