Roleplay - 29th of September

Linda kept running. Just a few more feet and... at the Border! She beat back the Midnight that followed them and barked for Tank to run over. She started running too.

ooc- continue in Willows?

ooc: alright. But Rahkshi don't care about borders. He's a Shadow Death... XD

Suddenly Tank notices Rahkshi is dangerously close behind him. He's struggling to keep running at the fastest speed he's ever ran and now that Rahkshi is hot on his tail, he'll have to push himself even harder to try to lose him. Tank increases his running speed to the limit but nearly slips a few times which slows him down. He manages to catch up to Linda at the border. Finally home! But danger is still close behind them and it appears it's going to follow them across Willows' territory.

Unaware of the danger his brother Tank and Linda are in, Lancaster is standing gaurd over Josephine as she forages. For the past several minutes, he's been keeping a close eye on a family of Jackals in the distance, but they haven't noticed the meerkats and don't seem to be of any danger, so things seem to be good...so far. But if the Jackal pack pick up their scent or spot them then things could take a dangerous turn. Lancaster sends out soft warning calls to let Josephine, the small Midnights splinter group and the pups know to keep on their gaurd. He looks to Josephine as she smiles at him and smiles back then steps in front of her protectively still eyeing the jackals closely. He'll risk his life to keep her and the pups safe.

Black Widow watches as Rahkshi keeps pursuing the 2 Willows meerkats. She churrs in frustration and envy, wishing she could run like him.

ooc- moving to Willows.

Eztli is surprised when he sees how Teetsie looked at Lithuim. He decides to make himself useful and stands sentry, still looking at the fighting every few secounds.

At the splinter group, Mae was foraging happily beside her mate Click.
Golly Gosh, hearing the calls of Josephine, ran over, barking loudly, not wanting to miss out on food.

Satisfied that at least one of the pups was getting a meal, Josephine nuzzled Lancaster gratefully as he stood protectively over them. Knowing they were in safe paws, she quickly groomed the side of his leg before wandering away to look for another meal to excavate.

Glade runs over and begs Jsehine for more food.

Lithium barks and thrashes. He wanted his family more than ever now.

ooc: I know that Pancake, and I do too, but I think Atb2700 wants Lithium to lead.

Lancaster watches the jackal pack closely as they head in the opposite direction. He sighs in relief glad that they didn't spot the splinter group, otherwise things could've ended tragically. Lancaster nuzzles Josphine as she quickly groomed him. He was willing to do anything to keep her and the pups safe, even go a day without food. He watches the pups closely as they pad around looking for food.

Black Widow catches her breath and turns toward the Midnights. At least there's some fighting and the potential for bloodshed here at home. She just won't be apart of it. Black Widow sits back and watches the fight between the Midnights and Lithium with interest.

Dawn was also at the Splinter. (I think Irwin is there, not sure.)

Bahrag growled and hipslammed Lithium to the ground.

ooc: Could we figure it out, then? ><

ooc: Well, let's try to figure out some kind of plot. Maybe one of them could lose, but then the group splits as loyalities are divided anyway.

ooc: Or they could take turns like Cyan and Enigma. XD

As the jackal family vanish into the horizon, Lancaster sighs in relief and sits on his haunches to try to calm himself down. It was a close call and it may not be the last close call as the Willows/Midnights splinter group trek deeper into Midnights territory. For the Midnights who are with Lancaster, Josephine and the Willows pups, encountering the main Midnights mob will be a happy reunion but a trip to hell for the Willows babysitters and pups. The Midnights and Willows splinter may be friends now but that could all change if they have a run in with the main Midnights group. Lancaster eyes the Midnights splinter, suddenly feeling threatened. He follows close behind Josephine acting as her body gaurd, not only to protect her from a sudden side change by the Midnights splinter, but to also watch her back for predators. He also looks over his shoulder to make sure the pups are staying close.

Seeing bahrag hipslam Lithium to the ground gets Black Widow rearing for a fight. She stands on all fours and flicks her tail, itching to throw herself in the ring.

ooc: Hmm, if the group split it would be a good idea, since the Midnights are far too large... but I think that taking turns would work, just because I do eventually want a Teetsie x Lithium litter, it just may not happen for a while.

ooc: ok that sounds good. Should they both stay in the group or whoever is not DM just return everytime they want to fight for dominance?

Lithium struggles and amnages to push Bahrag off, biting him at the same time.

Glade gets in line behind her siblings and stays close to her Willow companions.

Lancaster pads along content that everyone is sticking together and are staying safe.

Black Widow tries to resist the urge to join the fight. It's strictly between dominant males and she'd only be getting herself into trouble if she interfeared.

Bahrag returned the hipslam.

Black Widow forces herself to sit and watch. The good news is that she has front row seats to watch the action

Eztli decides to climb a bush to stand sentry so Bahrag and Lithium did not distract him.

ooc: I think that works.

ooc: ok, so we'll have Lithium lose first...

Lithium hipslams even harder.

At the splinter, Glade is happily following her guardians. She calls to her siblings. Hurry up!!

Noticing the concerned look on Lancaster’s face as he walked beside her, Josephine stopped foraging and paid more attention to nuzzling and grooming her bodyguard hoping to ease his troubles.

Black Widow decides to approach the group, not to throw herself into the fighting frey of males, but to hopefully be accepted back into the group after being away for so long. She keeps her body language at a submissive level but the smell of Rahkshi on her may get into serious trouble.

As Josephine nuzzled and groomed him, Lancaster's tensions begin to ease. He peeps a thank you and returns the nuzzling and grooming. He looks over his shoulder once more to make sure the pups are keeping up.

Grace sighed at Glade. I'm exhausted, I'm going as fast as I possibly can...
