Roleplay - 29th of October

Bravo enters the Oreo's territory from the Willows, looking for roving opportunities. His goal today is to scout out the local mobs for when roving season starts if he doesn't get lucky, so he plans to visit multiple mobs.

Sandy settled beside Sandy to take a short nap.

Sandy layed down beside Carnation, but didn't close her eyes.

Carnation sits on her haunches and looks around, keeping a keen eye out for danger or unwanted meerkats. She's unaware that a rover has entered Oreo's territory.

Sandy closed her eyes, slipping into a short nap.

Bravo sniffs the ground. The mob that owns this land must be around somewhere. He starts to trot along, trying to find signs that he's close to other meerkats, particularly females.

Carnation looks down at the napping Sandy and smiles adoringly. She looks so cute!

Sandy dreamed of eating her first grub and smiled in her sleep.

Carnation returns her attention to the horizon. She must stay ever alert to danger. The scent of a pup above ground could attract predators, especially the dreaded pup killing cape cobra.

Bravo sniffs along a faint scent trail he found. It's the path the Oreos took the previous day to forage. Hopefully he's heading towards the right end of the trail, the burrow.

Sandy woke up from her nap, her mouth opened in a tiny yawn.

Unaware of Bravo making his way towards the burrow, Carnation finds herself starting to get drowsy. She forces herself to stay awake. Any lapse in vigilance could be fatal.

Sandy peeped at Carnation to let her know that she was getting hungry.

Carnation jumps slightly at Sandy's high pitched small peep. She greatfully offers to find her something to eat and starts to forage around the burrow.

She glanced at Carnation and tried digging a hole herself.

Carnation watches Sandy proudly.

Sandy sniffed the hole but smelled nothing. She dug deeper.

Carnation gets back to some ground excavating of her own. She digs a deep hole but finds nothing so she moves on to another spot to dig.

Bravo continues to follow the trail. He gets excited as the scent intensifies. He's getting closer to the burrow.

Sandy gave up on the hole she was digging and settled to another digging spot. She hardly scraped the ground when a small crawling insect caught her eye. She looked at it and noticed many of the insect. These were ants.

Carnation digs another medium sized hole and once again fails to find anything edible. She stands up and looks around. It's too risky to leave the burrow to forage especially since she has a pup to look after. She'll just have to deal with sticking to the burrow as she forages.

Sandy peeped to Carnation and tried to catch one of the ants. They were fast! Before she knew it, ants were crawling on her and biting her. She rolled in the sand, trying to get the ants off.

The burrow comes within Bravo's sight. He looks around, noticing a female foraging with a pup, but no one else. This will be easy. Time to work his charm. He sneaks around within the vegetation, getting closer to them.

Carnation responds to Sandy's peep and bounds over to assist her. She realizes that ants have crawled all over her and are biting her. She starts to pluck the ants off Sandy, unaware that Bravo is making an approach towards her.

While Carnation was taking the ants off of her, Sandy sniffed the air. She smelled something fishy...just not right...
