Roleplay - 7th of November

Luna runs to Linda and barks in a commanding tone. Go below! Buckeye is after us!
Luna hated lying to her friend, but she didn't want to ruin Linda's relationship with her brother and her mate, seeing them both fighting.

Linda stares at Luna in confusion. She peeps. But that doesn't explain why her brother is chasing something.

Bravo starts to catch up to Ninja. Just a little closer and he'll be able to sink his claws into him.

Luna growls in frustration and shoulders Linda back into the bolthole. She could not see what was going on above.

ooc- I don't recall Luna ever finding out about Ninja...

ic- Linda gives a confused glance and heads back in. What's going on?

ooc: Yes. He'll recieve a deep claw and bite wound to his right thigh. And he won't discover Linda until later.

Ninja looks over his shoulder and sees that Bravo is now a foot behind him. He yelps but as he pushes himself to run faster, he slips and crashes to the ground. His leg muscles are throbbing painfully, stunning the exhausted Ninja and leaving him vulnerable to Bravo's rage. Too tired and sore to get scramble to his feet to try to escape from Bravo, Ninja curls into a defensive ball bracing for a brutal beating he's about to recieve.

Bravo pounces and bites down on Ninja's thigh, using his claws to inflict even more damage.

Ninja yelps and jerks at the pain. Not having enough strength to fight back, Ninja tries to pull free from Bravo's grip.

Bravo clamps down harder in response, but starts to lose grip. He can taste blood though, and hopes this will teach him a lesson to never return.

ooc: Luna remembers Linda talking about him...

Ninja yelps louder and pulls his leg in response to the pain. He can feel the warm liquid of blood pooling on his fur and winces as the fresh wound burns at the touch of the air. He kicks Bravo in the muzzle with his other leg hoping to dislodge him so he can escape.

Meanwhile Lancaster is greatful to hear that 3 selfless females had come to Tank's aide and shockingly put aside their needs to support their unborn litters to help his brother. It was very unselfish of them even though they had unborn pups and themselves they could've been caring for. He lays his front limbs over Tank's shoulders and grooms his head as if to give him a joyful hug.

Though still a little weak from his ordeal, Tank is also greatful for those 3 females. If they hadn't had come to his rescue he wouldn't be sitting here enjoying the beautiful landscape right now. He returns the favor by grooming his brother back. They're together again. Both males are unaware of Ninja making an unwanted visit at the Willows foraging party.

Bravo is stunned by the kick and lets go.

Linda tries to go ack above ground to see what's happening.

Seeing this as his chance to escape, Ninja struggles to his feet and takes off with a prominant limp. His right thigh is pounding in excruciatging pain and he can barely place his right foot on the ground.

Linda comes above ground just to see the mystery intruder escape, and it doesn't take long to recognise him. She watches with wide eyes, not believing what just happened. Ninja visited them and she didn't even know it.

Bravo recovers and lets him escape, grinning at his limp. He's exhausted and doesn't want to give chase anymore. He's never going to return hopefully. Maybe the bite will even kill him if it gets infected or if a predator suddenly targets him.

Ninja can barely keep up a run as he makes his escape. Blood is dripping from his leg wound and the pain is unbearable. It's going to be a monumental task to make it back alive to the Jumaa mob. Minutes later, he stops to rest underneath of a bush. As he had feared, his mission has ended in tragedy and now there may be no garuntee that he'll be able to survive the trek back home.

Once Ninja is out of sight, Bravo returns to the others and starts to tend to his wounds.

Linda stares into the horizon. Ninja might never return now. She whimpers softly and gives her brother a angry glance before she sulks off to have some alone time.

Ninja begins to tend to his nasty looking thigh wound. It hasn't stopped bleeding yet and as Ninja grooms it, his muzzle gets stained with the red liquid. He blinks his eyelids tightly, starting to feel dizzy and light headed from both the shock of recieving such a severe wound and from moderate blood loss. He lays down flat on his belly to rest and regain his normal healthy feeling.

Snowflake looks around confused.

Jackie also looks around. She recalled seeing Bravo chasing someone.

Ninja closes his eyes for a bit. An image of Linda appears in his mind and he whimpers, devestated. He'll no londer be able to see her now that she is most likely assumed 'dead'.

Linda returns to the others and starts to forage, still devestated over the possibility that she's never see Ninja again.

Bravo tries to calm her with some grooming, but she moves away when he does so. He had to chase Ninja off. It was for her own good.

Ninja moves around restlessly. He can't rest. The pain from his thigh wound is a feeling he can't ignore and he suddenly gets a strange feeling that's telling him that Linda can't be dead. He struggles to sit up and slightly tilts to the side, still too dazed to sit up all the way. He turns in the direction where he chased from and narrows his eyes refusing to believe that Linda is dead. His instincts tell him that she's somewhere out there, alive.

ooc- Linda will come to him, remember?

ic- Linda can't eat. She's feeling too depressed. She sits down and stares into the horizon. Maybe it's not too late. Maybe she can find him.

ooc: Oh yeahXD

Ninja sighs defying his instincts. It can't be possible that she's alive. If she was evicted permenantly she's most likely dead or has disappeared by now. He'll just have to accept her fate and move on. Besides he's too weak to head out and search for her even if she is still alive. Odds are she won't last long for him to find her any way. But he just can't shake the feeling that she's alive. He looks off into the distance wondering she really is out there some where.

Linda starts to think. Things have calmed down. Maybe she can go and find him. It's risky, but this may be her last chance.

Bravo is unaware of his sister's idea and is foraging.

Ninja lays back down. He's lost alot of blood from his thigh wound and the best thing to do right now is just to rest. But he's a lone injured meerkat above ground and could be an easy target if spotted by a predator so he decides to remain awake as he rests.

Linda decides to take the risk. She makes sure no one is looking and sneaks off, heading in the direction Ninja was chased off to. She moves quickly, unsure how long he will remain in reach if he still is.

Bravo is unaware that Linda just sneaked off.
