Jade and Mist Yawned

Fay layed down

Antebellum eyed Rania curiously. She seemed like a good kat'. Antebellum chirped, welcoming her, but was waiting for Morning Glory's verdict.

Morning Glory emerged from the burrow having done her share of housework and shook the loose sand from her fur. With the entrance and tunnels slightly wider it would accommodate the small family for another few weeks if necessary.
Stopping to stand on her hind legs the dominant female curiously tilted her head in the direction of the other subordinates and called to Antebellum. What had she seen?

Antebellum responded to her dominant female's chirp by flicking her tail in Rania's direction. She gave a quick nod, as if to give her ok.

Nemo sniffed at Rania. She seemed harmless, given how she was being submissive. He watched her, however. One could never be too sure. She could turn aggressive in a second.

Rania took a few steps back. She was suprised at the friendly welcome she seemed to be recieving. Cautiously she looked in the direction of Morning Glory, she nervously kept her head down and was too frightened to make eye contact.

Splash sulks in the burrow... She's lost alot more weight... She's too timid to go foraging now and has been staying back every day... It could take her life at some point... This is part of being seperated from her love interest, Cloud Catcher.

Miracle watches Rania curiously. She's interested in this female...

Fay Yawned then groomed herself

Fletcher Renn spots Raina. At first, he is intimidated by the new meerkat, and heads for the safety of the burrow. After a few moments, he regains some of his confidence, and joins the adults, puffing out his chest to seem bigger.

Upon seeing the utter lack of bravery Fletcher Renn Rania started to recover some of her brutally shattered confidence. Remaining low she started to work her way over closer to the rest of the other meerkats.

ooc: Has Kirby joined over the skip?

On Antebellum’s call, Morning Glory trotted over the short distance and cast a wary eye down at the new arrival. After the incident with Melrose she couldn’t be too careful, but as the female was clearly remaining submissive her intentions were clearly to join a family and escape the harshness of living alone.
Sniffing for any known group scent, she gently rubbed the top of Rania’s head with her chin and chattered accepting her into the group. Another healthy individual would be a positive influence on the slowly recovering group.

Chester Quavers having awoken later than the adults still remained underground, investigating the network of tunnels and chambers. Interested by the discovery of Splash huddled alone, she cautiously approached, wide eyed hoping to give the older female some company.

ooc: Dipsy is it ok if I still carry on covering CQ?

ooc: I haven't introduced her yet. I plan to bring her in eventually. Probably at some point on this RP day.

Rania nearly collapsed with relief. Meeting the leader went better than she could have imagined. Though as of yet they were all total strangers she couldn't help but feel like she was part of the family, like she belonged. Although, since she didn't have any friends yet she kind of moved off to the side and sat awkwardly, unsure of what to do with herself.

Splash glances at Chester Quavers and peeps quietly... She's grateful for company but probably won't be foraging today...

ooc: Wow, I kinda forgot about her XP I don't want her, so you can keep her if you want. Otherwise, she can be dispersed.

Nemo smiled as Leah is accepted in. He peeps a welcome to her before he took a moment to scan the area. With a small group like this, if something happened, they could be in trouble.

Concerned, Chester Quavers quickly strolled over to the young adult and rubbed her cheek and shoulder against Splash before huddling close beside her. If she was going to stay behind, then it was much safer to stay at the together. It made a nice change for the young female to have someone slightly older than her to look up to. Ever since the fire she had been lonely for others around her age to play and learn with.

Satisfied that Rania was making acquaintances with the other members, Morning Glory looked around with a concerned expression. Her faithful mate hadn’t yet surfaced for the day and some of the younger members were also unusually absent.
Briskly trotting across the sand to the burrow mouth, she stopped near the hole and sniffed into the darkness. If they didn’t emerge soon they’d have to be left behind for the good part of the morning at least.

ooc: Chester Quavers could look up to Splash <3 ^^

Antebellum yawned. She was glad to have Rania in the group. She smiled warmly at her.

Fay Smiled as the new Meerkat was acepted

Splash gives Chester Quavers a small, puppish nuzzle... The only she's ever been close to in the Tiny Kats was Cloud Catcher, it might be useful to be close to someone else... She's unaware of Morning Glory entering the burrow.

Miracle approaches Rania and sniffs her.

Rania slightly lowered herself when Miracle approached. She wasn't sure why she was so socially awkward, she just assumed it was because she lived on her own for so long. She attempted to groom Miracle a bit, she was already starting to get used to being with a family again.

Miracle looks up at Rania and chrrs. She likes this female and has decided to follow her everywhere.

Fletcher Renn, seeing that Raina wasn't a threat, walks up to her and gives her a curious sniff.

Jade walks over to Raina and Grooms her
