Roleplay - 19th October

Duke picks up Dahoma and rushes him into the bolthole, then sets him down. He barks, telling him to stay where he is, and goes back above ground to urge the others inside.

Kumi bolts inside.

Romeo quickly runs to get Ajia. He picked her up and darted for the bolthole.

Duke keeps barking, telling everyone to get in. He looks up, making sure the predator doesn't start an attack without him knowing.

Dahoma squeals in anger. he wanted to be like his father. Kamaria watched. She wasn't afraid of an eagle, but decided against going above.

Suri and Little Boy dive into the bolthole in fear of their lives.

Aliya picks up Emzio and runs to the burrow as quickly as she can, almost stumbling in the process.

ooc- Let's just say everyone is in.

ic- Duke dives into the burrow before the predator has a chance to make a meal out of any of them. He stays towards the front, watching the skies.

Dahoma watches the skies like his father. He wanted to be just like his father.

Duke lets Dahoma try to follow his actions, as long as he stays inside. The airborn predator is still in sight.

Jessyca and Glitter dart in the bolt hole.

Duke watches carefully, making sure not to let anyone out until it was gone. The predator is still there. It will leave eventually.

Huddled in the back of the small chamber, Munjo Jerrie and his sister huddled together waiting patiently for all all clear to emerge again.

Duke can't see the predator anymore. He carefully sticks his head out of the bolthole and looks around all over. All clear. He nuzzles Aliya and comes above ground, sounding an "all clear" signal. He stands on a stump, resuming sentry duties.

Dahoma tries to claw his way up the stump and sand sentry like his father, but he's too small.
Kamaria comes above, but keeps a wary eye on the sky.

Duke sees his son struggling and helps Dahoma out of the bolthole. He smiles and resumes sentry duty.

ooc: Dahoma was trying to stand on the stump like his father.

ooc- Oh. Forget that part, then.

ic- Duke looks down at Dahoma. At his size a pup wouldn't even be able to see above the bushes and shrubs. He picks up Dahoma and sets him down on the stump, at least letting him have the experiance.

Wichita had taken a rest in a bolt hole for nearly thirty minutes and was now wide awake and had gained back some of her energy that she had lost while running. She was now is Jumaa territory and began to trace a scent she smelt nearby and slowly began to follow it. After five minutes of just walking Wichita had finally found the scent and then looked up and saw other meerkats and immediately laid down and became submissive.

ooc- Don't get any funny ideas. Besides, isn't she a little too evil to be a Jumaa?

ic- Duke quickly spots Wichita and barks, alerting the others. He picks up Dahoma and sets him down off of the stump and walks over, curious. They must wait to see if Aliya accepts her.

ooc- she'll take this mob and she's still learning stuff so she could change, but I don't want her to be a loner. This was my last choice for her.

Wichita didn't attack Duke when he had come up to her and just acted submissively. She didn't want to be seen as a threat.

ooc- Meerkats4life decides if she gets accepted. Not you.

ic- Duke sniffs Wichita and steps back, letting Aliya decide. He notices a fresh scar on her and gets curious.

Wichita then just laid there continuing to be submissive and looks around for the dominant female.

Dahoma follows his father's gaze to where the lone female is standing. He growls.

Kamaria turns her head. WIth her sister's pups on the way, she wasn't taking any chances.

Suri and Little Boy watch the new female curiously.

Emzio watches her mum to see what she'll do.

Aliya walks over to Witchita and smells her. Being heavily pregnant, Aliya was naturally suspicious for her pup's sake, but everyone deserved a chance right? She starts scent marking Witchita, despite her suspicions.

Kamaria growled bitterly. If she was about to give birth, she never would have accepted a strange female.
Dahoma glanced at the new female. He didn't like her.

Wichita takes the scent marking and then grooms Aliya a little. Then Wichita begins to forage a little and after digging a hole she finds a millipede and after dragging it through the sand devours it and then goes on sentry duty and climbing up a log.
