Roleplay - 10th of October

Avril, having seen Morning Glory stood up on her back legs and chirped a friendly greeting She is probably wondering where the new meerkats are.

Opal let out a happy little sigh.

Karma also picks up the scents and looks around anxiously. The thought of it being more rovers in the area worried her. If just one more female falls prey to a rover then every female in the group will be at risk for an eviction.

Sniffing around and chirping inquisitively, Morning Glory noticed the new arrivals and instantly bounded over to investigate.
Rubbing her head against the new arrivals, the dominant female quickly scent marked them to announce her position and chirr’d welcoming them to the group. Three new subordinate females were of more value to the structure and support of the group than those pesky rovers who were hopefully off their territory by now.

Sensing the new arrivals Sanders bounded past his sister and stood beside his adopted mother. Glancing over his shoulder, he shuddered with the feeling that someone was watching him.

Leaf, on the far side of the group yawned and continued digging hoping to find a meal.

Karma stands tall on her hind legs wondering where Morning Glory had taken off to. She figures she had gone to search out potential rovers that might be in the area. Unaware that she had actually accepted more new meerkats into the group, Karma gets back to foraging.

Myra dipped her head in greeting to Morning Glory.

Avril smiled and chirped happily in thanks to Morning Glory then turned her head in Opal's direction and chirped, calling her over.

Opal walked over to Morning Glory, Avril, and Myra.

Hidden in the long grass Va sat watching the newcomers scheming, hopefully she could find a way to get them involved with creating some excitement and possibly changing the minds of other subordinates. Noticing young Sanders come into view, the dwarf meerkat smiled wickedly...Maybe the fun was just beginning..

Karma briefly looks up to see if Morning Glory has returned. She glances further into the distance and spots her, Myra and Avril interacting with another meerkat. Curious to know who it is, Karma bounds over. She sniffs Opal and peeps a greeting.

The blind meerkat Opal smiled then turned to face Karma's general direction and peeped in greeting.

Karma realizes that Opal is blind but it doesn't change her mind about making a new friend.

Antebellum nods in greeting to Karma. She's blind, but I don't think it bothers her. Antebellum had given birth to a blind pup, and it survived, but when Cheyenne overthrew her and became Dominant, Cheyenne killed little Sightless.

Karma imagines that it must've been scary and perilous when Opal was growing up blind but knows that she'll continue to thrive for a long time. She once had a blind brother in her old mob but he didn't survive to 2 months old. She still thinks about him now and then. he was such a sweet pup that made everyone around him smile when things were down. Karma sighs as she starts to think about him.

Opal smiled and sat down. Her life had been hard, very hard. She had nearly died a couple times but managed to make it through because of her sisters. Even mute Myra had been a big help.

Myra walked up to Karma and Antebellum fallowed closely by Avril. The mute meerkat grinned and dipped her head in greeting for lack of a voice.

Karma peeps a greeting back to Myra. She's happy to meet new meerkats no matter how different they may be from ordinary meerkats.

Wilson finishes foraging and sees it start to get late. He growls, uhappy about his failed trip. Next time he's going alone. He sits, thinking if now's the time to head back.

Myra smiled at Karma, happy to have possibly made a new friend.

Karma looks at the setting sun. It's starting to get late. She glances at Morning Glory waiting for call to return to the burrow.

Avril yawns and sit down.

Karma watches a pair of ground squirells play chicken with a yellow mongoose.

Jupiter was laying under a bush, relaxing. Still unaware of the day's events with the rovers, the female let out a yawn, stretching out her slender body.

Karma chuckles as she watched the yellow mongoose chase the ground squirells.

Opal heard the ground squirrels and mongoose wrestle then tilted her head to the side and let out a little chirped. What is it?

Karma peeps with a sound of laughter in her voice as she continued to watch the animal's chase each other (They're ground squirells and a yellow mongoose. They're chasing each other around the group)

Opal smiled, that sounded nice. Cool, it must be funny.

Karma smiles (It is) It's also one of her favorite puphood memories. She loved to watch ground squirells and yellow mongooses interact. It's the perfect medicine for when you're having a stressful day.

Opal let out a happy little sigh. Whos going fastest?
