Roleplay - 19th October

Dahoma squeaks and smiles up at his father.

Kamaria watches Wichita warily.

Duke follows next to Aliya as she looks for a new burrow. It's getting dark. Aliya should pick soon. They don't even have time to clean it tonight.

Kamaria fells her feet begin to sag, she was getting really tired.

Dahoma whimpers, he was tired.

Aliya finds a decent looking burrow. She goes below ground to inspect. Seeing it's safe and stable, she gives the all clear.

Suri decides to head below ground, exhausted.

Little Boy follows his sister.

Emzio also comes below ground, barely able to walk.

Wichita scent marks the outside of the burrow a little and then heads below ground.

Duke inspects the burrow and scent marks the surrounding area, making this their new home. He then starts doing some immediate cleanup on the burrow. The burrow needs to be nice and clean if they're going to raise pups in it.

ooc: only Dominants can scent mark.

Kamaria growls. Only aliya and Duke could scent mark, they were the Dominants. She was already untrusting of Witchita.

Dahoma, tired, heads below ground.

Finished with the needed cleaning and scent marking for the day, Duke heads below ground. It's late. He goes to the main chamber and lays down, waiting for Aliya to join him.

kamaria snorts and heads below.

Suri and Little Boy cuddle up and soon fall to sleep.

Emzio falls to sleep.

Aliya walks over to Duke. She knows the pups are coming and is naturally nervous.

Duke nuzzles Aliya and chirps softly to her. Their first litter was fine, and so will their second one be. He looks around within the chamber, making sure the rest of the mob is okay.

Kamaria watches the moonlight begin to trickle through the entrance, and she sighs. Like the moon.

Duke yawns and lays his head down, ready to call it a night. He looks at Aliya, eager for the arrival of their new litter.

Aliya smiles, despite the natural nerves.

ooca; Aren't Dominants the only ones that can scent mark a new burrow? Just wondering...

ooc: I think subordinates do sometimes scent mark. I remember an episode on MM where all the Whiskers members were scent marking the Lazuli's latrine. I think it's only in those situations though and when it isn't the males do most of the scent marking.

ooc- I think the dominants and occasionally subordinate males are the only ones that scent mark. Also weren't the pups supposed to be born today?

ic- Duke smiles back and yawns again, starting to feel really tired. He starts to doze off, despite his anxiety.

Wichita then rests her head down on the ground and just lays there, not exactly ready for sleep yet.

ooc: In MM only the subordinate males scent marked... so that means that Wichita wasn't supposed to scent mark. Oh well, I guess it's okay.

Wichita then moves closer to the other members and then rests her head on the ground again.

Exhausted from another long day, Rumpel Teaser tried to close her eyes whilst Mungo Jerrie continued to pester her by nibbling at her ear and neck as they lay side by side in the sleeping chamber.
Feeling restless with the disturbance, she lashed out with a angry growl at her brother and turned her body away from him to return the aggravation by continuously flicking her tail in his face.
Eventually they both settle down and fall asleep with their heads resting on the earthy ground.

Duke slowly starts to fall asleep. With the dry season fast approaching, they will need to work hard to keep their soon to be newborn pups alive.

ooc: I was thinking we could end the RP day before Aliya has her pups. I'm not good at posting births, etc.

Duke soon falls asleep, unable to keep himself awake for long.

ooc- I think I'm done here for the day too.

ooc: Yeah, I doubt anyone is. xD
