Roleplay - 29th of September

Seeing Tank and Linda return, Keeko runs over, chirping worriedly. Are you alright?

Having started his day early, Dusk was already up and about foraging in the Willows territory. He had been following the large group for several days and still hadn’t made any progress with any of females. Slinking towards his usual lookout post, he sighed and kept his head down.

Buckeye rushes over and grooms Tank and Linda.I'm so glad you guys are ok! She the spots Rahkshi. Growling, she chirps to her family. It was time to chase. Verniece and Hutch follow, war dancing.

Linda sighed at the call for chase. Don't those Midnights have any self control? She reluctantly turns around and gives chase. At least she's with the mob. She'll forage and rest well once the Midnight is gone before the mob heads over.

Leon followed in wardance. Megan was right behind him.

Tank glares at Rahkshi and smirks. Looks like the tables have turned. He follows the Willows in a wardance hoping that with the whole Willows group charging at him, he'll retreat.

ooc- Wait, Pancake hasn't even posted as him yet. Shouldn't we wait?

Rahkshi narrows his eyes, spotting Vahki and Visorak as they charged. They needed to obey him, and they knew it, but that was not his concern. Where was Sidorak? He shook off his thoughts. Whatever. He didn't care. Instead, he ran to a tree and climbed up it quickly. He was not retreating. Only delaying the attack.

Spotting Rahkshi, Keeko joined in in the charge, eager to get rid of the threat.
Crash followed, growling. Miley was beside him, war-dancing.

Linda, now seeing the threat, charges with the others. Does he really think he can take on all of them? Now the Willows had the advantage.

Buckeye called of the charge. The stranger was falling back. She chirped to her group, thanking them. There were benefits to being one of the largest groups in the area.

Rahkshi snickered from his place in the tree. He hissed at Vahki and Visorak.

Vahki nodded and walked away. Visorak hissed before following.

Tank growls to himself disappointed that the chase had to be called off so soon. He was hoping to get his claws and sharp teeth into Rahkshi but decides just to follow Buckeye's orders. He looks up at Rahkshi and spits at him then follows after the Willows as they pulled back.

Rahkshi smirked. He had a new target...

unaware of Rahkshi's intentions, tank continued to follow the Willows but looks over his shoulder occasionally to see if he left. Nope he's still there. Tank looks away and growls. He has a feeling that they're dealing with a persistant pain in the grass meerkat.

Linda restrains and heads back to the others. She starts foraging and soon finds a skink. She hasn't eaten all day.

Keeko goes on sentry duty, watching over his family.
Miley and Crash forage.

Jackie snarls up at Rahkshi and goes to forage with the group.

Snowflake forages happily.

Linda ends up finding a scorpion, three beetles, and a lizard, and ate them all. After having her meal and her hunger quelled, Linda layed down and relaxed. Once it's time to go she'll be right back to it.

Tank gave Rahkshi one last glare then got back to forageing along with the rest of the group. He finds himself a large millipede and drags it across the ground to wipe off the toxic excretions then gulps it down, aggressively and hungrily.

Rahkshi snickered, and watched the group, waiting...

Buckeye kept an eye on the group. They needed to build up their strength, for who knows what they would find in Midnight territory.

Linda, feeling well rested, began wondering around the mob sporadically, looking for anything the caught her attention. She sniffed the ground, catching the scent of something buried. She clawed at the ground, digging a hole until she unearthed a millipede. She dragged it out, rubbed of the toxins, killed it, and took it with her to a flat area in the midst of the others and layed down. She'll savor this one.

Tank pads over to a large log and begins digging around it when he catches the scent a scorpion deep below the sand. He buldozes into the ground and pulls up the scorpion which erects its stinging tail to defend itself but it'll prove to be no use. Tank beats down on the scorpion while using his fast reflexes to dodge the stinger. He bites off the stinger then scoops it up into his mouth and crunches down on it, eating it quickly.
