Roleplay- 16th of December

Ezio and his brothers are unaware of Dolly's discovery.

Ezio and Federico scan the area.

Petruccio continues watching the birds.

Soon enough Cyanide's mystery morsel is revealed...a scorpion. An uncommon find but not enviouslessly rare. The second the scorpion detects Cyanide's presence, it raises its stinger in defense but the vicious little pup is swift and pummels her prey mercilessly with her front paws until limp. Once she makes sure the scorpion is dead, She snatches it off the ground and devours it quickly, stinger and all.

Isis claws the egg harshly, attempting to break through the shell. Luckily, the shell cracks and she bites at the crack, soon breaking several pieces of it off, some of the liquid inside leaking out. She sticks her snout into the egg and began to lick up the tasty liquids inside.

Dolly's eyes widen as she realizes what Isis has discovered. She charges for the hole, swiftly grabs a tortoise egg, and trots to a drie doring bush so she can eat the rare food undisturbed. Now Dolly has to crack the egg shell. That's the hard part.

Cyanide turns and moves in the opposite direction of the location Isis discovered the eggs. She's picked up another delicious scent and is determined to seek out its location, so is unaware that Isis had begun to attract attention after finding the tortoise eggs.

Ezio and Federico continue to scan the area, not bothered by the foraging members.

Petruccio is also not bothered and is still peacefully watching the starlings. One of them flies away and leaves a feather behind. Petruccio approaches the feather and smells it before picking it up with his mouth and cheerfully returning back to his brothers.

Isis finishes with her first egg, licking her lips and licking off any liquid or yolk that was on her muzzle. She grabs another egg and began to claw at it again to crack its shell. She wasn't in anyway guarding these eggs for herself. There was no way she could eat all those eggs by herself.

Suddenly, Cyanide spots a flash of scales in a bush. She crouches low and stalks over to the bush. Suddenly, a lizard comes dashing out from under it, targeting Cyanide's chase instincts. She bolts after the lizard, pouncing on it as she got close, and kills it, then devours it quickly.

Too engrossed in cracking her tortoise egg, Dolly doesn't notice Cyanide's catch. She is trying to puncture it, but the egg just keeps on slipping through her teeth. At last, Dolly gets a firm grip on her meal and manages to break it open. Suprised by her own strength, she digs into her prize.

Ezio looks at Petruccio's feather with interest. He found his brothers antics odd, but all the same interesting.

Federico continues scanning the area, ignoring his surroundings.

Petruccio proudly looks at his brothers, especially Ezio who had noticed his feather.

Detecting the scent of something alluringly delicious, Cyanide surveys the area, trying to locate the source. Her eyes meet Isis and the tortoise eggs. Licking her lips, she bounds over eagerly and claims an egg of her own, using her snout to nudge the egg to a safe location where she can dine on it in peace.

Isis gets the egg cracked open and puts her muzzle into it, licking up the liquids once more. Who knew a turtle/tortoise would be dumb enough to lay her eggs near a meerket burrow? Oh well, more tasty eggs for them.

After Dolly has finished her delicacy, she tries to go for another egg, but halts when she sees a small bird, not a threat, and wonders if it would make a good meal. She looks at Petruccio and his feather thoughtfully. Could the bird be the source of Petruccio's feather?

Cyanide attempts to crack open the egg's shell using her jagged fangs, but her small teeth aren't sharp nor is her jaw powerful enough to break the delecacy's outter layer. She utters low frustrated growls as she persistantly and desperately tries to gain access to the yummy yolk inside.

Ezio notices Dolly eyeing the bird, with what looked like a hungry look. He pulls Petruccio close to him. He could get upset if he saw Dolly attack the bird.

Federico continues scanning the area, not noticing Dolly or Ezio's protective behaviour.

Petruccio is caught by surprise, still holding his prized feather in his mouth. Assuming Ezio was just giving him a hug, he hugs him back.

Isis finishes her second egg. Man, that really hit the spot! She then took notice of Cyanide attempting to break an egg of her own. The female eyes a nearby rock. It wasn't too big, nor too small. She peeps to Cyanide, telling her about the rock. She could hit the egg against it to crack the egg. Not too hard though, otherwise the egg would completely break and it'd be hard to get the liquids and the yolk once they were on the ground.

Cyanide averts her eyes from the egg as she heard Isis chirp. Seeing her gesture to a rock, she cracks a smirk finding her suggestive egg breaking method to be brilliant. Using her snout, Cyanide rolls her egg over to the rock and bangs it against the hard object mutiple times until the egg breaks open. She plesantly begins laping up the tasty yolk.

Dolly lunges for the bird, baring her teeth. She does not realize she may upset Petruccio by eating the bird. Dolly's prey flaps away, and she growls in frustration. She sits still, stiff and alert. The bird thinks it's safe and flys back within range. Without warning, Dolly charges and viciously pins down her rare prey.

Isis hears the sound of wings and looks over, noticing Dolly had pinned down a bird. Ah, another rare morsel among meerkats. She grins evilly, awaiting for Dolly to do the killing blow on the bird.

Hearing the tortured squawks of a bird, Cyanide looks up from her egg, her muzzle and face caked with yolk, to see Dolly tormenting the helpless animal. She watches with an entertained smirk, waiting for Dolly to mercilessly kill her winged prey.

Ezio pulls Petruccio even closer to him, and covers his face. He watches Dolly with shock. He wanted to do something to stop her, for Petruccio's sake, but was worried about him and his brothers losing a position in the group.

Petruccio can hear the flapping and the screeching of the bird. He whimpers and hugs his brother, applying a tighter grip and buries his face into his chest. His feather is still in his mouth, hanging effortlessly.

Federico's head jolts towards the sound of the bird, flapping. He sees Dolly and the bird and watches with shock. He sidesteps towards his brothers in a protective manner and watches from there.

Wolfang had been watching this small group of females eat eggs. He glanced over, and seen one attacking a bird. ooh- saucy, he thought, a smirk on his face. He got up and worked his way twards the female ending the bird, and crept behind a small patch of grass, almost next to Dolly. After she had killed the bird, he tenderly chirped to her.

When the horrid sound of flapping stops, Petruccio sighs sadly, and quietly sobs, tears streaming down his face. He still has his arms wrapped around Ezio and his face buried in his chest. It wasn't only due to his love for birds that he was upset, he had always given decent respect to other creatures, even his prey of which he always killed quickly and humanely. He just didn't like death, no matter what the form, especially since the death of his father.

Ezio sighs, feeling sympathy for the bird. Unlike many of the group members, the bird was innocent and was not deservant of such a cruel death. He eyes Dolly disdainfully and looks down at his brother, feeling awful. He was frustrated with Dolly's sudden change of heart and wished he could make his brother feel better about the situation.

Federico stays close to his brothers. He could hear Petruccio quietly sobbing and turns to him. He chrrs to him, trying to calm him down and nuzzles him. He also didn't like how the bird had been treated, but knew there was nothing they could have done. At least not without causing trouble amongst the members and further endangering their positions in the group.

With a quick jab at a major blood vessel, the bird has been killed. Dolly is about to take her first bite when she hears a chirp and spins around, surprised, with her fur raised and her tail straight up. When Dolly spots the unusual form of Wolfang, her fur flattens out of curiousity. She could still raise the alarm at any moment if she decides not to mate with the rover.

Isis grins evilly, proud of Dolly. Her transformation had been showing great promise. However, as she watched Dolly, she notices a change in her and seems to of spotted something. Another prey perhaps? Isis fails to notice its a rover looking to get lucky with a female.
