Roleplay - 23rd of September

Pamela keeps snarling at Va.

Continuing to snarl, Va had no choice but open her mouth and release Sanders as the group continued to attack her face.
Ruffled, confused and yet unharmed Sanders fell to the ground with a disgruntled squeak and began agitatedly peeping to the adults.. What were they doing?.
With her mouth empty, Va thrashed with her head snapping at anyone that came in close enough range. Hearing the pup’s persistent call she struggled forward briefly and growled a reply to Sanders...Who’s going to help you find what you’ve lost now! Before being thrust back down against the hard ground.
Hearing Va, Sanders stopped peeping and stared back at the family..Was she talking about Badru?
Had she come to help me? He thought to himself.

Having followed Faeya, Tisca stood next to Nimbus worried about the situation. Being one to loyally stick by the family she called out continuously with contact calls hoping that Morning Glory had followed the rest of the group home.


Not being able to see any danger around or above her, Morning Glory climbed a nearby bush and scanned the horizon. Presuming the call was a false alarm, she called out for the rest of her family unaware they were all back at the burrow mobbing Va.

Wobbling as the branch moved in the gentle breeze, Morning Glory blinked and became agitated that no one was answering her call. Standing stretched to full height, she looked around once again and spotted the outline of a tiny group of meerkats foraging on the face of a sand dune, they were close yet still far enough away from her location not to be yet considered a threat. Inquisitive about this small gathering as they were too few in numbers to be one of the southern mobs that her family had already encountered, Morning Glory climbed down from the bush and continued pressing forwards issuing lead calls. If any Tiny Kats were around she hoped they’d follow.

Having succeededly helped to free Sanders from Va's grip, Karma releases her jaws from her muzzle. She eyes Va with a suspicious glare.

As Va continued to growl and thrash, Sanders padded over to Stratus and gently pawed at his leg.

Nimbus tried to break up the fight. Faeya stayed on centry, keeping her eye out for Morning Glory.

Stratus looked down to Sanders and smiled, glad to see that he was appearantly unharmed.

Bahiya came over and picked Sanders up and carried him back below ground. She'd keep an eye on him for the rest of the day.

Stratus looked around and realized he couldn't see Morning Glory, normally she would be leadng something like this. He made contact calls hoping she would hear.

Pamela growls at Va once more and turns around, looking for Morning Glory.

Karma pads over to the mouth of the burrow then scratches a claw against the ground while glaring at Va warning her that if she or any of the other members of the group catch her sniffing around the pups there will be hell to pay.

Closing the large gap between herself and the wild group of meerkats, Morning Glory bolted as fast as she could in the direction of the sand dunes hoping to get a better look.

Sanders smiled back at Stratus who he regarded as his father and chirped as Bahiya look him back down below. He was safe for now..but what were they going to do with Va?

Tisca looked to Faeya hoping for some news about Morning Glory.

Va snorted back at Karma, still being pinned to the ground.

Karma stands gaurd at the mouth of the burrow looking into the distance wondering if Morning Glory has heard the alarm call earlier and noticed most of the group running towards the burrow. She then glares back at Va. If Morning Glory discovers what Va's been up to, she could face serious consequenses.

Stratus growled at Va, he wouldn't make any noise if he were her.

Karma decides to head below ground to check on Sanders. She peeps to Bahiya then smiles at Sanders relieved to see that he wasnt harmed. She nuzzles him and offers him some grooming.

Pamela climbs and a small tree and looks for Morning Glory from there. Nothing. She starts to feel worried.

Without Morning Glory, the group could lose all sense of control and order. The curent situation was obvious of this concept. Faeya and Nimbus left the group to search for Morning Glory, eager for her leadership. They chirped, hoping someone responsible would take charge for the time being.

Bahiya glanced above ground, she was so glad Cheyenne wasn't around to try and take charge.

Pamela starts making contact calls, in the hope Morning Glory would hear them.

Approaching the dried up river bed Morning Glory could hear the wild group of meerkats chirping to one another on the other side. Hearing their dominant female’s familiar lead calls, Morning Glory instinctively stood on her back legs and looked around. Those calls were calling out to her like they did ever since she was a pup..about to bark back in reply, Morning Glory caught the sight of a bird of prey landing in a withered tree and sounded an alarm call.

Hearing the alarm call the wild group of meerkats bolted back over the dune and left Morning Glory to flee in the other direction to a nearby bolt hole.

Karma returns above ground and notices Morning Glory still hasnt returned. She looks out worrily into the distance wondering if she had gotten into some kind of trouble.

Stratus stands very worried. He wants to venture out and find her, but the last thing the group needed were two missing dominants.

Karma sends out contact calls hoping that Morning Glory will hear them.

Huddled in the tiny space, Morning Glory spent the time alone contemplating. Where were the Tiny Kats? Had they abandoned her like Leaf had done a few weeks previous? Was that really her natal group on the other side of the dry river?

Annoyed, Va lay on the sand flicking her tail up and down.

Hearing no response from Morning Glory, Karma looks to the Tiny Kat members present at the burrow then heads out to try to find her.

Faeya scanned the area as Nimbus continued making contact calls. The two were approaching the area they had last seen their dominant, but they heard no response. Flying overhead, Faeaya spotted a bird of prey and alerted Nimbus. The two took shelter under a thorn bush.

Karma sniffs at the ground trying to pick up Morning Glory's scent then soon finds herself in the area where the group was last foraging. She stands up on her hind legs scanning the area. She spots Faeaya and Nimbus sheltering under a bush and eyes them curiously. Suddenly she hears a screech up in the sky and spots the bird of prey. Karma realizes that she's out in the open and bolts for the shelter of the bush. She chirps to Faeaya and Nimbus letting them know that she wants to help them find Morning Glory.

Wanting to check the coast was clear; Morning Glory poked her nose out of the bolt hole, sniffed the air and casually emerged. Standing on her hind legs, she looked around but the predator was nowhere to be seen.
Sighing to herself that the wild group of meerkats were long gone in the opposite direction, she decided to forage in the shade.

Still back the burrow, Va snuffled around on the surface, growling angrily to herself.

Having heard Faeya’s alarm, Tisca rushed for cover and chirped to the others letting them know that she was there to support their search.
