Roleplay- 4th of January

Splash cowers a little... She doesn't know Nemo well and is wary of him still... But she doesn't say anything and heads into the burrow...

Panda yawns softly and churrs, she'll babysit if she has to..

Paw glanced at Nemo and narrowed his eyes, for some reason he didn't trust this male..

Splash lies down in the burrow. Nemo is unfamiliar to her, and although she will still stay at the burrow, she'd like to avoid him at all costs...

Miracle is eager to head out, she runs up to Morning Glory, her tail high in the air, her eyes bright and inquisitive.

Fletcher Renn paws at the ground, restless. He was hungry, and eager to get out.

Trusting an accepting Nemo to stay behind and watch over the pups at the burrow, Morning Glory chirped an acknowledging bark to him before trotting along with young miracle at the her side.
Taking a few steps into the grass, the dominant female looked down proudly at the confident female with her bright eyes and her tail held high. These were some of the moments of family life she really cherished and in the back of her mind her thoughts were always plagued by sadness. Her first litter aborted, her second a healthy litter of six torn away from her by wildfire was the desert full of cruelness?
Masking her concern for her potential young developing inside her, Morning Glory continued heading straight in the direction of border with the Midnights. She’d do whatever it took to keep the four pups they had left and Splash as safe from harm as possible.


Chester Quavers gave a startled expression as Stratus got up and left. Wondering if he really was ok after all she looked around at the baby sitters who were left behind. Uneasy she made a scurry back for the safety of the burrow to find where Splash had disappeared to.

ooc: Sorry got caught up with a heavy workload again.

Nemo awknowledges the acceptence with a nod of his head. He didn't quite understand why some of the members didn't trust him. As far as he knew, he had done no wrong. Besides the fact he was an outsider who was accepted in a week ago, he decided not to really worry. They'd warm up to him eventually. He walks to the burrow and stood on his hind legs, scanning the area for any signs of danger.

Miracle bounds playfully right behind Morning Glory, but it careful not to go ahead.

Splash is unaware of Chester Quavers looking for her and trembles...

Stratus followed. He knew times were hard for the Tiny Kats, yet he was concerned with the direction they were heading in as well.

Antebellum nodded softly, glad to have another member in her small group. But, she stuck close to Nemo, feeling comfort in her friend.

ooc: I changed my mind yet again, I want Badru back at the Midnights... This time I won't change my mind...

ooc: Ok no problems Pancake. Maybe as Stratus seems concerned I'll change where they are going if they don't need to find Badru anymore.

Fletcher Renn bounds along, happy to be heading out.

Panda sprawled outside the burrow and smiled as Paw nuzzled her..she nuzzled him back softly and chirped..he'd better catch up with the group

Paw smiled nervously and nodded..he took a second glance at Panda then bounded after the group.

Splash turns around and spots Chester Quavers. She walks over to her slowly... She gives the younger pup a friendly nuzzle... She feels she has a friend now and is feeling a little better... But she misses Cloud Catcher... Eventually she heads above ground again. She gives Nemo a look, one of fear, before lying down to sun herself... Her black patches attract the sun so she gets warmer a little quicker than normal meerkats...

Miracle begins to get a little ahead of the group. She could end up getting separated, but is very excited and eager for today, and therefore isn't really thinking... She stares at the horizon eagerly.

Nemo continues to scan the area, refusing to slack off. He doesn't notice Splash at first, but he sees her from the corner of his eye. However, he continued to ensure no danger was around.

Panda glanced at Splash and she raised her eyebrows..what was the matter? She glanced at Nemo and smiled reassuringly..she then nuzzled Splash.

Splash turns away from Panda, not really trusting her either... She didn't really know Panda that well, in fact, the same goes for most of the meerkats in the group...

Fay,mist,jade stood up and started to scan for troubles

Stopping to reassure Stratus’s concerns, Morning Glory affectionate groomed her mate in appreciation. Maybe he was right and in his condition today maybe heading into the Midnight’s territory was a foolish idea. Taking one last moment to nibble behind his ear, the dominant female rose onto her hind legs and barked a change in contact calls. They were no longer heading in that direction and change course and head back into a familiar area.

