Starburst nodded and chin-swiped the female.

As Takyra is accepted, Carnation utters a joyful churr. She congratulates the female with a friendly nose touch, her way of welcoming her into the mob.

PK and Kal both calm down when Takyra was accepted in the group, but both still watch her closely.

Ruby and Sacha watch her, both smiling.

Carnation feels more comfortable being around Takyra now. She's proven herself trustworthy by making a submissive first impression, so there's nothing to worry about, right?

Turahn went over to greet the newcomer, smiling.

Ring of Fire pretended to not be interested. (XD)

ooc: Have they been led out yet?

ooc: Yes and they're still foraging.

Maple smiles as Takyra is accepted in. She chirps a welcome to the new female.

Carnation makes one last glance at Takyra before proceeding to forage.

Convinced that Takyra is not a threat, PK smiles welcomingly to her and follows his brother Turahn in the greeting.

Kal gets back to foraging, no longer interested in this new member.

Sacha and Ruby also get back to foraging.

Carnation spots a beetle crawling across the sand and quickly, but gently, grasps the insect in her jaws. Instead of claiming it for herself, she generously delivers it to Takyra.

Maple smiled as Carnation offered Takyra a beetle. She starts to forge herself, feeling very peckish.

ooc: We need to get this group caught up so we can start the new day.

Carnation proceeds with foraging, this time intending to find one last meal for herself before Starburst sounds the calls to head home.

Kal digs for food ravenously.

Sacha and Ruby also dig.

Maple does the same, wanting at least one meal before going back to the burrow.

Carnation stops digging, realizing this spot lacks the scent of prey. With her nose trained on the ground, she tries to pick up a scent elsewhere.

Kal eats a scorpion quickly.

Sacha eats a small beetle.

Ruby eats a millipede.

Carnation detects the scent of a milliede under the shade of a bush. She digs rapidly into the ground, unveiling the scrumtious morsel 10 seconds later. She rolls the millipede along the ground, stripping her prey of its protective toxic coating, then devours it happily.

Maple began to dig as she smelled something underground. Looked like this could be the meal she wanted before they would go home.

Her hunger satisfied for the day, Carnation goes to relax under the shade of a bush and wait for Starburst to sound the calls to head home.

Kal continues digging ravenously for food.

Ruby also continues digging for food.

Sacha goes in the shade, full.

Kiki continues foraging near Kal.

Felicity forages near Penny.

Penny digs near Red and Felicity.

To pass the time, Carnation grooms herself, getting rid of dirt and prey juices from her paws and fur.

Kal stays by Kiki as he digs, doing his best not to stray too far away from her in his search for food.

Carnation pays more attention to her paws as she grooms herself. They're drenched in sand and body fluids from her prey.
