Roleplay - 23rd of September

Verniece looked at Vahki and barked. Stop that! Hutch, Miley, and Crash also looked on, but made sure to keep follow Buckeye back to the burrow.

At the splinter, Glade was growing tired and was fallinga sleep standing up. She was hungry and didn't feel like playing or walking anymore.

Tank growls at Vahki but chooses not to do anything to stop his control over Visorak. He's too sore and tired to put up with another fight. He looks away focused on getting home.

Lancaster notices Glade becoming exhausted. He too is starting to feel hungry and tired and his feet are starting to hurt. He comes to a stop and peeps to Josephine and the pups. It's time to take a break. He leads them to the shade of a nearby tree to rest.

Leon narrowed his eyes at Vahki, one thing was for sure, if anyone tried to treat Meg that way, they'd be road kill.

Seeing Lucky as more of an ally than a threat, Dusk began to sniff around the entrances to the burrow and occasionally popped his head underground.

Also seeing Glade’s tiredness, Josephine carefully picked up the young pup and carried her the rest of the short distance to the safety of the shade. With the four safely nestled together, Josephine approached Lancaster and sat beside him.

Lancaster scootches close to Josephine and begins to groom her to soothe her sore muscles and to clean off some dirt that may have gotten on her fur during the day's travel but he was also strengthening the bond between them.

Jackie snarls slighty at Vahki.

Snowflake wonders what all the fuss is about and just grins at Vahki.

Tank starts to feel drowzy and lets out a big yawn. His pace to keep up with the group slows down and he starts to feel his eyelids getting heavy but pushes himself to keep up. They're not too far from the burrow.

Linda noticed Tank slow down and barked trying to rouse him so he can keep going, however she herself kept a steady pace with Buckeye. Almost home.

Jackie gives a concerned glance at Tank, but keeps walking.

Tank heard Linda's bark and jerks himself awake. He pushes himself to stay awake until the group reaches the burrow.

Josephine nuzzled the side of her nose under Lancaster's chin and against the side of his face, she was so very glad that he hadn't been injured by the snake.

Lancaster nuzzles Josephine back passionately. He was happy and relieved that she managed to pull through the worst of the cobra bite otherwise he would've been lost without her.

Bacl at the group, Buckeye was teh first to reach the burrow. Not seeing anyone above ground, she heads below. Verniece follows. For ten minutes, she searches the undeground complex for her pups and baysitters. Where are they?! She runs above ground and alerts the group to the situation. Miley and Crash search the area, but they see no sign of struggle. Hutch scans the area for them, but sees nothing. Frantically, Buckeye calls for a search party. It was getting late. They needed to find them.

Leon rushed up, he had never met te pups or the babysitters, but he was eager to help find them.

Megan rushed forward, she also wanted to help, even if she was only a pup.

ooc: Woah, what happened?

ooc: the babysitters and pups wandered into the Midnights territory.

ooc: Gulp, that's not good, considering the bad blood. All I can say is Teetsie won't hesitate to avenge the Midnight's loss...

ooc: what was that?

ooc: Teetsie will attack them, still hating the Willows for her defeat... she won't kill anyone though, I was just planning another Midnights vs Willows battle...

Linda was shocked when she heard the call. She scurried around trying to find them, but had no luck. They had to find them fast! Maybe their scent still remained. She barked giving everyone the clue that they should try to sniff them out.

Jackie hears the call and looks around with concern, smelling around trying to capture their scent.

Snowflake, who had noticed and was feeling concerned climbed up a small tree and tried to look for them from up there.

Tank doesn't see the babysitters above ground and doesnt panic at first. Perhaps they're underground caring for the pups. He follows Buckeye below to see if the pups and babysitters are there but after checking every part of the burrow, they seem to be nowhere in sight and Tank begins to get anxious. After hearing Buckeye's frantic calls, he too becomes paniced. Where could Lancaster Josephine and the pups have gone to? Where ever they went they must be found and fast before the dangers of the dark set in. Tank trots around the burrow frantically calling for the babysitters and pups.

Josephine licked the side of Lancaster’s ear and carefully removed a tick from behind the lobe. Chirping contentedly, she wondered if it was time to be getting the pups back to the burrow.

Seeing the Willow’s return to the burrow, Dusk dashed off into the grass and hung around watching, they seemed to be agitated that no one was at home.

Linda started calling and sniffing. Maybe if she went out further she'll have better luck. She went out looking for them, trying to get a scent. She didn't smell them, but she did smell something else. She looked around and found nothing. It must have been an old scent from a rover that passed by. Where would they go if they were to leave the burrow? She stopped and thought about where they might be. Prehaps at a foraging spot?

Buckeye decided to head toward Midnight territory. Although faint, she could smell her pups' scent in that direction. She led her family in that direction, hoping they weren't already too late.
