Roleplay - 7th of November

Tank doesn't notice Linda laying low as he is bond grooming the members who came over to greet him.

Lancaster looks at Linda with a serious facial expression. She had failed to learn her lesson the first time and now could be dealt an even more serious punishment when Buckeye confronts her.

Linda keeps an eye out, trying to make sure Buckeye doesn't notice anything. She rolls in the sand, trying to get more of the scent off. She glares at Bravo, a little angry about how they want to keep her away from Ninja.

Lancaster shakes his head at Linda rolling in the sand. Trying to rid Ninja's scent from her fur may not be enough to save her from a repremand but since it's getting late she may be saved from punishment from Buckeye for now. But tomorrow may be filled with consequences for her.

Tank churrs in content happy to be back home. Tonight he'll be sleeping easy.

Linda continues to roll in the sand.

Bravo's had enough. He runs over to Linda and barks loudly, demanding to know why she did it.

Lancaster looks around but doesn't see Buckeye near by. He then snorts wondering how Linda could've been so foolish. Not only did she put the other pregnant females at risk of eviction but she also put herself and her unborn litter at risk as well. Her fool hearted and dangerous decision to be with Ninja could cost her and/or her unborn pups' lives.

Linda growls and barks to Bravo and Lancaster. They don't understand. What would Lancaster and Josephine do if they weren't allowed to be together?

Lancaster suddenly develops a guilty concience and sighs. Linda's right, he has no room to argue. He's been with Josephine for a while now and it's merical that Buckeye hasn't punished her for being with him yet. He'd feel terrible if Josephine faced an eviction because of him and even more so if they were forced to stay apart.

Bravo however, is not phased by Linda's point. He barks loudly. There's no excuse. Her careless action could cost her greatly, and it can cost her pups even greater.

Linda lets out a low growl and walks off to a quiet spot to be alone and think.

Lancaster shakes off his worries about the conquences he and Josephine could face if they're caught together by Buckeye and resumes glaring at Linda but soon looks away from her giving her a chance to cool off. Unlike Linda and Ninja, he and Josephine didn't mate so Josephine doesn't have to worry about consequeces that could cost a litter of pups their lives.

Linda sits alone to think. What if she really can't manage to keep the pups alive? She looks down at her bulged belly and whimpers softly. She feels alone.

Bravo sighs in aggitation. It still amazes him how she ever fell pregnant in the first place. She used to know her boundries and avoid anything forbidden.

Jackie starts grooming Tank in welcome.

Snowflake just watches, happy to see Tank back.

Lancaster sits back down on his haunches a bit surprised. He always saw Linda as the more conscientious type of meerkat who would avoid getting into trouble but he's learned that looks can be decieving.

Tank still hasn't noticed the tension going on between Linda and her brother Bravo as he relaxes to regain his strength whilst enjoying the happy welcome back groomings from some group members. Already still weak from trying to recover from the snakebite, the long journey home has just about zapped the rest of his energy and he needs alot of rest to be able to put himself to use tomorrow.

Maylene then slowly climbs down the tree and stumbles a little, but then she pads on over to Tank and begins to groom him.

Linda walks over to Luna and sits by her. She feels Luna's the only one that understands her ongoing conflict. Afterall, do they not share the same conflict?

Bravo turns his attention back to Tank. He smiles, knowing that he's safe in their paws now.

Jackie decides to stand sentry again.

Snowflake sits by Jackie happily.

Tank nuzzles Maylene then returns the grooming. He briefly looks down at her bulged belly and smiles. She'll be giving birth in the next couple of days and he's excited to become a first time father.

Lancaster returns his focus to his brother Tank. He may look a bit fragile but he's happy to know that he'll survive now that he's back in security and comfort of the group.

Linda watches Maylene nervously. Another thing to worry about, her instincts. She can only hope the murderous instincts that come with pregnancy won't override her better judgement. If not, things may turn bloody, literally.

Tank, for now, is blissfully unaware of the threat Maylene could pose to Linda, Luna or Buckeye's pups. Despite Maylene's strange behaviors, Tank is in a cuddly mood and is accepting her grooming.

Lancaster however feels uncomfortable when he's around Maylene. He sees her as a loose cannon and could very well be seen as a threat. He narrows his eyes at her. He doesn't trust her and thinks Tank should keep a close eye on her from now on.

Linda continues to eye Maylene. She doesn't trust her, but she doesn't trust herself with Maylene's pups either. The next few days will be tough regardless of what happens.

Maylene chrips to Tank and then pads off over to a bush and begins to forage and scratch at the ground.

Lancaster's eyes narrow even more. He'll be watching Maylene closely over the next few days. He growls to himself directing it at Maylene. He's also seen how she acts around his brother. First she's all lovy dovy around him then she either ignores him or fools around with roving males behind his back. He feels that his brother shouldn't be with her.

Tank is unaware of his brother's disapproval for Maylene and is nuzzling her as she grooms him. Tank nods letting Maylene go forage. He lays down for a bit to rest.

Bravo doesn't pay much attention to Maylene and lays down next to Tank once she leaves. He chirps to Tank, wanting to know how he lived.

Linda keeps her eyes on Maylene as she sits next to Luna. She wishes there wasn't any competition between the three of them, let alone Buckeye, but it just doesn't work that way.

Tank looks off into the distance in wonder. It was because of those 3 selflessly caring kind evicted females why he's alive. He wishes he could've gotten a chance to say thanks but they disappered. He looks at Bravo and chirps explaining that he had teamed up with 3 heavily pregnant females. They had provided him with food, comfort and protection which helped to increase his chances of making it through the worst of the snakebite.

Lancaster gives a snort then turns his back to Maylene. He pads over to a sand lump and sits on it watch the sun begining to set.

Bravo looks into the distance in interest. In meerkat society strength comes in numbers, and they likely did it to better the chances of survival, for both them and Tank.

Linda slowly walks over to Bravo and Tank and sits down next to them, but doesn't say anything.

Tank nods. Even though he was in critical condition at the time, he had returned the favor to the females for helping him by watching out for their safty as well. For all of them to be able to survive they had to look out for each other. Tank notices Linda joining them but does nothing about it. He can sense her anxiety and prefers to leave her be.

Lancaster begins to groom himself. During his rescue mission, he had picked up a few parasites that need to be removed to avoid contracting a disease.
