Roleplay- 3rd of December

Fly is worried and whimpers.

Duke chirps to Fly, letting her know that things will be alright, as long as things happen as they're supposed to.

Linda whimpers slightly.

Kinkajou is at the burrow , she rests her head on her paws

Accidently sinking his teeth into the healing wound on Josephine’s tail, Mungo Jerrie pulled away at sound of the high pitched squeal from the younger female he was supposedly play fighting with.

At the sound of the distressed call, Rumpel Teaser emerged from the bolt hole and stood angrily glaring at Josephine. The female that she had taken care of over the couple of days was trying to steal her play mate and could potentially make herself at home in the dominant female position.
Barking a warning, she dropped onto all fours and strutted over towards her brother.

In pain and terrified, Josephine wiggled away from Mungo Jerrie and looked up as she heard the deep bark from Rumpel Teaser. Panicked, she ran towards the nearest grass unaware that she had made the big mistake.

Seeing Josephine flee, Mungo Jerrie sighed and looked at his sister. Both knew they couldn’t resist the thrill of a chase and together dashed after Josephine with the intention to bring her down just like they would do to an unsuspecting roving male.

Ninja watches Linda with a calm expression but he has the urge to release all of the nervous tension that's building up inside him. He bites his lower lip trying to maintain being calm.

Conker looks over at Fly, worried also for Linda's well being.

ooc- Eh... I'm not good with births. I'll rp the first and last, and skip through the rest.

ic- Linda's breathing picks up speed and strength as the labor pains eneter full strength. She feels a pup coming, and her instincts are telling her it's time to deliver. Linda clentches tightly, trembling a little.

ooc: Okie dokie. I stink at births too so when I had Black Widow give birth, I just said after some time her pups were laying beside herXD

Ninja's heart throbs out of his chest. He grits his teeth when he sees Linda clenching and trembling. They're coming! His instincts are screaming at him that this it. The birthing process has commenced. He tries to remain calm but when he shuffles his feet it makes his excitement and restlessness noticable. He encourages Linda to push and breath through the pain.

Saffron got out of the burrow and smiled

Linda uses all of her strength, tensing up tightly and gritting her teeth. After about a minute and a lot of effort, Linda delivers the first pup. The pains dies down slightly and Linda cleans the newborn off. She shows the pup to Ninja and smiles down at the infant warmly, yet weakly.

Ninja's eyes are open in joy when they lay upon the pup. He smiles warmly at the adorable bundle of joy. He sniffs at it and nuzzles it gently. The first of more of their children to come. He churrs with delight excited that this is happening in front of his 2 eyes. It's the second time he's getting to see offspring he fathered with a female. He looks up at Linda sympathically. He can tell the pain is ebbing at her energy but has faith in her that she'll stay strong through out this whole ordeal.

The pain increases again, and Linda tenses up again. After a long, painful hour, four more pups are delivered, equalling a litter of five. She can still feel there is one more pup though, and takes the moment of decreased pain between giving birth to clean the pups and cuddle with them. She's exhausted, but she knows she can't stop here.

Ninja's eyes well up with even more joy as 4 more pups enter into the world. He helps Linda lick them clean, then afterwards, gives them each a nurturing nuzzle. He churrs happily. He can't take his eyes off of them this was a dream he's been hoping for and it's happening in front of him right now. He looks at Linda smiling proudly. He doesn't know another one is yet to come.

Linda cuddles her pups some more and looks at Ninja weakly but with a smile. Her belly is still bulged from the final pup, but she's noticeably smaller now. Her breathing picks up again and she tenses up. This one may take the most effort.

Ninja is surprised when he sees Linda tensing up again. What? Another pup is on the way? He had thought these 5 were it but it appears one more is about enter the world. He bounces up and down in excitement. They had a feeling this was going to be a large litter and turned out that it is. He nuzzles Linda as a way of trying to soothe her as she struggle through the pain of delivering the last pup.

Linda winces, too in pain to speak. She summons all of her strength and delivers the last pup, making a litter of six. She finishes giving birth and cleans the pups. After doing that, she eases up and sighs relaxed as the labor pains quickly go away. She curls around the healthy litter of six she's just delivered and shows Ninja, a proud smile on her face, Finally, finally, she is a mother.

Ninja gently cuddles Linda as she uses all of her strength for the last pup. He nuzzles her lovingly after the sixth pup is delivered. He helps her to clean up the pup then like the other 5, gives it a nurturing nuzzle. He looks at Linda smiling proudly and nuzzles her lovingly again. They're now officially proud parents of a litter of 6 healthy pups.

Linda nuzzles Ninja back affectionately and calms down. She brings the pups close to her to feed and lays on her side. She's exhausted.

Ninja looks down at the pups joyfully. They all appear to be healthy and no complications have arised from the birthing process. He sighs also feeling relaxed now. His heart rate has slowed and his body has stopped shaking. He lays beside his newborns and Linda feeling exhausted himself. The excitement has taken alot out of him but he imagines Linda must feel even more drained.

Linda churrs relaxed as the pups feed. She nuzzles each of the pups and rests her head next to Ninja's. The process of giving birth has drained all of her energy.

Duke looks into the burrow. It's been a long time. He peeks his head into the burrow entrance, faintly smelling newborn pups.

Ninja sighs in content. He moves his head, facing it towards Linda and the pups. He can see how exhausted Linda is and knows she'll need to take things easily for the rest of the day. He smiles at the feeding pups happily. It'll be a few weeks before he and Linda begin to recognize their features on their precious generation.

Linda churrs and tends to their pups. One of them starts to crawl towards their father, even though they're blind.

Aliya remains above ground. She won't go near Linda's pups unless she lets her. She would never harm them, but know Linda could be suspicious.

Emzio is also above ground, but not having seen Linda for over an hour, she's nervous.

Suri is also nervous for Linda's sake.

Ninja smiles happily. He gently pulls the pup over to him and snuggles with the little bindle of joy. He looks at Linda happy he got to be here for her when this precious moment took place.

Conker shuffles his feet. It's been an hour and Linda still hasn't emerged. He sighs worried.

Fly shifts her paws. She's come to look up to Linda. Most of the meerkats she had gotten close to in the past were dead... No, all of them... (or so she thinks... XD)

Linda is hungry again from the draining birthing process, and she's starting to run out of milk. She attempts to get up, trusting their father in the pups care, but lays right back down with a painful grunt. She's too sore to move at the moment.

Duke is patient and performing sentry duty. He understands their situation, and lets them be.
