Roleplay - 7th of November

Ninja has finally made it to the Willows territory. He's excited but nervous at the same time. When he finds the Willows group he'll either discover that it's too late or he'll be happily reunited with his juliet. He immediately sets about trying to pick up a scent trail. He wants to find the Willows and wants to know Linda's fate as soon as possible.

Linda falls asleep again, unaware that the very one she's been desperate to meet again is trying to find her.

Bravo grooms himself some more and stands sentry again.

Ninja thoroughly sniffs every bush, tree and patch of grass he comes across trying to pick up a strong Willows scent trail. He finally finds one when he sniffs along the ground. His heart begins to race from the excitement and the suspense of not knowing whether Linda is alive or dead. When he finds the Willows, he hopes to find her alive.

Bravo yawns and relaxes. The day has been uneventful so far, and he feels it's safe to relax a bit.

As the Willows scent becomes stronger, Ninja's heart rate heightens. He must be close to them now so he ditches the following the scent method and clambers up a nearby bush to scout out the group with his eyes.

Linda is still asleep, unaware of Ninja's presence.

Bravo is also unaware, and is lazily scanning the skies for danger.

The strong breeze causes the bush to wobble and Ninja to almost slip but it doesn't cloud his concentration as he scans the horizon intently for the Willows mob. Suddenly his eyes lock on a heard of small animals on the move. He winces to study them closely. They appear to be meerkats and with the Willows scent now burning in his nostrils they must be the Willows! Ninja can barely contain himself and shuffles his paws on the bush but his excitement causes him to lose grip and fall. Unharmed Ninja swiftly gets back to his feet. He gets down low in the grass and begins slinking towards the Willows, hoping the outcome of his journey has a happy ending.

Bravo doesn't spot Ninja, as he's still focused on the skies.

Linda is asleep, and also oblivious.

Ninja silently crawls closer to the Willows to get a closer look. His heart is now pounding and he can hear it beating hard against his chest. He's nervous because he knows he's much hated around here by the resident males and if he's caught snooping around, he could be killed.

Bravo is still unaware that Ninja is watching them. The wind is on Ninja's side, and he doesn't smell anything as a result.

Linda wakes up but stays in the bolthole. She just wants to rest a little longer.

Luna becomes even more bored.

Ninja looks up and sees that Bravo is one of the sentinals on duty. He swallows hard remembering the last time these 2 met, Bravo had given him a perminant reminding warning that if he's caught hanging around his sister, he'll be torn to shreds by her protective brother but not even that will stop Ninja from seeing the one he loves the most, Bravo's sister Linda. His love for her is strong and he won't let anything or anyone get between them. He looks the group over trying to spot Linda.

Linda is underground and out of view. Ninja is looking for her right above ground and she doesn't even know.

Bravo keeps a firm watch. He turns to the distant horizon for land predators.

Ninja makes a quick nervous glance at the male sentries to make sure he hasn't been spotted but lucky for him, the sentries haven't yet noticed him and the wind is also working on his side so he takes the advantage to resume looking for Linda. Unfortunately she's no where in sight. His heart sinks fearing the worst. He's too late. It seems fate has beaten him to his precious lady.

Bravo searches the closer terrain incase dangers slipped past his "radar" undetected.

Luna sighs slowly.

Ninja sighs in despair. There is one thing that can end his and Linda's relationship, fate. He sulkingly heads for a bush to mourn Linda's "disappearance/death". The flash backs of Bravo intruding at the Jumaa burrow then attacking him flood Ninja's memory. He must've come seeking revenge for all of the punishment and stress his sister Linda had endure from the dominant female after she had found out she was pregnant. Ninja sighs. It's all his fault that this had happened. If he hadn't had mated with her, she wouldn't have suffered a stressful and perminantly bannished fate.

Bravo smells something faint and looks around. He thinks he's smelled it before. He looks in the bushes and spots Ninja. He stays still momentarily, shocked that he ignored his warning. His disbelief is overcome by rage and he raises a loud alarm and darts towards him, claws ready. He chases with extra anger. This is their turf, and he wants to give Ninja more than just an injury.

Ninja's eyes go wide when he hears the alarm and he whips around to see Bravo coming at him like a bat out of hell. He grits his teeth realizing he's in bombardier beetle acid with this particular male. He's still reeling from the last encounter he had with him and isn't willing to stick around to see what else he'll do to him. Ninja scrambles to his feet and takes off running for his life.

Bravo remains in hot pursuit, intent on killing. Ninja will pay for all of the damage he has done.

Linda hears the loud alarm above ground and rushes to her feet. What's happening. She looks towards the entrance, wondering if the alarm is a sign she should stay below ground.

Ninja continues to run but his leg muscles are burning. All of the walking through territories has taken a toll on his legs and he doesn't know just how much longer he can keep ahead of Bravo.

Jackie and Snowflake groom eachother, unaware of Ninja's trek.

ooc- You said you wanted Ninja to get a little injured right?

ic- Bravo remains in hot pursuit. Being more well rested than Ninja, he's starting to catch up to him.

Luna watches with wide eyes.

No one else seems to be finding shelter, so Linda emerges from the bolthole to see Bravo pursueing something. She can't see who or what it is though through the cloud of dust kicked up by the chase. She's unaware that it's Ninja.

ooc- I don't want Ninja to spot Linda.
