Roleplay - 7th of November

Luna stands on her hind legs.

Snowflake goes to the shade to rest.

Jackie keeps foraging.

Lancaster stands up on his hind legs and gazes into the horizon. He spots a large camel thorn tree in the distance. He'll begin his search for Tank there and if he doesn't find him, he'll just search under another camel thorn tree. With his plans set and energy up, Lancaster bounds into the vegetation, begining his search mission for his brother.

Bravo grooms himself and gets back to digging. He's starting to feel full, so he may decide to do some work afterwards.

Luna sniffed the air, unsure of her surroundings. SOmething smelled funny...

Lancaster comes to an opening in the vegetation and stops to look around. The Willows are still in view and the landscape is beautiful but he could careless if the group saw him leaving or not and could careless about the landscape. He's focused on locating the territory's camel thorn trees. He can see quite a handful in the distance and plans to start his search mission at the closest one. Lancaster trots in the direction of the nearest camel thorn tree.

Bravo looks at Luna and chirps, before taking note of the smell too. (you meant literal, right?)

As Lancaster encroaches on the camel thorn tree, he can clearly see that no animals are occupying its shade and protective shelter. He sighs disappointed, hoping he would get lucky on his first camel thorn tree search and spot his brother but he's learning that it isn't going to be so easy. Looking for his brother is going to be like looking for a needle in a hay stack and there's even the possiblilty that he may never find his brother, no matter how hard he searches. Lancaster scambers off to the west, toward the next camel thorn tree.

Linda falls asleep in the bolthole.

Bravo sniffs the air. What is it?

Lancaster picks up the pace as he closes in on the next camel thorn tree. Will Tank be hanging out underneathe this one? He really hopes so but at the same time he's doubtful. He's unaware of a strange smell surrounding the Willows foraging party.

Jackie looks over at Luna, wondering what was wrong, a cricket in her mouth.

Snowflake looks around from the shade.

Bravo continues to sniff the air, unsure of what it is.

As the camel thorn tree comes within his sight, Lancaster is disappointed to see no one occupying its shade. He sighs and decides to move on to the next camel thorn tree. He won't give up until his mission is complete, even if he has search in the dark of night.

Bravo shrugs it off and gets back to digging. The smell must not have been from anything dangerous, and he doesn't smell it anymore anyways.

Suddenly, Lancaster's search mission is compremised when he treks into an area teaming with birds of prey. The sky is filled with them and at any moment, any one of the hawks can swoop down and snatch Lancaster faster than he could defend himself. Lancaster is alarmed by the presence of several hawks being in the area and looks around frantically, hoping there's a bolt hole near by to take shelter in.

Unaware of Lancaster's dangerous situation, Bravo digs for some food.

In the nearby bolthole, Linda is asleep, once again dreaming about her "forbidden lover," Ninja.

Not far from where he is standing, Lancaster spots a bolt hole. He looks back up at the sky, making sure none of the deadly aerial predators have spotted him. Then he makes a daring dash for refuge. Lancaster makes it safely, and without being spotted, into the bolt hole. He now prepares himself for what may be a long wait for safty.

Linda sleeps, unaware that the very one she's dreaming about is making his way towards the mob right now.

Bravo is also unaware of this, and his reaction will be the opposite as Linda's.

Lancaster is also unaware of Ninja making his way towards the Willows as he hangs out in the bolt hole, waiting for the dangers of aerial predators to vacate out of his location. Feeling a little brave, Lancaster pokes his head out of the bolt hole to see if the danger has lifted. Unfortunately not all of the hawks have flown away so he'll he may have to wait a little longer before deciding to resume his search and rescue mission.

Unaware of Lancaster's mission and Ninja coming towards the group, Snowflake watches ground squirrels play.

Jackie decides to stand sentry, still not content.

Lancaster lays his head on the bolt hole entrance slope and sighs in frustration. He's becoming impatient and desperately wants to find his brother Tank.

Bravo digs up a scorpion and eats it.

Lancaster lifts his head and blinks thinking that he heard a strange noise. Curious, he peers out from the bolthole and is startled when he sees a hawk take off from out of a patch of grass close to where he's sheltering. He sees something clutched in it's talons, a ground squirelle. He swallows nervously. If he didn't get into shelter as fast as he did, that could've very easily been him.

Linda tooses and turns in her sleep, having mixed dreams about Ninja and their pups.

Bravo sits up and grooms himself.

Lancaster watches the hawk fly off with its prey griped in its deadly talons then cautiously takes a step out of the bolt hole. He looks around, mostly up at the sky, to see if all of the birds of prey have vacated the area. It appears that the danger has passed and Lancaster exits the bolt hole, anxious to get back to his search mission.