Noticing Miracle not standing beside her, Morning Glory began to panic and instantly called out in a anxious tone.


Chester Quavers gratefully accepted the nuzzle from Splash and dropped down beside her on the sand watching the babysitters with interest. She would have felt more comfortable if Stratus had stayed behind but eventually over time would warm to the newer members.
Noticing Splash’s head movement away from Panda, Chester Quavers placed her small head against the older pup caringly.

ooc: Ok... I know I shouldn't be posting too much, but this mob is rather inactive, and I have a plot I want to get moving, so... Let's do this, I guess...

Also, I forgot that Splash has a scar on her side from when Leaf attacked her...

bic: Splash looks over as Chester Quavers preforms a kind gesture... She chrrs a little... Splash has never trusted most of the Tiny Kats, since it was in a battle between the Tiny Kats and Willows that she was injured by Leaf, leading to her being here... Alot of the newer members she didn't know at all, many of the older ones as well... There are a select few she does... But Chester Quavers she trusted now... Splash nuzzles the top of the female's head affectionately... Appreciating the younger pup's company.

Miracle is running ahead still when she very faintly hears Morning Glory's panicked calls. She immediately turns around and runs back, not really aware that she could have been in danger. It's a while before she reaches the group again but eventually does... She stops in front of Morning Glory and looks up at her, smiling, and panting from running as well.

At the foraging patch that the Tiny Kats are headed for, in a bolthole, is a lone female and three pups. Two are stillborn... One, Little Cloud, is alive. Their mother lies beside them, breathing heavily, in a pool of blood. She's close to the end of her life, birth has taken a heavy toll on her. She whimpers, worried for her one pup that is alive. Within ten minutes, her spirit will have departed from her body... The birth has taken a toll on her and her pups... Little Cloud is weak, but still alive, there is hope for her... She whimpers puppishly and crawls to her mother... But gets blood on her fur in the process...

Nemo watches the interaction between Splash and Chester Quavers and smiled. Awwww, how cute! However, he goes back to scanning the area. He couldn't slack off for long, it could be costly. Especially if a predator came.

Whole heartedly relieved to see Miracle scamper through the grass, Morning Glory’s fear began to subside as she gently nuzzled the panting pup. Determined to remain extra cautious from now on over the pup’s safety, the dominant female lovingly nudged Miracle ahead of her and continued in the direction of the foraging patch.

After a short distance, Morning Glory stopped in her tracks and stood onto her hind legs to scan the horizon. If no predators were detected they could spread out and began the repetitive task of digging for breakfast. Eager to get underway, she called out in a series of barks contact calls to the rest of the family.


Chester Quavers smiled warmly at the sound of Splash’s kind gesture. It felt wonderful finally finding someone to enjoy the day with and she could now experience the joys of being a pup again. Out of the corner of her eye, Chester Quavers caught sight of the older female’s scar but accepted it as she accepted Splash for who she was without question. It would always remain a mystery to the young pup that it was her biological mother that had attacked her new friend and that Leaf had long since passed over and become a spirit of the sand.

Miracle squeals, finally they're here! She runs around in circles three times, before walking around to see what every adult in the area is doing. She's very happy today.. For some odd reason. Who knows. She's a pup, therefore playfulness is natural. Miracle runs over to Fletcher Renn and paws at him playfully. The active young female wanted to do something...

Little Cloud sends out cries, frightened by the real world, which was so different from her life before now, and confused on many points. She feels so alone... And there's not much she can do, being a newborn and nothing more. It's unlikely that someone will hear her but they just might...

ooc: I'm gonna say that there's a fourth pup below, that's alive, and give him or her to Elec.

But meh, this is gonna take a long time, X3

Fletcher Renn squealed happily, batting back at Miracle. He nudges her on the shoulder, before sprinting away. Tag, you're it!
