Roleplay - 28th of August, 2009

Keeko dashed after Buckeye, diving into the bolt-hole.
Miley looked up fearfully, before quickly running off, in the other direction. She called out for Verneice and Hutch.

Hearing Miley's calls, Verneice called for Hutch and ran after Miley. The three found cover under a thorn bush. The agale, not seeing any easy meal, flew away.

**Do you want me to play Tuck. Also, are there any other characters currently not being played by an active member?

ooc: I forgot I was playing him. Thanks!
Tuck is up for permanent adoption, if you want him you can have him, otherwise I will continue to play him.
As for unplayed characters, there are a lot of unnamed pups if you'd like one.

bic: Miley peered upwards, nervous that the eagle would return. Tuck sat by her feet, shaking fearfully. Once she was sattisfied it was safe, Miley looked out for Keeko and Buckeye, bu to her dissmay, she couldn't see them.
Keeko chrred to Buckeye, he will go and see if the eagle had gone. He poked his head out of the burrow, and to his relief, the coast was clear. He chirped to Buckeye, letting her know it was safe.

Buckeye chirped back, glad that they wee safe. But now, tehy had a problem. The group was seperated, and with everyone in the splinter very young, it wouldn'y be good if they were caught by an enemy. The group has never been this small since it first formed, and Buckeye is worried. She began making locating calls, trying t find the missing emmbers. She stood on a branch, looking around for any sight of her family.

Over at the splinter, Verneice came out of the burrow, Hutch taking up behind. She looked around and called for the other to come around.

Miley appeared from the burrow. She looked around. As the oldest here, she took it upon herself to take charge. She sat down, trying to think what to do next. The smartest thing to do would be to return to the burrow where the pups were.
Keeko chirped to Buckeye. They would find them. He climbed untop of a prickly shrub to get a better view, and looked around. But he couldn't see them.

ooc: Wait... Are any of the pups adopted? O.o

Well I'm playing the three females, but you can play any of them if you want

Verniece made sure Tuck and Hutch were all together and collected in the group. Miley and Verneice were the only adults in this group of four. Verneice followed Miley's lead, as she was the oldest.

Buckeye decided to best option was to abandon feeding for today and return home to the burrow. Maybe they'd be able to all return home by night.

The females in the liter were getting hyper and needed feeding. They went to crash for some support.

ooc: The three females are named Grace, Gretel and Glade. I'm not sure who atb2700 plans on keeping, so you will have to ask him. The male, named Golly Gosh, is being played by me.

bic: Keeko nodded. He bounded along beside Buckeye.
Miley chrred thankfully to Verneice, and then called to the others, leading them home.
Crash heard the pups and chirped to them. He hugged them, but he wasn't a female, and couldn't provide any milk.

Buckeye was the first to reach the burrow and went below to feed the pups. She chirped for Keeko to be there. She went to Crash and groomed him. Thank you! But now they had to wait for the others to return home.

At the splinter group, Verneice kept sentry as she and Miley tried to find their way home with the youngsters.

Crash chirped to Buckeye, and nodded. He looked over her shoulder. Where's Miley?
Keeko chrred quietly. They were split. They couldn't find the others, but hopefully, they would head back to the burrow.
With the others, Miley called to the others to stop. She had spotted a burrow, but was unsure whether it was the Willows or not.

Verneice volunteered to investigate. She checked below, but found no sign of life. She chirped to Miley upon returning above ground, and told the pups to stay close. It was getting late. What should we do?

Miley looked over her shoulder. She was desperate to get home! She called to the others, and led them off in a different direction.
Crash headed above ground. He was worried that Miley not return. He stood up, keeping an eye out for any movement.

Verneice then spotted movement in the distance, over in Midnight terriotry. It looked like two adults and pups. She sounded the alarm, keeping their own youngsters in toe.

Miley stopped. She had spotted the others. She called urgently to the others. They were in no position to fight.

Verneice followed Miley, making sure the group didn't follow. But suddenly, she heard smething that made her heart sink. An owl. She looked and saw it in the direction they were heading. There was only one thing to do... head in the direction of the Midnights territory. She called to Miley.

Buckeye groomed Keeko. She was worried. Her pups were all fast asleep, and she, Keeko, and Crash were all sitting above ground waiting for the others to return. She looked to Keeko. Should we go look for them?

Miley saw the owl and turned around and run towards the bolt-hole. She didn't care that the others were there, she had to get the others to safety. Tuck followed along behind.
OOC: We should move this to the Midnights.
BIC: Keeko looked at Buckeye. They should, but it would be dangerous. They should look tomorrow.

Ok sounds good

Buckeye agreed, but reluctantly. She layed down in the sand, next to Splash and Crash.

Keeko sat close to Buckeye, hoping to calm her.
Crash stayed vigilant, hoping to see his sister.

Losing hope of them returning home tonight, Buckeye went below ground to check on the pups.

Keeko followed Buckeye. Crash stayed above ground to look out for his sister.
When Buckeye entered the chamber, Golly Gosh, her son, chrred quietly. Though he couldn't see, he could sense her presence.

Buckeye walked over to Golly Gosh and his sisters and began to nurse them. She was stressed, however. Soon, her milk supply would run out. And with four young pups, one juvenile, and 3 adults, the situation was looking bleak.

Golly Gosh snuggled into his mother's fur, oblivious to the danger.
Keeko chirped to Buckeye. It would be okay.

Buckeye chirped to Keeko, and then layed down. It would be hard to sleep tonight.

Nearby, Miley was leading the group back towards the burrow. She kept stopping, to make sure everyone was keeping up.
Not far behind them, Zozane was still bounding along happily. She stopped, and it wasn't until now that she realised that she couldn't see Tallulah, Dusk, Dawn or Nakpana. Panicing, she let out a shrill cry.
Miley stopped imeadiately, instinctively running towards the sound. She found Zozane, and growled to herself. Unwilling to leave the pup by herself, she piked her up, continuing towards the burrow.
