Roleplay- 3rd of December

*Wondering what the mongoose would do, Velmarie nudged it gently with her nose.*

Ninja jerks back as Velmarie nudges it. If the female yellow mongoose responds aggressively, he'd be glad to give it a wide birth. He understands how protective mothers can get when pregnant and after they have given birth, as he is a mate to one and has seen for himself the mood swings Linda has been through as well as other pregnant and new mother meerkats he's been around. They can be unpredictable and they must use caution and respect this mother to be if she doesn't want them near her.

Emzio is by Cloud and is also looking at the mongoose. She had also never seen one before, but was amazed by how much it looked like a meerkat.

Suri also looks at the mongoose, wary. She hadn't seen one in a long time. Not since she was a pup.

Aliya watches the mongoose. Being pregnant, she could be a threat to the group, but for now, the mongoose seemed fine. Aliya had always liked mongooses and didn't want to harm her unless neccessary.

Linda approaches and sniffs the mongoose. It hisses slightly and backs away, heading in the other direction.

Ninja watches as the mongoose takes off. He had a feeling they'd be met with some kind of aggression but understands she's only protecting herself and her unborn litter. Even if she had attacked, they should just allow the mongoose to get her point across and let her leave in peace so as to not endanger her litter.

Conker sounds a small gasp in surprise whilst backing up a few steps. The Mongoose's agression frightened him but at the time intrigued him. He bobs his head as he sees it leave.

*Velmarie agreed with Conker, she hissed, giving out spit-calls to the mongoose.*

Conker looks at Velmarie a bit confused. He was only curious about the yellow mongoose but her agression display gives him the gist that it shouldn't be approached and treated as a threat.

Saffron walks up to the Mongoose and bit its foot playfully

Conker peeps concerned about Saffron going near the mongoose. He doesn't want her to get hurt.

The mongoose hisses and snaps at Saffron, but misses and walks away.

Linda pulls Saffron away, undertsanding the mongooses' aggression, which wasn't much different than her own when she was still pregnant.

*Velmarie's opinion was that the mongoose was dangerous, she tried to protect Conker and Saffron.*

Conker keeps his distance. He doesn't understand that the mongoose's act of agression was to protect her unborn litter. Like Velmarie, he sees the animal as a threat stays close to Velmarie for protection.

Ninja does nothing as the mongoose snaps at Saffron. He doesn't want to endanger the yellow mongoose's litter and understands she's acting on her protective maternal instincts.

John also watched. He would of charged in, until he had taken notice at the mongoose's swelled belly. Having seen that before, it made him realize she was pregnant. Much like everyone else, he desired not to cause harm to the mongoose, and understood she was only following her instincts to protect herself and her unborn litter. One day, the pups would understand. But for now, it was wise to leave the mongoose alone before she could end up attacking and becoming a threat.

*Velmarie tried to lead Conker away, this mongoose may not want to play today.*
Velmarie: Come on, let's go play somewhere else.

Conker nods and follows Velmarie away from the mongoose. He knows better to keep his distance and won't do anything to make the large bellied animal further uncomfortable.

Saffron peepes to Conker as she saw him walk away she then runs up and playfully bites his tail

Occ-There still Cute together!

Conker yips in surprise whilst whipping around to see who nipped at his tail. He sees Saffron and bats at her playfully.

*Velmarie churped, wanting to join in.*

John watched as Conker and Saffron played with a smile. It was good to see they were still able to play even after Ghost's attempted murder toward Conker. He snorts a bit and starred into the distance, as if glaring at Ghost, despite the fact the rover was long gone. And hopefully, he would never come back.

Occ-Sadly Saffrons almost an Adult but i could decrese her age ^^

Saffron smiled at Velmarie and tryed to pinn her down and peeped for Conker to help her.

*Velmarie squealed, trying to tickle Safron.*

ooc: How old is Saffron? I imagined her to be a pup about Conker's age.

Conker peeps inviting Velmarie to join in the playfight. He's acting pretty perky for someone who was nearly killed by rover several minutes ago but he's made a quick mental recovery and the only thing on his mind now wanting to play.

Ninja watches Conker, Velmarie and Saffron play amused. He's amazed at how quickly Conker recovered from Ghost's attempted murder. He doesn't appear to be traumatized at all. Thinking about the attack has his bloode boiling. The next time Ghost attempts murder on a pup, he'll pay dearly for his coldhearted deed.

ooc- I think Saffron is Fly's age. 7 months, so more like almost a teenager than almost an adult.

ic- Linda watches as the mongoose leaves, wishing her luck. She turns her attention to the playing pups with a smile. For better or worst, their pups might end up that energenic and playful as they age.

Duke was watching the mongoose, and starts to forage again as it leaves.

John grinned at Conker, surprised at his fast recovery. Conker would be a great member of the mob if he was able to recover from an attack that fast. He also felt his blood boil in anger at what Ghost had attempted. He would of been more enraged if he had learned that Ghost had managed to greatly injure a pup in the Tiny Kat splinter group the Comets. Weather that pup was the Jumaa's pup or not, John would still further get angry and hate Ghost all the more.
