Roleplay- 16th of December

As night fell, Rahkshi retreated back underground, walking over to Black Widow... He had been leaving in and out, but this time he intended to stay with her for good... Even if it could mean death for him, by means of his father's family...

Black Widow feels more comforted now that her man is by her side. She leans over and nuzzles him affectionately. From seeing him hang around the Midnights more frequently, it looks like he's intending to immegrate in to be with her, something she'd be delightful about.

bic: Rahkshi smiled, and returned the nuzzle... He certainly did plan to do that... He glanced at the pups curiously...

Asuka looks back at Rahkshi, her steel blue eyes showing curiosity. Who was this? She was clearly Black Widow's daughter all right, being the same color as her mother. However, she still didn't know Black Widow was her true mother. She still was convinced Teetsie was her mother. But she was coming to see Black Widow as a close second mother.

Black Widow scootches a bit closer to Rahkshi, in the mood to snuggle with him. Noticing he's eyeing the pups curiously, she explains to him the pups he's observing are hers even though she knows they aren't convinced she's their mother yet.

Rahkshi glances at Asuka... Black pups were something he was used to... It was a gene he actually carried, it didn't show in his fur... But it did come from his father... He was sure that the pup was Black Widow's, although he didn't know for sure...

Sockdolager eyed Rahkshi and noticed him looking at Asuka. He stepped infront of his sister in a mistrustful stance. He may have been small, but when it came to his sister, size didn't matter to him.

Seeing Sockdolager post himself protectively in front of Asuka, Black Widow affectionately nuzzles Rahkshi, as a way of showing the younsters the male can be trusted. Eventually, they'll learn who to be concerned about and who to trust by observing the adults' body langauge towards or around a stranger.

Rahkshi smirks at the brave young pup and returns the grooming in a loving way... But slightly rough, as usual... (kinda like Kaina XD Actually... Kaina is his younger half-aunt O.o)

Watching her brother stand protectively in front of her makes Asuka look at him in an awed way. He was willing to stand up to an adult male meerkat to protect her? She had such a brave brother! She'll defiantly try to be braver like him! Watching Black Widow nuzzle Rahkshi makes her feel more relaxed. If she trusted him, so could she and Sockdolager.

Black Widow smiles proudly at her son. He's shown he won't hesitate to defend the ones he cares about with his life. It reminded her of how her father was, courageous, protective and willing to lay down his life to ensure his family's survival. Sockdolager certaintly has some of her father's traits. Some day, he's going to be a reliable and valuable member of the group. Black Widow churrs with pleasure at the rough grooming. For most, it'd be uncomfortable but it's pure pleasure for this tough meerkat.

Sockdolager smiled sheepishly back, he had just been doing what came naturally to him. He didn't even expect much a response.

Rahkshi glances at the pup again... He could have potential... He knows what Makuta would want him to do but isn't going to do that...

Kassy heads below and is about to enter Black Widows chamber but sees Rahkshi and hisses, she slowly backed out of the tunnel and dug a small hole and lay down, alone.

Rahkshi glances at Kassy as she leaves and snickers... He begins grooming Black Widow again...

Kassy growled loudly as she heard snickering, she assumed it came from Rahkshi and she hissed loudly, she moved into the chamber across from Black Widows and lay down, watching Rahkshi closely through narrowed eyes.

Rahkshi turned and stared at Kassy through his ice-blue eyes for a moment.

Black Widow glances at Kassy as she heard her hiss then shifted her eyes over to Rahkshi, which the hiss was directed towards. What was that show of hostility about? She doesn't understand why Kassy is acting so harshly towards him. She doesn't see any problems with him at all. Rahkshi is a charming male who deserves respect but she knows not EVERYONE will like him for some reason. She shakes her head, ignoring Kassy's unnecissary rudeness and exchanges tender grooming with her prince charming.

Kassy growls and storms out of her chamber, she kicks dust in Black Widows chamber as she goes past, shes infuriated and can't see why Black Widow can't see how much trouble he is.

Asuka coughed a bit when the dust was kicked in the chamber. What was that about?! She snorts and coughs some more. She doesn't understand what was going on at all. Why was Kassy so mad and why did she kick the dust in here?! She covers her eyes and nose, or, tries to and continued to cough.

Kassy lay down, tears streaming from her eyes, she looks at the ground, and paws at it softly, she looked around for Eztli and whined realizing he was still above ground, she surfaced and looked at him before going over and resting her head on his shoulder.

Some of the sand gets up Black Widow's nose, causing her erupt into a sneezing fit. She growls in disapproval after expelling the irritating grains from her nostrils. That was NOT necissary! It angered her even more when the dust generated by Kassy's kick wafted into her childrens' fragile lungs. The dust could damage their sensitive resperatory system! Apparently, that risk never entered Kassy's mind. She pulls her children close, directing a scowl at the chamber entrance. She will not tolerate Kassy displaying such disrespect towards her man or her kids.

Rahkshi growls at Kassy... Not amused... He's tempted to go after her and tear her to pieces but he's too tired right now...

Black Widow begins cleaning the sand from her pups' furs, using her nose to brush it off and her tongue to remove any grains engulfed in their coats. After seeing Kassy endanger her mate and children, she'll be keeping her under tight survailance when she's around them from now on.

Asuka wheezed and coughed a bit, before she finally stopped. That was uncalled for! She lets Black Widow clean the dust and dirt that collected onto her fur. She looked at her mother questioningly. Why did she do that?
