Roleplay- 25th of November

Conker looks to his brother Cactus smiling happily. He's glad to see that his littermate brother is recovering quickly.

Cactus smiles back at his littermate and charges toward him without warning.

Conker squeals in playful surprise. He leaps up on to all 4s and tries to out run Cactus but he hasn't yet perfected his ability to run and ends up loosing his footing, tumbling to the ground.

Duke stands on a tree stump to do sentry duty once they arrive at a spot.

Linda sighs relieved when they finally reach a spot to forage and sits, panting. It's never taken her that much work to go somewhere. She used to be among the fasted and adept at going long distances. Now she can barely run and can't go very far.

Ninja is also relieved to arrive at the group's chosen foraging spot. He looks to Linda worried about the toll the long walk could've taken on her. She appeared to be exhausted but not too much to a point where it could prevent her from foraging. Ninja's legs feel a little sore from the long walk but he's used to it since he's used to traveling long distances as a rover. Ninja decides to wait a little later to forage for himself. He rises up on his hind legs, taking the initiative to stand gaurd and watch his fellow members' backs for predators.

Conker jumps squealing with excitement when the Jumaa arrive at the foraging spot. Not feeling hungry at the moment, he takes the oppertunity to investigate his surroundings.

Linda soon recovers and starts digging, ravenously hungry for food. Having not eaten desirable amounts the past few days and still having a near-due litter of unborn pups, she is very hungry. She digs aggressively and eats a beetle she uncovers.

Ninja keeps a stern eye on the horizon and sky. He won't eat until he knows for sure that the group's safty isn't at stake.

Conker runs over to an adult making begging calls.

Linda doesn't give Conker anything. She's too desperate to get some food into her own stomach to worry about Conker at the moment. Maybe later.

Kamaria decided that, if she was to save her pups, she needed to stay away from Aliya. Even though there were no pups at the burrow she was staying behind.

ooc- Remember we might have a burrow move... also does Conker still drink milk?

ooc: I think he does. He's a little over a month so I geuss he's at the age where he can still drink milk.

Conker whimpers in disappointment when Linda rejects his begging calls. He bounds over to another adult wailing pleadingly.

Ninja is so concentrated on keeping watch for predators that he's learned to train his brain to drown out other sounds around him that may be a distraction. Conker's begging calls don't even grab his attention as he sternly stares up at the aky. As a serious sentinal performer, he's trained himself to stay focused on the task on hand and isn't one to get easily distracted.

Linda looks up from the ground feeling bad. It takes time and energy to get solid food, but maybe Conker still drinks milk. Her own pups aren't due for another week, so what's the harm? She walks over to Conker and nudges him gently. She can provide him milk if he wants.

Duke is focused on sentry duty as well.

Conker's wails halt and he softly churrs as Linda nudges him. He becomes happy when she offers him a feed of milk and doesn't hesitate to suckle from her.

Ninja scans the landscape intensely, staying alert to every movement and sound that makes itself known.

Linda sits down and allows him to feed while resting her paws on her large belly. She looks down at him with a smile. In just days time she will have pups she can call her own.

Conker happily suckles from Linda. He squeaks in surprise as a pup's kick presents itself where he's suckling. He looks up at Linda with his eyes glistening in excitement. In a matter of days, there will be the sound of squeaks from more pups and he and his littermates will have more playmates to rough house with.

Linda giggles at Conker's reaction. She grooms him lightly on the head and lets him feed some more.

Conker churrs in content. He can feel his hunger begining to fade and isn't as moody as he was before.

Linda grooms Conker some more and sits upright. She's still very hungry.

Conker lays down on his side enjoying the pampering. He feels more relaxed and comfortable.

Linda grooms Cactus a little more and rsumes foraging. She needs to build up her energy.

Conker rolls onto his back and kicks his limbs at the air while churring happily. He mews in disappointment when Linda stops grooming him but soon turns his interest to wanting to explore. He trots over to a strange looking log and sniffs at its base curiously.

Linda starts to ravenously forage again, eating what she can find. She has a large appetite, and a lot of foraging is needed.

Every 3 seconds, Ninja turns his head in one direction to the next. He wants to make sure to perform his duty quickly yet thoroughly. He sounds the watchman's song, letting the group know it's safe to forage for now.

ooc: Sorry Tosca, I meant Kinkajou.

bic: Aliya watches Linda for a moment. She seeemed to be nice to her pups. That was a good sign. She gets back to foraging.

Suri eats a beetle.

Emzio eats a scorpion.

ooc: My plan is for Kamaria to join them later in the day after her energy crashes.
