Roleplay - 23rd of September

ooc- Lucky is still on the edge of the border right?

ic- Linda remained on sentry for a little bit before taking a quick bite and resuming to post. She smelled something, like the rover was still there, not fully off of their land. Maybe her mind was playing tricks on her. Bsesides, what danger is a rover that's not even paying attention to them?

Maylene then walked back over to the other tree and laid down, this one had more shade and so the sand was cool which made Maylene like it more.

Concerned about Lancaster entering the fallen log, Josephine stood well away and panicked as the alarm call was sounded.
Making a series of small short calls, Josephine wandered around the pups anxiously..There wasn’t much that she could do: either abandon the pups and help intimidate the snake or protect the pups and hope Lancaster backs away. Gently nudging Gretel closer to Golly Gosh she chose her second option and barked at Lancaster to retreat.

Catching the scent of female meerkats, Dusk came across the Willows sleeping burrow and began to scent mark the area.. If he was lucky their might be some babysitters home.

The smell must be an illusion. She went to foraging again and found a scorpion, her favorite. After finishing it she starred at Maylene, still curious on why she aided the enemy. She'll personally keep a close eye on her.

Tank climbs up higher on the fallen down tree and stands on the edge of a thick branch for a better vantage point to keep and eye out for danger. He catches a whif of Lucky's scent and growls. He must still be in the area. Tank makes a 360 as he scans the horizon closely but cant see Lucky.

Hearing Josephine's calls to retreat and after dodging another close strike from the puff adder, Lancaster thinks better of it and retreats from the hallowed out tree. It's just not worth the risk especialy when they're so far away from the protection of the group with vulnerable pups in tow. Lancaster sends out lead calls letting Josephine and the pups know that it's time to move on and starts to lead them toward Midnight's territory.

Lucky sees Dusk and goes back for another try. He should go for the babysitters. He joins up with the Midnights male.

Linda finished up on her foraging wondering what was bugging Tank. She stood by him and barked wondering what was the matter.

Tank decides to ignore Lucky's lingering scent and let's him do whatever he may be up to. Hearing Linda's concerned bark, Tank looks down and peeps reassuringly. He just tends to take sentry duty very seriously and let's her know everything is fine.

Jackie keeps standing sentry where she is.

Bored with waiting for Jackie to move, Snowflake goes and lies in the shade.

Buckeye leads her family back toward the direction of the burrow, unaware that her pups and baysitters aren't there anymore.

Afraid, Glade stays really close to Josephine.

ooc- Where's the DM?

ic-Linda snaps to attention and follows Buckeye's lead calls to head back to the burrow. She looked forward to seeing the pups at the burrow after a somewhat crazy day.

Tank climbs down from his sentry post and follows Buckeye heading back towards the burrow, unaware that his brother had led Josephine and the pups on a risky adventure.

Entering uncharted territory, Lancaster goes on high alert, taking quick and frequent breaks to scan the area for danger. He leads Josephine and the pups across the border into Midnight's territory.

ooc: atb2700, should we move to Midnight's forum or wait until Little_Maybelline replys?

Jackie follows Buckeye, unaware of the babysitter's and pup's absence.

Snowflake follows by Jackie.

Linda followed Buckeye with obediance and always stayed a few meters behind her. She too was oblivious of the events unfolding with the babysitters and the pups, and still expected to see them unharmed when they got to the burrow.

Leon picked Megan up and followed.

Maylene has rested well enough for the day and so she quickly got up and followed but stayed in the middle of the group.

Linda remained towards the front of the mob just behind Buckeye. She foraged well enough, had alone exploration time, and made large contributions to the mob, so she guessed it was a good day for her overall.

Tank trails to the back of the group as he focuses on looking out for danger as he follows. It was an eventful day and he's looking forward to resting his sore body once the group arrive at the burrow. Unfortunately there may not be any time to rest once they find out Lancaster, Josephine and the pups went missing.

ooc: Well, let's have the Willows return home, and when they see that the babysitters and pups are gone, they go out to look for them toward Midnight territory. We have to make sure the Unknowns are heading in that direction too.

Buckeye continues to lead her large family home, digging in the sand every few yards.

ooc: Ok sounds good to me.

Tank smiles looking forward to seeing the pups after a long eventful day, unaware that they're no longer at the burrow.

Snowflake runs. He loved pups as many had a simular personality to him.

Jackie runs by him making sure he doesn't run ahead of Buckeye.

Linda followed at a moderate pace keeping up with Buckeye. Once they are at the burrow they can rest, spend time with the pups, and go to sleep.

Tank picks up his pace anxious to get home.

Dewdrop runs around, urging Daisy to play. But she was nervous without her sister.

Vahki dragged Visorak against his will...

Tank saw Vahki dragging Visorak and narrowed his eyes. He didn't like seeing Visorak getting treated like a slave.
