Roleplay- 16th of December

Running Star smiled and gently scent marked Fable, she hipslammed Peachy aswell, still keeping her eyes locked on Peachy she walked away.

Tosca sighed, maybe they should leave Zippers territory, she was thinking about visiting a group she'd heard about, The Willows, from what she had heard, they were an awesome family.


Shakespeare nods and gets up, he begins to forage for his last morsals

Peachy congratulates Fable with a friendly nuzzle. She's now an official member of the Zippers! Peachy slinks down low after being hipslammed. She grovels at Running Star's feet while simultaneously grooming her submissively.

Alfonso squeaks cheerfully, happy that Fable was granted permission to join the group.

Fable feels relieved as she was accepted. She titled her head as Peachy was hipslammed. What was that about?

Peachy looks at Fable with a guilty conscience and peeps, a bit ashamed of herself, explaining that she has a bad habit of falling for the irresistable charms of amurous rovers. She had gotten pregnant from an encounter with Ironwood and she's been caught getting cozy with Shakespeare and Dasher, so she's at risk of getting pregnant again. That's why she's under constant watch by Running Star, especially now that the stern dominant is pregnant. If Peachy were to fall pregnant around the time Running Star gives birth, she could pose a threat to the dominant's pups and be at risk of getting evicted from the group.

Fable listens to Peachy's tale and nods in understanding. Sounds common. At least Peachy was being more careful.

Dasher was partly buried in a hole, smelling some tasty and wanted to see what awaited underground. He was unaware of Fable's presence.

Faith smiles welcomingly at Fable and then gets back to foraging, careful not to trip over. Having only three legs could make foraging difficult.

Peachy is relieved Fable didn't scowl her. She really is working on being more careful and has been staying close to the group as she forages. She vows from this day on, rovers will fail to attract her. But for this male crazy female, that's easier said than done. She's known to be a push over with males and will most likely give in to their charms.

Alfonso has returned to foraging. He munches on a beetle happily.

Faith quickly scoffs down a small millipede.

Remembering she was still peckish, Fable starts to resume her forging. Now she was in the safety of a group. Finally...

Dasher comes out of his hole, carrying two scorpions by the stingers. What a lucky find in his option. He wastes no time in disarming the critters and began to devour one, keeping the other from escaping by keeping his good paw on it. Not hard enough to kill it, but it wouldn't be able to escape.

Still feeling ravenous, Peachy proceeds with foraging. Not a moment too soon, she unearths a skink and devours it happily. With that said about her promise, she makes sure to stay within the midst of the foraging party, sticking close to the Zipper's males. She trusts they'll give any loitering strange male a beat down if they attempt anything.

Alfonso rises on his backlegs, taking a survey of the area before resuming his forage.

Faith continues foraging happily, hoping to find more decent food.

Snipe, watching as Fable was aceppted, just shrugged and burrowed into the ground, finding nothing. Growling, she stocked over by Dasher, unaware that he was there, and started to dig again. Soon, the sand started flying in Dasher's direction. Snipe was on the trail of something delicious, she could smell it.

Peachy unearths a beetle and devours it quickly. Still feeling ravenous, she moves on to another spot to dig, remaining close to the group as she did so.l

Alfonso finds a small skink and scarfs it down happily.

*Nala foraged ravenously, eating more than she normally did. She was happy Fable was accepted into the group.*

Faith continues foraging.

Peachy's next foraging spot is located under the shade of a large, bushy drie doring shrub, and she discovers the location to be abundant with beetles, ants, and spiders. She dines on them happily.

Alfonso has moved to forage in a patch of low grass. Frustratingly, this Kalahari pantry is coming up empty for him.

Running star continued foraging but as she came up empty she yawned and glanced at the deep pink sky, home soon, she moved over to where Peachy was foraging and she found a large spider, she stood her ground and growled defensively before she hip slamming Peachy out of the way.

Shakespeare yawned and headed for the Linklu mob's territory

ooc: I dunno if you're aware of this but the Linklu role play is 6 months ahead of DW. They'd time travellingXD

Reluctantly though humbly, Peachy lets Running Star steal her spider. It's a much wiser choice to submit than become combative towards the viciously ravenous leader and risk getting evicted, especially now that she's pregnant. Peachy knows that she's at risk of being evicted now that Running Star is expecting, so she's determined to do what ever it takes to stay on her good side.

Alfonso finally finds something in the grass, a grasshopper. Swiftly, the excited pup snatches it with his jaws then devours it happily.

Hearing Running Star's call, Dasher manages to devour the last scorpion he got and began to limp after the dominant female.

Fable frowns a little. She didn't even get to eat at all! Sighing, she stood up and began to follow Running Star either way. There was always tomorrow.

Peachy follows Running Star, but at a distance. With the possibility of getting evicted on her mind, she doesn't notice the ground squirell as she dwells on her concerns.

Hearing Running Star announce lead calls to head home, Alfonso stops foraging and follows, eager to get back to the burrow. Though this day was tranquil for the Zippers, he's exhausted for some reason.

Reaching the smell, Snipe's claws scraped over something white. She growled savagely, and pulled up a turtle egg. She knew where there was one, there were many. Pushing the turtle egg behind her, she dug for more, using the same tactic. She failed to notice Running star's call, and had pulled up more than she could eat anyways. Scrambling out of the hole, she almost attacked an egg. After tearing it open, she famishedly lapped up the yolk. The sticky substance dripping, she moved onto the next egg, and tore into it.

Veen had run a long way, and lay down under a bush, panting. He napped, and soon woke up, yawning. Hey- he could smell a group! Slinking to the sound and scent of the zippers, he seen the group foraging. Hopefully, he would have better luck. Suddenly, a she-kat let out a lead call. Beetle dung! This past week, luck had been smacking him in the face. He decided he would hang around, and began to follow the group from a safe distance, when a sudden movement from the ground caught his eye. Could it be? Luck coming back to patch up his smacked face? (Erm....wtf...theres two squirrels making babies on the rabbit hutch... XD jeeze guys, could ya do it somewhere else!?!!?) He made sure there were no others lingering, and then slunk up to the lone she-kat. He then seen what she was doing- dining on turtle eggs. He churred to her, standing on his fours with a charm on his face.

ooc: Bluuh...can we lay off the rovers after this? They're appearing like ever RP day and it's getting kind of annoying.

ooc: oh, yes, of course- sorry, ill keep Veen inactive for a few RP days after this.

ooc: Ok. We're also still trying to stablize the groups' numbers by dispersing inactive characters. Alot of them are at super group status so the chances of a rover getting lucky will decrease the higher the group number. I think we should go by that. The Zippers are at 26 members. Pretty impressive but not yet at super group status. They could be if Running Star gives birth to a large litter, followed by a sub being allowed to give birth in the group.
